BLANCPAIN GT SERIES

ACC has done justice to the GT3 category. There's simply so much thought and effort put in to replicate the authentic experience, may it be audio design, track feel or car handling. I simply love the way that the GT3 car handles in ACC and no other games comes close to this physics. Immersive. Enjoyable. Unique.
ACC is not built for controllers and that's a bummer. Despite changing configs, controller play feels off, sudden, and not smooth.
Shadowing its excellence in core gameplay is the intense lack of systems that guides you or rewards you between races. Career mode doesn't have a leaderboard and this lack of a meta system really reduces the joy between intense sessions.
Despite this, strongly recommended if you enjoy driving GT3 cars. This is the pinnacle of GT3 simulation
Had Assetto Corsa before this and definitely a jump from that only have 10 hours in it but such a good game for sim racing
My first sim racing experience at first it was tough now I have improved a bit. Have been practising with AI through which I have learned a lot it needs time and practice to improve in this game. It is fun though.
I'm a controller player, and previously my only option was Forza motorsport and the controller steering in that game is the most awful thing I have ever experienced, randomly locking your steering input at like 5° forcing you off track, inconsistent and super snappy counter steering etc
This game however, gives you the ability to customize alot and gives you full control of your car with a controller albeit higher effort and difficulty. With some time and persistence however, once you get a hang of it, makes for a super satisfying in depth GT3/GT2/GT4/TC racing experience
Playing Forza I'm constantly questioning wether I made a mistake or if the game is just not working
Playing this game I can actually tell that I made a mistake so I can improve instead of wasting my energy and sanity fighting my trust in the game reliability
This is one of the best sim racing games out there. I will totally recommend this game. DLC should be got on a sale. Must have DLCs are International GT, 2023 world champ, 24hrs and 2020 for Imola. This game also looks and feels amazing to play. All cars are very high detailed. I don't think games like GT7 can hold a candle to this. I play on a controller and it's amazing.

Has a very nice physics engine, very fun, ai can be goofy sometimes but its pretty good for the most part.
Great racing game. Runs smoothly and seems very polished. The dlc is a fair price and its good. I just bout almost all of it for like $35 and i still havent tried everything yet. 10/10
This is a great game to practice racing on (especially if you have vr and a sim rig!). I haven't played online much but its a great refresher and practice for real world racing

Like the game. Found a good page about braking settings as it is really hard to brake 100% with a logitech wheel.

This is one of the best Sim Racing experiences I have ever had. I have had so much fun learning and developing my skills and becoming a better GT 2,3, and 4 car racer. This game can be extremely user friendly and welcoming to racers who are coming from Arcade racing games. I personally cam from games like, Formula One 2023, and all of the Forza Horizon games and even though I am still learning, I am having a lot of fun. Some suggestions that I would tell a new player is to watch some YouTube videos on some basic knowledge of the game first and then you can dive into the game more thoroughly and exploring more and more of what this game has to offer. Although this game is mainly recommended for playing with a racing wheel, mine has not come in yet, I am still having a lot of fun playing of controller and I am still some what competitive and I can keep up with some. I would 1,000% recommend to someone who is trying to get into the Sim Racing world of FUN!
If you like thinking about driving a race car this sim is great because you don't get to feel like you're driving the car with how bad ACC's force feedback is.

This is a very good game but it can add more things it is realistic but very hard

Handling looks realistic and enjoable, cars behave like proper sport vehicles and not as overloaded school buses. Yes, it takes a while to get used to the car and the track, but I found it very pleasant to play from the first minutes.
Couple of downsides:
- the game has a lot of DLCs/paid content. And the problem is that in the menu you can't see what is available or locked. You select a car from the list only to find out that a purchase is required.
- some tutorials would be great for people not familiar with GT racing. How to go into pitlane properly, what are the fines/stop timers, etc. In the start of the career mode, the tutorial is so short it almost useless. I think youtube tutorials could help with that.
Overall, I recommend this game with pleasure :)
Very steep learning curve. Each car varies in maneuverability so running different cars on different setups, on different tracks and on different conditions make this game very technical. Hard but rewarding in the long run. Most realistic driving game for PC at the moment.
It's a good game for online simracing. The physics might not compared to I-racing but that doesn't really matter as I-racing requires a monthly subscription service and who has the money for that? Not me. Anyways the games good, get it if you're into simracing and have a set up and home. Nothing much to be said.
Being stressed out with shooter games, I wanted something else to scratch my itch of competitiveness. Assetto Corsa not only scratches, but does a burn-out, donut and straight up crashes on that itch.
Maybe I just should take a shower.
I love this game, it is cheep, and great quality for the price compared to the other racing sims, such as Iracing. However, if you are expecting an Iracing-like experience, of mostly competitive racing and good standards. So if you don't want to spend the money that Iracing requires, ACC is definitely your path, since it is (in my opinion) the second most realistic sim.
Currently without competition as far as GT racing is concerned. The physics, graphics, fluidity of the competition, the very organization of the races and their scoring and evaluation of the players works and looks perfect. To recommend without shame!! There is a lot of similar content that I won't list them here, but luckily or luckily they are not competitors, at least for now. Complete with Assetto Corsa and soon with EVO, it will be one invincible whole, one package that if you don't have it, you're not even a fan of sim racing.

Brilliant Game, Open Lobby ist basicly a survival. Drive carefully and completely get punted into the shadow realm next corner because somethinks brakes are decoration or he thinks hes playing Forza.

