WHAT THE GOLF?

It’s a really innovative game even for non golfers. Every level feels new and is fun. The only thing thats bad is the ten hour Achievement because i was finished with the game before i got that.

What the Golf? runs on one simple rule: Everything is golf. And when I say everything, I mean EVERYTHING. Soccer is golf, bowling is golf, driving is golf, Mario is golf, even Guitar Hero is golf. And that's just a small taste of what this game has in store. If you like off-the-wall humor, this game is for you. Interest in golfing (or golf video games) is not required.

I beat this game on switch and purchased it on steam years later to play on my steam deck. WHAT THE GOLF? is arcadey and fun. The game keeps you guessing, and the holes change in style and design very often. Giving you lots of variety, where it never feels boring. A perfect game to relax to and not think too much - although there is some levels that will definitely challenge you. I am a bit iffy on if I would recommend it at the $19.99 price, but it is often for sale for $7 or less - I think the game is worth it at that price.

An absolute blast of a puzzle(?) game that I would recommend to anyone. Somewhat short, but well worth the price, especially on sale. Some of the most pure unadulterated fun I have had with a game in a while.

I hate golf but I love this game.

WHAT THE GOLF? is a very silly golf game all about different ways of getting something in a golfing hole and it preforms its joke very well 10/10 flawless game.

SPOILERS! Duh...

I decided to 100% this game for some reason. The achievements outside of Story-Mode are a pain.

You have to play the game on 18 different days, play the game on all 7 days of the week, 100% an Episode, knock over most trees in another, adjust a small thing in the Episode you need to 100%, there's a lot.

As for the Story Mode 100%? A bit less painful.

You need to play every level at least 3 times, with a few exceptions. You also have to get secret relics hidden in the map, there aren't many but at least one is annoying to get.

If you wanna keep your sanity, do a Computer a day. For some worlds, it's very hard, but for others, pretty easy. The final boss thankfully only requires you to beat them once. Some levels aren't hard to 100%, but more tedious.

After you beat the Story-Mode and Episodes, you'll still need to do a bunch of Daily Golf levels. There's also a secret Thanksgiving-themed level set. There's no indication how you get to it, but you just hit the turkey on the left side of the hub world fast.

Game itself? 9/10. The 100%? 7/10. Don't get me wrong, I had fun, but the 100% got repetitive quite fast.

With unique twists on each level and entertaining references, this game has truly made a lasting impression on me.

You might think it’s just about hitting things other than golf balls. But oh boy, give it an hour and you’ll find yourself completely immersed and amused.

This game is a ton of fun both single player and two player split-screen. My four year old son and I play it together and he has an absolute blast. I highly recommend this for parents looking for a game to play with their kids either versus mode or together taking turns.

A very lovely game. Brimming with originality. Haven't laughed so much in quite a while.

One thing I hate is the "par" mechanic. Anything that asks me to win a course with X amount of hits or a time limit is annoying. Thankfully, "X amount of hits" takes around 4-5 times of trial and error to get right.

What the Golf? is simply hilarious. Not even sure how to categorise the game, but it surely is fun to play. There’s also a two-player mode, in case you want to enjoy the game in a face-off.

This is a great game, and I enjoyed finishing it. However, there are some bonus levels that are just tediously difficult and that I did not enjoy playing, and the final world of the main game was just so weird and off-putting, it really left a bad mark on a otherwise great game. 6.5/10

It's silly and fun and keep catching me by surprise. Even when I think I know exactly what to expect, I'm thrown a curveball!

A very wacky, physics-based game brimming with creativity. The devs have crafted hundreds of goofy scenarios around the central theme of (not) golf. I'm not usually a fan of "silly" games, but this one managed to get a few chuckles out of me, and I had fun. The main campaign doesn't overstay its welcome, and for those that really enjoy it, there are free expansions and daily activities.

Обычное прохождение - нормальное. Но прохождение на платину это кошмар. Игра не сложная, не ставит задачу найти ненаходимое. Нет, ради ачивки Most Daily Golf ты должен заходить в игру раз в сутки на протяжении двух недель и играть в одни и те же уровни. Но в этом хоть какой-то смысл есть. Затем перед тобой ачивка Ten hours! которая заставляет играть в основную компанию 10 часов при том что игра проходится на 100% за 3-6 часов в нормальном темпе. То есть по мнению студии интересный геймплей это запустить игру на фон и делать ничего. Нет реиграбельности, нет контента, ты просто должен крутить игре онлайн половину псевдо геймплея.

i forgot to make a review my bad. this game has so much content it was worth the money to me. from original to meme levels. there is no i beat the game cause the levels are endless. enjoy some "golf" fun and never get bored if you like games with endless content.

Fun little minigames that can get very creative/surprising at times.
Lots of homages to other known games like Super Mario, Metal Gear or Undertale and many more.

100% main campaign and the bonus episodes took about 8h to complete.

Very dry jokes, but if you have a good feeling for dad jokes you will LOVE this game, its pretty fun!
