Let's be clear, GameGuru is a completely godawful construction kit. If you try to take it seriously as a game, you'll find no resolution or graphics tweaks, no controller tweaks... it's horribly optimised and will be sluggish even on high end rigs.
You can make the argument that GameGuru exists to just make demos and little experimental games to pass around with friends, but that's not what's happened here... the developer is seriously trying to scam people into paying money for this construction kit copy+paste asset flip. That's not okay!
From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision.
The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts.
These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 3 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from (over 9,000 completely free titles), the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected.
While game reviews must be about the game, as this review has been, it's sometimes important for gamers to be aware when there's problems with the developers. In this case, Nikita "Ghost_RUS", a Russian shovelware scam artist who routinely abuses Steam by polluting the marketplace with shovelware like this game. Nikita "Ghost_RUS" continually sends a message of racism, bigotry, homophobia and hate speech through his games, in direct violation of Valve's guidlines for acceptable game content. This is something I feel potential customers should be aware of for two reasons. First, I understand completely that gamers may not want to buy games with such horrible, antihumanitarian messages of hate such as games from Nikita "Ghost_RUS". Secondly, gamers must be aware that if Valve decides to do the right thing and enforce their policy against hate speech and bigotry in games, games such as this will be banned. So, buying games from Nikita "Ghost_RUS" may be putting your money at risk.
Russian Prisoner VS Nazi Zombies is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend.

Absolutely horrible. The zombies only hurt you when you go next to them. The boss, however, doesn't even hurt you at all. The ending is terrible. (Spoiler alert) you walk through a gate and it sends you back to the title screen. It costs 49 cents. Way too much. I should be getting money for playing this abomination of a creation
This game is a hidden gem,it's short but sweet as you walk through the maps you can really tell the developer spent a lot of time and effort,so much in fact that there is only 3,however I feel the last one has much to be desired as you can effortlessly walk for 5 seconds to instantly reach the end of that level,I was in shock as well when I suddenly finished the game it felt as if I just spent an eternity in heaven playing this hidden gem that's so cheap as well! IGN - 10/10 (sidenote due to my mother dying of very horrible diseases i will have to refund)
Well, the developer didn't lied,we are a russian prisoner and we killing nazi zombies,I got what he promised.
Works perfectly without any frame drops, and definitely doesnt crash when you shoot
You may mock this beautiful game for it's simplicity but the game was actually initially released in the USSR so it has a rich history, mostly being played as a past time for officers in the military and guards of the gulags.
this game is amazing there is no other way to describe it never before have i seen such an excellent AI or such intuitive level design. the weapons feel nice to shoot and they are perfectly balanced as well. \

Either it's a 10 year old's first attempt at creating a game or ... Someone who is just lazy and decided to make a mess of a game(in a few hours) and decided to try and sell it :)

this game is a scam , i never leave reviews for games but this game is so bad i need to warn others .i know is cheap but trust me KEEP YOUR MONEY . this is a money grabing steal. i bought a ton of chrap games to mess around on and i got two from this publisher . it had the SAME LOADING SCREEN both of them are pure garbage. right away you are thrown in to the game with your braindead cellmate that just stands and looks at you. then you are expected to get a rock and 360 noscope a guard . this game was 49 cents when i bought it and i still feal cheated out of my money. never buy anything from this company you were warned . have a good day if you read this btw (unless you are the publisher if your the pubilsher go suck a di*k)
GameGuru strikes again.
Thirteen things I learned by playing Russian Prisoner VS Nazi Zombies:
1. Russian prisoners are apparently allowed many bottles of alcohol inside their cells (I guess that Russians probably DIE if they don't get their daily dose of vodka).
2. Russian prison guards will open fire at inmates simply for walking into their line of sight; even when the prisoner remains within the safe confines of their cell.
3. Metal buckets full of stones are conveniently left inside Russian prison cells, so that prisoners can hurl them at prison guards who open fire at them. In some cells, the odd severed head can also be found in said buckets.
4. They must get a lot of bloody breakout attempts in Russian prisons, as they leave medkits freely lying about on tables in the middle of corridors. (Right next to loaded pistols, since they wouldn't want the escaping prisoners to have an unfair disadvantage.)
5. Normal human guards in Russian prisons can take multiple shots to the face before they go down.
6. Not all keys you pick up in Russian prisons are actually used to open anything (and most doors tend to remain unlocked at all times, anyway).
7. Nazi Zombies like to hang out in cave complexes below Russian prisons; and often choose to edge slowly backwards, rather than walking or running towards their foes.
8. Shotguns do only slightly more damage than tiny stones, and leave almost no visible mark on their victims.
9. Nazi zombies can sometimes float, or alternately sink their feet deep into the earth beneath them.
10. Nazi zombies are so blind and slow that you can basically just run past them, even in large hordes.
11. Colourful, Ray Harryhausen-esque cyclopes sometimes like to hang out with Nazi Zombies, for reasons known only to themselves (and, perhaps, the zombies).
12. Getting lost in a maze of completely identical-looking cavern tunnels while dodging innumerable zoned-out Nazi Zombies is not nearly as fun as it sounds, and may even prompt a player to quit a game long before its completion.
13. It is somehow possible to make a game even WORSE than Ivan VS Nazi Zombies (which was so sh*t, it got taken off Steam altogether).
Verdict: 0.1/10.

