Imagine a child that you give access to a map creator. Now imagine if you allow said child to publish on Steam. That's Labyrinths of Atlantis.
So, what's the gameplay? You get spawned to a very randomly looking "labyrinth" constructed of a bare minimum assets. Your goal is to find 6 pieces of paper. And good luck with that, as every part of the map looks exactly the same, so it's literally just about pure luck about stumbling into that. And imagine how upset I was when I finally found the six pieces only to find out that you can actually get duplicates. This game is a horror, but in a meta meaning of being a terrible game.
There are some enemies on the map (on single model for them all) and they are extremely dumb, most of the time you'll find them as they keep walking straight into the fence. That said, they can also spawn just right in front of you, so luckily you have a shotgun. As much as I like that player can actually defend themselves contrary to the usual annoying quirk of having to only sneak and run, that's like the only single positive thing I can say about this game.
There are also teleporters which just teleport you to random part of the map. They also have a hitbox so bad that you can just look at them badly to end up getting teleported and they too can just spawn randomly right in front of you, which can end up in a very annoying situation of you getting teleported out right as you're few steps away from a page.
Warning: Asset Flip!
"Labyrinths of Atlantis" is a Digital Homicide style asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store packs, dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers. It's important to also note the "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware.
This is a particularly lazy effort even for Metal Fox... it's just a collection of "boardwalk" tile assets laid out in a simple map, with a bunch of "robot dog" assets... Metal Fox couldn't even get the AI to work properly so the dogs are glitched into the walls. You have a shotgun and you can shoot the dogs if you want, which just makes them disappear. That's all there is to this garbage... surely, at this point the asset flippers are laughing at Valve's QA process. It's starting to seem to me that Valve prefers collecting the $100 listing fees for asset flips than getting paid genuine money for selling genuine games.
ARGames/Metal Fox have a known history of trying to scam people into paying them money for someone else's work, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. An example of ARGames/Metal Fox doing this is Inaccessible world, which is really "Ultimate Survival", written by the actual developers, Winterbyte. Also, HecatoncheirStory, which is really "3D Game Kit", developed by Unity Technologies.
The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 4 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from (over 9,000 completely free titles), the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected.
Labyrinths of Atlantis is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend.