In my opinion it is a way better experience than AC. I am saying this as a fan of non-moded games. The career is interesting and the online gameplay is fantastic. FFB feels amazing in comparasion to all the other sims I have played. I have a g920 and catching a slide in this game feels way easier with the FFB. Recommend it all the way.
Can't get enough of this game. Top notch realism despite it not being too taxing on system resources. Very smooth gameplay.
This game is pretty great with a controller, but it’s even better with a steering wheel. You can have a blast playing offline or online, though I’d suggest starting with beginner servers and playing offline first to get the hang of things. I’ve done multiplayer races with an Xbox One controller, and using assists like steering assist, higher traction control, and ABS really helps. With that setup, I’ve managed to snag top 5 finishes on beginner-friendly servers pretty easily with consistency as the key (since yeah, beginner friendly are not exactly fast and me also includes that). Honestly, it’s no surprise GamepadFX in Assetto Corsa is going for ACC-style assists—they make a big difference.
One of my all time favorites. Great physics, and graphics, although it takes a decent gpu to look good at a reasonable fps. Anyone that likes GT racing should love this
For GT3 ACC is the gold standard really, its not perfect* but definently recommended.
Its not the best for VR, so if you want a VR sim look elsewhere. AMS2, iRacing are great for VR.
* Braking is off. Check Daniel Morad review of ACC on YT. He is a great pro driver and has the information better than I can explain.
As i continue play this game I am starting to notice plenty of reasons to play it and learn new things. The first thing that comes to mind is the overall experience and that is the best part; personally. The experience is great and after I started driving a car that i like I was told by community members that it might be too "powerful" for me. So i chose a different car and it ended up being the best thing for me to do. I know its only 25 hrs at this time that i have on the game, but learning things like this from the community make me enjoy the game a lot more. Next is the sim as in the wheel and pedals. I have a Logitech G923 and I thought it wouldn't be "good enough" to compete with other racers, but that is not the case. I have been able to keep up with people that have way fancier setups than me and I've been able to pass them on the track which makes this game so much fun. The fact that how much i paid to get the experience had led me to be better than others is GREAT. Obviously I would like to upgrade just because of convenience, but currently this is plenty. Also my favorite part is when there is clean racing it is the BEST. When you go side by side on a curve and then overtake the guy cleanly and the cycle repeats with the same person, it is just the best feeling i get when I play this game. .....Don't forget that this game actually takes practice, but after the hard-work it'll definitely start to show and that's what will make the game great.

It's a challenge, but once you get the hang of the driving and stop spinning out around corners, it's addicting. I love it.
Assetto Corsa Competizione: A Mixed Bag for Racing Fans
Assetto Corsa Competizione is a game with a lot of potential but struggles to fully deliver a satisfying experience. On one hand, it offers highly realistic driving physics and a detailed focus on GT racing, which will appeal to hardcore sim enthusiasts. Probably the only racing sim with a decent career, and somewhat competitive AI.
350 hrs in, and for me , as of early Dec 2024 this is the best overall experience I have in sim racing !! The way ALL the Porsche 911 derivatives drive and sound is fantastic . I am basing this short report on these as I don't drive anything else , including real life .. I will also say ,I am a VR guy only ., and as an example of an offline grid with 23 ish cars it works well and very smooth 90 fps . Not the latest or top of the range gear. Odyssey plus . 11900 K , and 4070 ti super , no overclocks !! settings all high , in game and 130 on both steam ss , and vr pixel density .
Its a great game , but its not as fun the original AC. The game play becomes stale after a while. Unless you are into GT racing. One that bothered is car customisation options are not as good. If you only buy the base game you will be stuck with nurburgring and brands hatch and Monza.
Insanely good kinda like iracing but cheaper and me personally way better (suggestion you buy all the dlcs)
Really good looking sim and the cars handle great. online racing via LFM is also a game changer. Must buy if you like GT3/GT4 racing
3x YES! its the best racing game i've ever played! Driving model, physics, etc... i'm aboslutely sure that if you are a player that love racing and if buy this game. You definitely wouldn't be disappointed. but in regards i dont have any experience in IRacing.
amount of idiots in this game is just crazy. Even on servers with SA higher than 85 there is always a unskilled guy who just ruins someone race. There is no penalties for crashes, so u can just kill everyone and easily win a race. This game playable only on LFM or against bots, otherwise its just waste of time. For that many years the game exist developers COULDNT create at least BASIC penalty system for online racing game.
It's like Assetto Corsa but on a better engine and with better graphics and better UI and better pretty much everything. Car variety is obviously less than regular Assetto Corsa but honestly if you bought the one game SPECIFICALLY FOCUSED on GT racing and expected to be driving F1 cars then honestly you've got bigger problems than waiting for Steam to refund the game. Unlike Assetto Corsa this game also doesn't make me consistently rage quit because I do in fact do real life things and don't have thousands of hours to devote to racing games. I use the racing line and I play with automatic transmission and as a result it's really easy to just play for short half an hour sessions without having to spend ages learning braking references and all that nerd crap. You also don't need a wheel or anything to enjoy it; I play with a PS4 controller and of all the racing games I've played it's the one that is the nicest to play with a controller.

For me it's a bit hard to learn the setup for the cars after playing Assetto Corsa. But the feel for the cars in ACC feels so good. just need to practice some more

Great game, lots of great tracks, and so many different kinds of cars to drive. Its my go to sim racing game
Successful Race-Sim, that will give you the feeling of driving a real GT car, you´ll have difficulty trying to keep a pace at the track with other players or AIs. With career mode, multiplayer and singleplayer options, it's a pleasurable experience.
Fantastic sound design, decent vehicle and track selection, and good (IMO) physics. Online lobbies are the wild west though, even with SA restrictions. Fairer penalties would make a huge difference to the quality of racing. The AI is reasonably quick though (for a non-alien driver such as myself), which somewhat makes up for it.
