В этом продолжении популярной тактической игры The Red Solstice вам предстоит разрабатывать собственные стратегии и применять их в реальном времени для выполнения боевых заданий!
Приветствуем!
После падения Земли прошло 117 лет, и перед вами стоит крайне важная задача. Вас пробудили, чтобы вы возглавили «Ячейку» — секретное спецподразделение, созданное для борьбы с нашествием мутантов, которые стали жертвами вируса STROL. Вам с отрядом предстоит прорваться сквозь ряды мутантов и найти лекарство от опасного вируса, который ставит под угрозу существование всего человечества.
Чтобы выжить в этом враждебном мире и решить судьбу целой планеты, вам необходимо будет выполнить ряд захватывающих боевых задач, каждая из которых потребует стратегической смекалки и быстрого принятия тактических решений в режиме реального времени. Игра доступна как в одиночном, так и в совместном режиме для 8 игроков. Red Solstice 2: Survivors сочетает в себе напряжённый экшн с элементами клаустрофобии и тщательное стратегическое планирование, что в совокупности расширит ваше представление о научной фантастике.
КЛЮЧЕВЫЕ ОСОБЕННОСТИ
- В Red Solstice 2: Survivors используется классическая схема управления для стратегий в реальном времени. Она предоставляет игроку больше свободы и контроля, а также помогает обучаться планированию, импровизации и исполнению миссий.
- Стратегия на выживание. В Red Solstice 2: Survivors вам предстоит выполнять тактические боевые задания, при этом постоянно пытаясь избежать заражения вирусом STROL. Выполняя обширную кампанию, вы исследуете всю планету с единственной целью — спасти человечество.
- Исследование технологий. Исследуйте и улучшайте новые технологии, а затем применяйте их на поле боя.
- Тактические бои в режиме реального времени. Ведите бои в реальном времени, адаптируясь к ситуации и меняя стратегию на ходу.
- Боевые задания. Выполняйте боевые задания самостоятельно или вместе с другими игроками и сдерживайте распространение заражённой биомассы. Распоряжайтесь ресурсами, исследуйте обширную карту и освобождайте захваченные врагом территории ради спасения всего человечества.
- Три типа заданий. Более 15 основных и 20 второстепенных заданий, подразделяющихся на три типа: исследование, скрытное прохождение и выживание.
- Уникальные классы. Выбирайте один из шести доступных классов: штурмовик, подрывник, огневая поддержка, снайпер, медик или разведчик. Каждому из них присущ уникальный стиль игры.
- Совместная игра для 8 игроков. Присоединяйтесь к кампаниям и боевым заданиям других игроков или же приглашайте их в свою игру. Спасайте планету совместными усилиями!
- Смертоносное оружие. Используйте оружие массового поражения, чтобы уничтожить всё живое на поле боя или превратить в пепел целые колонии.
- Биологическое заражение. Предотвратите распространение заражённой биомассы, которая взаимодействует с окружающей средой и игроками.

bought this game.. super fun.... honestly feels like getting your getting sexually assaulted.. (in total i would have 300 or so hours but i have this game across 3 platforms so yeah) if you wanna suffer for a few hours as the insurgency go ahead.... 9/10 did not know i was a masochist.. (the AI are total retards as well at times)
I really enjoy this game, though it is not for the faint of heart unless you play on easy mode and with low infestation. This game is incredibly complex and definitely has a couple bugs but this genre is a long time favorite of mine dating back to a warcraft 3 custom game called NOTD/Undead Assault. I encourage people to try out all sorts of builds and ways of playing the game.
The only downside is the game doesnt have many players left and is best played in my opinion in a large team of 8. But its still a great fun solo experiance. I hope more people support these sort of games because there just isnt anything quite like them. Thank you red solstice team and 505 studios for your hard work on this masterpiece!
Not a fan
Devs have my respect for this game..
this game will freeze up constantly. it gets very boring quickly and on top of that youll get like 500 med paks and anti venoms when you need explosives and vice versa. this game needs to go back to early acess and seriously develop what looked like a good game. DO NOT BUY EVEN ON SALE.
I've come back to this game several times hoping that things would be better, but no. The tutorial is essentially "let's throw all the infos at you at once via dialogs and clicking continue and we hope you remember it all". Even the initial mission, which is essentially somewhat of a tutorial gets it wrong. One of the first choices is RTS or WASD controls. I've tried both, but upon choosing WASD the tutorial proceeds to show RTS info - which is all wrong for WASD mode.
And then there's all the negative stuff in the other reviews I can't be bothered to repeat here.
Playing this game gives me the nostalgia of a custom map called NOTD (Night of the dead) from warcraft III the frozen throne.
You and your squad are task to investigate, explore, convoy and all sorts of random objectives every time you start a new mission.
Team work is required, position is required. Imagine it as a realistic tactical shooter from birds eye view.
Alone you are basically risky it all. A bite wound? A scratch? It may be infected! run to a medic and pray he has anti venom.
Game is great. Better with friends. Playing with random people might enrage you as they do not know the consequences of playing this game like an arcade top down shooter.

Personally, I would play this game alot more if it had proper Gamepad support. Other than that, I enjoyed the game.
Till it has (or ever?) have Gamepad support I give it: 4/10.
it is simply not fun. walking simulator with guns, repeated maps, side mission, super slow walking units. all class feel more or less the same, all guns can be used by all classes.

Well if it actually launched I could tell you what its like. chefs kiss.
This could be an awesome game. The graphics and mechanics are great. However as many of you have mentioned, the spawn rate and spawn centres are insane. I tried it on easy and i still got mobbed and killed. I have tried to attack spawn centres and still died from an unending deluge of enemies. When you are revived, they sit around and then kill you again. Fix this and the ratings will get way better.

Boring, linear, buggy.
Getting permastuck in terrain is common thing.
Inventory darkened for stylizing reasons prevent from using items comfortably.
Fight is shooting regularly respawning single cell organisms to the point that meeting enemy shooting projectiles or having stun attack is making levels less boring.

if you enjoyed XCOM and went "hey. what if it was like, real time and also with necromorphs" then this is pretty much that (barring some cool stuff that isn't that). running around as a psionic warrior with 7 buds thrashing across mars is a fun romp and i enjoy it
