Very satisfying road builder. I love that all the levels feed into each other

I love the concept and the gameplay… but I gotta say, it doesn’t feel like a finished product. I don’t mind the graphics and the lack of music; I’m talking about weird things like when I have an overpass waiting for cars below to move through the intersection. Just little things like that make this game hard to really dive into in my opinion. But overall a good game! I’ve enjoyed it

This is an incredibly fun and addicting puzzle game with a charming style. Unfortunately, there has been an ongoing issue for mac users (including myself) where a message pops up saying that 'the file is damaged and cannot be opened' when trying to play the game. For anybody struggling with this, I was able to fix it by going into System Settings, going to 'Security ' and pressing 'open file anyway' when the message popped up. Hope this helps for anyone else who has this issue! I highly recommend this game and it is worth every dollar.

I love this game.
The super simple gameplay loop is totally addicting and easy to pick up. The game starts and closes very quickly and is only 5 bucks.
Dont buy this game on sale like me, you cheap f*ck. Just pay 2 € more.

One of the better, more chill and yet more engaging puzzle games on steam. Added a sizeable content patch more than doubling the amount of levels a few months ago, which also added a lot of QoL. Game isn't perfect and not being able to delete roads isn't ideal but especially with the new undo button it's a lot of fun for only a couple of euros.

Pick it up if you like puzzle games you can keep optimizing forever

'"Freeways" is damaged and can't be opened. You should move it to the bin.'

Uninstalling it doesn't help - it's just broken.

These things happen, I'll swap this review for something about the game if I actually get to play it again some time soon.

I want to like the game but find the drawing to be somewhat aggravating due to distance it jumps when changing bridge height. I am also experiencing multiple technical issues one of which is the game outright crashing periodically (no idea what is causing it) and the other being that randomly my roads will randomly sprout a bridge to some other spot after i connect the road somewhere else.

It's a simple game. Connect roads. Prevent traffic jams. It's SO addictive, you just keep wanting to make a better layout and make the roads more efficient. And try the next map and the next..Worth playing!

Relaxing puzzle game, grabbed it for 3,49 euro on sale well worth the money.

I like the freehand drawing aspect, very intuitive and easy. Graphics & sound remind of the 80s, super basic but I like it.

I can't judge complete game difficulty yet but so far it's easy/mid difficulty, didn't get stuck on any maps.

really simple and really fun challenge! When i played city skylines I remember getting slightly into designing all the freeways but then getting frustrated with it because it was a little too complex and cumbersome to edit. That same goal of designing freeways but without an entire city simulator attached turned out to be way funner for me. (There's still part of me that wishes i could be one of those sickos on the city skylines subreddit designing the most bat shit crazy creative road systems ever)
Good game!

Once you stop trying to make it look pretty or realistic, it really comes into its own as a puzzler.

I wonder if the point being made, that automated cars require just as much if not more sprawling roadways was on purpose or not.

Really fun game to try to attempt and experiment making a well-functioning interchange!
The controls tho occasionally feel a bit hard to control especially for merge-ins and offramps.

Love this game. Atari vibes go hard. Surprisingly challenging puzzle design that teaches real-world engineering techniques. Besides the full wipe tool, game is missing an eraser tool for individual roads. Practically a steal at its price range. I think I lost sleep over this. Is it morning already?

It's fun and chilled, good way to past time.

A bare bones puzzle game about building roads with a limited budget so vehicles can get where they need to go without bringing traffic to a standstill. Use your cursor to draw one lane roads and overpasses. That's it. Easy at first. Surprisingly hard later.

When you complete a level, it zooms out to the overworld, showing how every level is interconnected into one massive traffic laden city. It's satisfying to see your progress and replay levels in an attempt to one up your old score.

Shouldn't have added that undo button, I used to laugh at reviews from people who don't often torture themselves for fun.

Graphics and sounds of the game offer strong competition to any game released in 1982. The game loop is great and I am having a lot of fun trying to figure out the best layouts.

Hell yes, great little game. Simplicity is the key. But expect to bang your head on the desk once in a while.

This game is among the most fun games I have played, especially after the update that added the undo button. Note that cars always merge, I would have liked options for priority and give way, but then it wouldn't be Freeways anymore.

This game is crack. And super addictive. I feel like theres RCA cables plugged directly into my brain. I feel like that war on drugs tv commercial with that dude and the fried egg is my brain. This game needs a CRT filter option. Totally fried 100% dopamine 100% NES vibes 100% recommended.

In all honesty I love this game but it no longer works on Mac showing an error message when I try to open it. Mostly leaving this review so the developer sees it as I'm unsure of how to notify them. Will delete once the issue is resolved or adjust to positive.

The best possible sit down and chill game ever. No stakes, no stress, just solve the puzzle and grow the map.

I forgot I had bought this game, the refund window has closed, there are green lines all over the screen that makes it to where
I cant play it. i know its a good game but with this bug its unplayable.

Played it now for 20 hours and I loved it. Learned a lot about on- and offramps. Roundabouts and traffic flow.
I feel like after a while it gets a bit repetitive .. i guess that's the nature of this game but I loved it anyways.
Would recommend for sure.
