Tech Support: Error Unknown is an adventure game with simulation and puzzle mechanics, which places you in front of a virtual computer. As a tech support specialist new to the job, use a wide array of computer software to solve customer issues or choose to manipulate programs for personal gain. Hack your system to unlock its full potential, GPS track lost phones, scan profiles to blackmail customers, or simply propose they reboot.
While on the job, you discover a conflict between your corporate employer and an anonymous rogue hacktivist group, trying to take them down. Will you climb the corporate ladder, secretly join the hacktivists, or help the police expose them? Alternatively, will you pursue a more personal agenda?

A ton of fun, can get boring but good for all the completionists out there
Even for 2019 I expect a cleaner UI and interface. Gameplay is like from the 90s. I dont recoomend this game.
Very fun, with a surprising number of paths. There's only so many customer interactions so it does get repetitive, it's really outside of the customers that's interesting - picking a side to work for.

Great concept and great execution! Not too complicated, but it puts your multitasking skills to the test. Some things could use a little more instruction, but overall isn't too hard to figure out. It has an intriguing storyline and makes time fly.

the base gameplay loop is very dull, and the fact that if you miss a single thing you're stuck in a nothing playthrough (with no hint thats happening other than radio silence from any of the plot-progressers) until the end is definitely a choice...

You don't have time to read as you get spam by everything during your "job time". Don't like it.
Game has repeating dialogue with callers (as in they all say the same thing), it takes forever to do anything, you can't do save states so each time you get one ending you have to play through the entire game again to get a different one and the choices don't make sense in certain contexts. Like someone could call about getting millions of dollars and you respond with "How did it happen" only for them to not answer the question and act as though you asked an actual relevant inquiry. The windows are too big and chunky, take too much of the screen, the game thinks PC's have a standard of 2gb RAM which is not even the minimum normal office computers come with.
Essentially I had fun on my first playthough, got tired on my second and by my 3rd I just got so irritated by how slow everything takes or how clunky the widgets are to asks questions or provide solutions that I just can't play it anymore. I don't want to play through the entire game again just because I decided to by a house :/
Tldr; game gets repetitive fast and becomes a chore rather than fun after first playthrough.
Overall score: 4/10, there are other games that do much more with this kind of premise, like 911 operator where your character has a voice and doesn't seem like a robot. I can only suggest this on discount.
Kamala yelled at me for offering to service the device that was under warranty. Claiming "the customer had warranty, therefor you should have told them we cant fix their problem".
The clock on the PC and the call clock are different in how seconds are counted.
Work days are very short. 3-4 calls.
Then the in-game PC gets BSOD every day, sometimes multiple times with no way to resolve.
Needs work. Doubt it will get it.
