What started as a funny-ha-ha meme game on the internet has certainly shaped up to be a very endearing and light hearted sandbox physics game.
Untitled Goose Game takes place in a quaint little English village, where you play as a goose who decided that today is a fine day for mischief and shenanigans, and so you set out to harass the local villagers in a variety of creative ways. You're given a laundry list of items to complete in every area in order to progress to the next area, and they involve various ways in which you annoy, scare, frustrate or otherwise bother the people around town, like hiding their tools, or locking them in, or stealing their glasses, or tripping them over, etc.
You truly get to live out your inner ***hole aspirations, and you can do it entirely consequence free, as the worst they'll do is simply shoo you away, or take back their stuff, meanwhile you can get right back to honking at them like the menace you are.
The controls of the goose are simple, maybe a bit too simple, as they tend to be a bit clunky when moving around and trying to grab things with your beak. Then again, I've never been a fan of using the mouse to move your character, so that might have something to do with it. There were several instance of me biffing a snatch'n'run manoeuvrer because the beak wouldn't connect with the item I wanted to pick up, so it did sour me on the controls a fair bit.
The game is very family friendly, as there is no violence, and there's no spoken dialogue whatsoever, and everything is relayed through body language or thinking bubbles containing images, so this is an excellent game to let kids play and have fun.
The game is also rather short, especially for the asking price. You can beat the game in about 2.5 hours, which isn't much for nearly 20€, so if you intend to pick this up at some point, I would suggest grabbing it during a sale of at least 50% off.
Got this on sale. 10/10. Just an absolutely perfect game. Scratches that "chaos goblin" itch. I didn't give it a lot of playtime because I'm not really an achievement chaser, but I'm certainly going to play it again later.
UGG is a puzzle comedy game where you play as the titular Goose. The controls are simple: left joystick controls movement as Goose makes his way through the game's small town setting. A-button allows for sprinting, B is for grabbing onto things, and X allows for honking - which is 99% for harassing and bothering the townsfolk then laughing at them. UGG is a comedy, and it is hilarious.
Each level in the game is a discrete part of the town, starting with the gardener and his garden. The player is given a checklist of different tasks that the Goose has to do in order to satisfy the comedic narrative of the game and move onto the next level.
The puzzles are clever, making sense by the game's realistic world rules. Some solutions are easier, like getting into garden, while others are more intricate, like getting the gardener wet. The human characters and their accompanying AI exclaim in "Simlish", and it's the interactions between Human and Goose that create most of UGG's humor. I don't think I've laughed out loud this much from a game, ever. Then laughed at the townsfolk by honking.
After finishing the main quest - 4 sections in all - I was delighted to find extended content for players looking for more. This could have been part of a the free DLC update that also introduced a 2-player co-op mode. This is all to say that there is a lot of good content here. Also worth mentioning is that this a great game for kids, esp. as an introduction to video games. I played it with a 7-year old who loved it!

Sooooo much fun, highly recommend. It is a pretty short game but super worth it if you like these kinds of games. Puzzles were challenging but not too difficult to cause frustration. Worth the buy!
This game really just puts makes you ask what exactly it is you enjoy about gaming. We're all guilty of being sucked into hitmarkers and kills and storyline, but Untitled Goose Game really makes you realise that sometimes you just want to play chaos manifested in Goose form.
Being a machiavellian menace never felt so good, especially when you can play co op now and be multiple maciavellian menaces. I played all the way through this solo on the Switch when it launched and loved it, and while the co op is simply a second player in the same game, none of the fun is lost.
A fantastic example of what a game should be. Buy it. Now.

i enjoyed this goose like experience, it made me fall out of my chair laughing. id give it 4.5 star review. And I love watching all the people suffer because I stole their stuff. I also love doing everything on the to do list. Also. Why do people hate geese?
A co-op classic. Funny and visually beautiful. One of a kind. Absolutely recommended to play coop.
It's a very relaxing puzzle game that gave me a few laughs. Some items on the checklist can only happen when your target is doing something specifically, others you can influence the townsfolk to not wait long. Though, the price is higher than I think it should be. Game is easy to run and there's little content to warrant $20. (even with the hidden objectives, which I don't care for because this game isn't hardcore/serious to warrant secrets of it's own.) I'd catch it sale for under $10, maybe $15 if you can't wait for a major Steam sale.
EDIT: So I found out after you finish the main game, the "Hidden tasks" become available on the lists. I stand corrected.

I played this game with my girlfriend using local co op. Some areas are better suited to two player and some are better for single player. However in general a cute and amazing game. I would recommend to just about everyone.

This game brings me so much joy every time I play it! You get to be a mischievous goose, stealing the gatekeeper's food, messing with their radio, and causing chaos in so many ways. I love how interactive everything is, and playing with a friend locally makes it even more hilarious, especially with all the teamwork and tasks involved. It's honestly one of my favourite games on Steam, and I really wish they'd create more games like this!

