Good little puzzle game

it looks like they reduced the price of this game from $5 to $1.99. This makes a big difference as I beat this game in less than 45 minutes without even trying. To me, the big con of this game is there's no ending. I can't tell if the explorer is trying to get to the heart of the temple or if he's trying to leave. However, while a story is nice, it's not essential. Ultimately it comes down to the puzzles. And yes, the puzzles are fun. I would even venture to say they're 1.99 fun. BUT! The puzzles are a bit simplistic. Also, the lower price point is discouraging as it seems to indicate that there will be no further development of this game. It is what it is, take it or leave it. All in all, this is disappointing as this game has potential to be one of the better moving block puzzles out there. To be honest, I'm torn about the game as it is and the game as it could be. Ultimately, I have to rate the game as it is, and the lower price doesn't give much hope that there will be further development. I STILL will be recommending the game despite the lack of story, lack of ending (you just finish the last puzzle, there's no indication the game is done) and rather simplistic game play because *I* feel (and yes, this is a judgement call here, take this review with a grain of salt) this game is still worth the 1.99 asking price. Lord knows I've paid more for less on Steam. I do hold out hope that if this game starts to make some money the developer will give this game the attention it rightly deserves. Oh, and it does say that the interface is only in English, but really it's like 4 options, (I think: Continue, Restart, Level Select, and Quit). Realistically, you can read any language in the world and figure out the menu for this game.
it has like 30min of content, less if you're good at puzzles
Refund sadly denied
So, the game is incomplete, which is a shame, because I rather like the 20 levels currently available. You get a quick glimpse of the 3 main mechanics in the trailer. It's got a pleasing visual style, sound FX are nice, crisp, and minimal, and the soundtrack is serviceable. I've never understood anyone who cares about settings/options in a game like this, so I didn't even check what's available. Achievements are all popping, and I didn't run into any bugs (except: when you beat the last level the game just sort of.... sits there...)
If the $1.99 for purchase were going towards continued, active development, I'd say the pricetag is OK as long as you see it as "backing" the project. But, I can't tell if the game is still in development or not (in which case the "Early Access" tag could be misleading). I got it on sale for $0.99, and while it only offered me around 30 minutes of gameplay, it wasn't a complete cake walk. A few puzzles had me scratching my head a minute, and I'm happy with what I paid.
I do hope it actually gets finished sometime, because there's a lot of potential. If the Dev could enable a level editor for the Workshop, I could see the game gaining a little more traction while it sits in limbo...
Edit: just noticed this is early access so of course it seems incomplete. Will be interesting to see what is added. shows promise so far.
It's very short but worth playing if you only pay a dollar. It does feel well made, just sort of incomplete.
For a game that was recently released, it wasn't that bad. A lot of the levels and puzzles are extremly challenging. I was really impressed with the creativity behind a lot of these puzzles as I struggled to solve a few of them. If you are a puzzle person, this game is for you as it makes you solve them in a creative way.
The only problem and it's kind of major is the amount of levels it has. It has 20 levels which means that you can finish the games in around half an hour. Which is an issue

It's a nice puzzle concept and the game itself is fun. But unfortunately at the moment I can't recommend anyone buying this for $5 as there's only 20 stages. Depending on how much time used to pass the harder stages, you'll probably finish the game somewhere between 15-30 minutes.
I know it's in early access and new stages may be added in future, but with all the free and cheap puzzle games around, $5 for this is just way too much even if the content amount triples. IMO it should be at $1.99 tops.
