I knew this was going to be a bad game but I'm shocked at how bad it is. The only explanation for releasing this I can think of is that the developers have never driven a vehicle or played a driving video game in their lives, let alone anything to do with tractor/trailers. And that's no excuse, but I would accept that as how this laugh out loud terrible game came to be. They clearly were not dedicated to releasing a quality game or offering anything of value.
The AI cannot even navigate the roads alone without crashing, but as soon as 2 are on screen there's an accident. 30 MPH feels like 60. The handling seems like FPS physics not vehicle. The road layouts are absurd. No actual road signage. Automatic traffic offenses. And there's a visual novel overlapping the rest of the garbage just to make it as bad as a game can possibly be. Bravo, I don't know how this could have been made worse.
To me the $6 was worth it just to make me appreciate ATS and ETS that much more, so in a way it's an enhancement for those sims, and all the laughs, but I would never be able to recommend this to anyone.
if you like truck games like EuroTruck, can buy this game with SURE. APPROVED
unfortunately, the controls and the support for steering wheels is lacking quite a bit. you can do keyboard, mouse, and controller but nothing specifically for steering wheels, so you either have to map to keyboard keys or try to map your wheel to the controller mappings. however, doing so, half the key names don't display so you can't see what you configured and with my logitech wheel specifically, the game wants angle my wheel to the left - with no proper way to solve it and should be centred. this just results in a negative user experience.
i was really hoping to try the game and get a different trucking experience to what i'd normally get on ETS2 and ATS, but here we are. they made the console version first and the pc conversion really hasn't gone well... or just not really thought out properly.
i'm sorry soedesco but i just can't recommend the game, when i can't even use my steering wheel correctly.
Very poor wheel implementation. No actual wheel settings to be found. Refunded.
Cannot understand how this has such a high rating.
