Doesn't work, All I get is a black screen when trying to play. No help from troubleshooting or anything.
So Many Bugs...
I love the idea and I'm a huge fan of the series that it gains its inspiration, but this game is NOT finished. It's barely alpha-equivalent, if that. There are typos (even on the main menu!), graphical issues, and it seems to just be a mobile port (right click does not cancel buildings etc). It also wants to sync to Google Play. The balance is bad as well. I had one enemy rocket turret kill two tanks in two shots. Not only will it two-shot a tank, but the collisions are so broken that the tanks were stacked and both took damage at the same time.
As for originality, there is very little in my opinion. Units are directly named after units in C&C games (MCV, Predator tank, etc) and some of the buildings are nearly identical. The logos are direct rips from the Red Alert franchise with minor tweaks to keep the lawyers away.
I rarely write reviews and even more rarely bad ones, but stay away from this one.
There is a mission where you must wait for reinforcements to arrive... I've secured all enemy spawn points enough to not have to watch the screen. I watched two movies while waiting for reinforcements that never came... 4 hours of waiting and nothing. Either this mission is unbeatable or I'm missing something.
Not a bad little game. Needs some minor tweaks (Like a power meter instead of just a number, a few more lines for the units to speak, and some balancing tweaks). I think it's a decent game for what it is, but it could be better. I really hope that the studio still works on this game. (Also, some dialog for mission text would be nice) Overall I do actually like this game, and would like to see some improvements in the future.
Great game, The voice acting and the music is fantasic. It really just brings this game together.