This game is great.
It has a very distinctive art style, the puzzles are engaging and fun, and reminds me of "thank goodness your here!" which is another great puzzle game that is made by the same developers. the only problem for me is that there's not enough content. but then again, that's my opinion. someone might say different.
My overall score for the game is a 9.5/10
Even though I only finished the main game and I still have additional tasks added after completing the main tasks but I Absolutely love everything about this game. the design, the colours of this small cozy village and it's people, the art style, everything is nicely and beautifully made.

A fun, fluffy game where you get to be mean to everyone. Played through once; haven't felt the need to go back and play through again, even with review-promised additional content. Maybe once I forget more about what I needed to do the first time around.
Such a fun quirky little game. I love wreaking havoc as the goose of my nightmares. Seriously, so charming, and well put together, it's just fun to look at and listen to. The puzzles are a great balance of challenging and achievable. It's just FUN.
Fun game, its chill if you play it normally but if you go for the 100% then its not so fun with the time trial achievements, I swear the Back Gardens and the Pub are so much more difficult than any other section for time trials.
Fun game for a few hours of chill gaming with a friend. It's fun trying new ways to alter the interactions with NPCs, and if you want all the achievements that is very doable as well.

Embody chaos with wings. I adore the dedicated honk button! Navigation can be tricky as you're a toddling goose. I was able to complete the game, but I disliked that the last to-do list was pretty much made up of timed challenges! I just want to be a menace goose ;A;
I don't typically write reviews (particularly for games I have less than 100 hours on and have not worked towards completing achievements), but really feel I must in this case. You play as geese who cause unspeakable trauma to unsuspecting townspeople. Peace was clearly never an option.
Pro: music was excellent and added a really special dimension. As a pianist who has played Debussy's preludes many times, it was great to see them adapted for expressive use in a video game. The music is unlike most games I play, and a welcome and refreshing change.
Con: The big con for us was the nature of the shared screen / 2-p view limited our options for chaos and generally wreaking havoc. That said, we still managed with what we had. The townspeople will curse our names for all time.
My wife and I (neither are spectacular gamers) beat the game in ~3 hours. It was a short but fun adventure and had us laughing throughout. Highly recommend for couples who are looking for a fun, low-stress game to share together. Likely will not play through again (much in the same vein as an escape room) but recommend nonetheless. If you don't have two controllers, get them. worth it.
This is the BEST game i have ever played. It is fun, enjoyable, and it has really good tasks for you to do! It is seriously the greatest game i have ever seen. You should TOTALLY play this. I recommend this game to anyone that loves gooses and loves adventures. You wont regret playing this. I have been playing this game for over 4 hours. It's seriously entertaining. And to anyone that is reading this comment and don't have the game, get it! It will be one of or the best game you ever played.
I bought this game after sitting in my wish list for a few years. My now 6 year old saw it and had me get it after much convincing. Glad I did, my 4 year old daughter loves it and I love it along with some of my friends. It's cute. It's fun, it's simple and I mean you are a goose!!!!! The puzzles really make you think! I do wish the humans weren't so keen to see you with their things but that would be real life right?! how could a goose hide it taking something lol.
I LOVE THIS GAME!!! It's really fun to cause mayhem all over town and it's really pleasing to sneak into a bar while hiding in a box! Wouldn't recommend it for an 8 year old tho.

Such a fun, cozy and adorable game about a mischievous goose (or 2). Amazing for bonding and cooperation with family, partner or friends! I really enjoyed this. Lots of thrilling moments! 100 times more fun played together! Work together to make the whole town anti-goose 😈 One honk at a time.
Frustrations:
In couch co-op you have to fit in the same screen, which can make it difficult to move around.
The controls are very clumsy, even on PC. Controller might actually be the better choice. You will be dropping items accidentally and having to redo a chain of events because of it. The clumsiness can be funny too, but it can get a little frustrating.
The denizens also cause you to drop items and push you, even when you're not right next to them; like an invisible obstacle. It's annoying, when trying to do a more challenging task.
The style is pretty, the goose is cute and the nature & town are charming.
The game is not very long and there are unfortunately only a couple of areas to unlock.
It left me wanting to explore more places (for example urban and indoors; why can't I enter the houses and see what's in them? 😢). That got me looking for more possible secrets, like a route to a secret new area (which I'm disappointed not to have discovered thus far).
You can however redo the game (a couple of times?) with new lists to accomplish. First play-through took about 4 hours. Some achievements can only be acquired by replaying the areas with new goals.
The game has some puzzle elements that might leave you stuck at times.
It makes you think outside the box. Great game to play with kids!!

The world is made brighter by games like Untitled Goose Game. If you watch the trailer and think to yourself "yeah, I'd like to be a Goose that's a little stinker" then this is for you! It's almost like a puzzle game, as you play with the environment to see what effect your actions have. And there's no losing or death. Simply...you're a goose who is a punk but you live in a town of good people so they don't hurt you.
