I really do like this game because of the simple, yet realistic complexity of it, but there's one thing that bothers me to no end: The AI's reactions on realistic mode outside of the real players. It's entirely too defensive for it to actually be realistic. Real players do not hit as many lobs and serve and volleys as this AI does. Yes, it's challenging and that should be the goal but it's incredibly frustrating having to hit multiple smashes/jump smashes, and not actually engage in points because the AI is already at the net ready to cut off your angles.
I can see if the AI was spamming topspin shots hit at wide angles and to difficult positions, because that definitely mirrors real tennis, and it does do that, but not as much as it hits those god forsaken lobs. Its responses in rallies are too perfect and hitting an ace feels like capturing a rare Pokemon. I'm gonna see if modifying the attributes will help, but I really think it's built into AI's mechanics :(
once you get the hang of the game its a lot of fun wish there were more than 10 players online so I could play pvp instead of ai but love mechanics and evertyhing about this game
A fantastic Tennis Simulator. If you like to play tennis in real life you will like the gameplay, it is so fluid and fun to play. It is not like any other arcadey tennis games on the market. It has a steep learning curve at the beginning but once you get a grip the gameplay is so satisfying on hard difficulty.
Pros :
- Satisfying Gameplay.
- Extremely addictive once overcome the beginning hurdle.
- AI is smart on higher difficulty so its feel like you are playing a real game.
- Ball, Net & Court physics are amazing.
- Challenging Online matches.
Cons:
- Outdated graphics.
- No Doubles.
- No WTA.
- Career mode not in depth like TE4.
- Player movement feels a bit weighty at times.
Hopefully the dev will continue to improve the game.
Its the best and most fun tennis game out there!

Is there a mod to modify attributes in Full Ace Tennis Simulator to exceed the limit of 100? Since it seems capped at 100, is there a way or a mod to go beyond this limit? Thanks for your answers!
It's a brilliant game with amazing gameplay, and hopefully we'll have amazing animations in the future
Very challanging tennis game, had some really good time with it
It seems like recent updates to this game have ruined it in my opinion. Volleying seems impossible now with the AI hitting much faster and unrealistic shots as soon as you approach the net. Movement for both the player and the AI is extremely clunky. The game also seems to randomly decide whether or not your ball will be out. You can hit the most perfect shot and sometimes it'll go in, but, seemingly at random, sometimes it'll completely miss. If this game is on sale maybe buy it, but for the most part there is still not a good tennis game.
Might not be the flashiest tennis game graphics and sound wise...but still has great charm. The HUGE plus is that this is the most realistic video game of tennis and simulation of real tennis you can play. NO big name console version comes close to the real satisfying play you get here.. There are NO exploits...no go to move that you can cheat with....only true competition where every volley feels unique.
Make it gosh darn easier my goodness.
A 'no-nonsense' tennis 'simulation' centred around attributes tables and luck... the jokes write themselves.