I had previously labeled "Ivan VS Nazi Zombies" (no longer on Steam) as the worst Steam game I had ever experienced, but this.. this takes the cake now. There is simply NO excuse for any person having this little pride in something they craft, much less try and sell. And to Steam, this should be the new measuring stone on how pathetic your non-existent quality control is these days with Steam Direct.
Game Guru games are never good mainly because of the impossibility to make enemies with even decent AI and pathfinding. But when you have a developer just pasting in free default zombie assets all over the maps, not even caring if they are 95% buried in the ground, this is the result.
My Score = The look you'd see on any persons face if you placed a pile of maggot infested diarrhea in front of them to eat. Thus, why this game not only makes the 3rd title so far in my new MISS series on my YT channel, but why this game is the biggest P.O.S. game I've yet experienced in my life. The dreaded E.T. game from the old Atari 2600 is a brilliant masterpiece compared to this toxic turd of a game.
OMG.... This is one of the worst and most pathetic pieces of trash I have ever had the misfortune of trying. While I know this "developer" is terrible, this was a 3D game and I thought I'd give it a try to see if maybe they can pull this off since it wasn't the regular worthless shovelware 2D garbage they pump out.
Boy was I wrong. This is an entirely new level of extreme incompetence. I tried multiple times to record a video but unfortunately this thing runs so poorly my recording software didn't want to have anything to do with it and refused to work. I took screenshots but they don't really show how shockingly terrible and pathetic this truly is.
First off, this is a game guru piece of trash. Not just any game guru piece of trash though, this actually might be the worst game guru garbage ever dumped onto Steam. This actually makes other game guru games look decent..
At the very start you begin in a cell where the floor textures are glitching out at every new mouse position. When you change your view by even a pixel the floor textures will change and glich all over. You pick up rocks and open a poorly made door that slides into a solid wall. Outside the cell is a guard who instantly shoots you on sight. Making it past that guard you will encounter entire hallways of glitched out floor texures. Not only that though, the lighting is glitching out as well, certain areas light up and go dark at various distances. There are sections where you can see through the wall where the textures do not touch and so it's just an open space.
The enemies are practically braindead and have some of the worst A.I. I have ever seen. The enemies are also deaf and blind. They won't respond to you killing their friends directly in front of them if you are just around the corner or hear the gunshots. I saw enemies stuck in walls, one of them had the jail bars passing through their entire body. The enemies will just stand there doing nothing like statues until you shoot them and then they move a little bit.
Your guns feel horrible to shoot. The recoil is rediculous and you don't even put any bullet holes in walls or anywhere when shooting. Nothing about this game is fun at all.
After forcing myself to play through the first level I made it to the 2nd level. On the 2nd level you start out in a generic tunnel area with low quality rock textures all around. Ahead you can see a number of zombies, most of which are glitching out like mad. There are some teleporting around because the game doesn't work properly and has shoddy programming. Half of the enemies are stuck in the floor and they are ALL facing away from you. After firing a shot, they start running backwards at you and attacking away from you, while hitting you.
I made it past some of them to see more zombies in surrounding rooms stuck in floors as well, also glitching out and at this point I said enough is enough. I turned it off and I am never turning this on ever again. This is quite possibly the worst game guru game ever made and it is definitely the worst game I have ever seen in my life. I'm not over exagerating either, the level of incompetance on the part of the developer is a whole new level of shockingly pathetic.
I've never seen such lack of care or respect for anything in my life. I would suggest this "developer" get out of the games industry entirely as they are unqualified and do not have what it takes and have absolutely no idea what they are doing. This is unbelievably terrible in ways you can not even imagine. I'm just sitting here shacking my head and am in total shock. I wish I had video footage to show you because I doubt you've ever seen anything this bad before.
How is this even for sale on Steam? Does the developer have no dignity or self respect at all? Why would they attach their name to this? I really don't understand.
Game Guru game with no style or effort.
Locations are boring.
Enemies clip through the floors and walls, they also shoot through walls and doors.
No music or dialogue, just a barely functioning map with enemies who have no ability to move sprayed haphazardly around.
