Like with all of ALICE IN DISSONANCE's works from the fault series to this title, you really need to sit down and be comfortable for the best experience. While you could buy books for over $10, or even a whole book series for more, spending $5 for this title that perfectly executes every story beat is more than worth it (including soundtrack and art!). Everything is purposeful, and you really really really need to try hard to not be human and to dislike the soul that is put into this title.
For the art, there's attention put to the facial expressions, line styles, and colors to convey an atmosphere. For the soundtrack, they go for ambiance and atmospheric effect, which complements and enhances the art and writing. For the writing, there's a lot of subtext and multi-layered meanings in the guise of simplicity, so that may turn some people off if you're looking for more explicit meanings and explanations. It will certainly look childish and naive for people who only see the surface. If that doesn't matter and you have humanity in you, then the story's beauty and wisdom will be yours, so sit back and enjoy the ride.
It's short, simple, and easy to read with writing from someone that has experienced a lot of life. Even though it's about an hour or two of reading, AiD has standards and won't let the quality drop. They want you to feel something and that's what I appreciate. Every title they've made never missed, and i'm grateful to see a group of developers working on something that matters not just to them, but to other people.
If you enjoyed this, you will also enjoy their fault series. They lay all raw emotions to bare, they don't hold back, and they are not afraid to play your emotions like a fiddle.

Short and straightforward children's story with high-quality production. Reminded me of the Brothers Grimm.
Short and (bitter)sweet VN with sickeningly cute artwork. I cannot overstate how much I like this art. It's so good. I want to hang it up on my wall.
The middle part of the game is kinda boring but it's short anyway so who cares. I like this developer and will continue to buy and play their other games (which are also good, btw).
