WRONGED is a very poorly made 3D rendered first person adventure game with a dark/horror theme, although the incredibly weak technical delivery eradicates any general interest in the gameplay here.
From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
The game features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets with crap 2D retro pixel "art" textures/shaders on them, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the early 1990s. This very poor quality visual style is a method that lazy devs often use to disguise their lack of talent/interest in doing the graphics properly and trying to disguise it under the name of "art", or "We made it look bad on purpose", which really isn't something gamers should have to put up with.
It's unclear why the developers weren't willing to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets and high resolution textures for the game. It looks bad as a result of their decisions, worse, it doesn't authentically recreate the 1990's vibe the developer is hoping people will accept instead of doing their job properly, and that's just another reason to avoid it.
The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts.
These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 3 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected.
So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam?
WRONGED is relatively cheap at $2 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend. This is also competing with over 11,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product.

It's a 25 minute walking simulator.
Wronged is a pretty cool short little atmospheric psychological horror indie pc game experience for 100% IBM Compatible machines and distributed on Steam. I think there's a fetus involved, and the lighting is spooky. Generally, it's pretty gnarly and cool.

Wronged. Yes I was when I paid for this.
I'm a bit split on recommending this game. So let's start with what I liked. The weirdness is always a plus. This game is weird, but an enjoyable weird. I didn't experience any bugs personally, which is always a plus as well. The whole story is odd as well, but I did like it, although it took me a bit to figure out what was going on and what the story was. I liked that it had multiple endings, too. Now for the things I didn't like. The actual endings literally made (almost) no sense. While, I could get a very basic gist of what went down for the endings, it really was just me making a guess. Only the true ending made the most sense without me having to make any assumptions. It would make the game way better to have proper endings that could explain a bit more. I did not like how dark the game was, I struggled to see in the basement with the highest brightness for my laptop. Having some kind of in-game setting to change the brightness would've been great. I'm sure this isn't a problem for all people, of course.
Overall, do I recommend this game? Sure. This game is extremely short (about 1-1.5 hours tops) and it's extremely weird, so if that's something you're looking for in a game, this game is for you. Just don't expect an amazing story or anything scary.
Best 69 cents I've spent in my indie horror career. Had about 1.5 hours of a good spookening with myself and friends. Will say though I wish the objectives had been more clear and there were more actual threats to be afraid of but very good for what I paid

WRONGED is a short, low-poly horror game that features several puzzles and a total of four endings. You wake up in a basement, alone with nothing but a crying baby and a trail of blood-covered notes that give you a vague idea of what to do for the first few steps of the game. However, after a while the notes stop leading and you're left to wander a dark, three-story house in dead silence while fumbling around for a way to complete the game. There are a total of four endings, and overall while achieving all of them the game lasts anywhere from 30-60 minutes.
The allure of this title is predominately its low-poly, pixelated art style. Most games that feature this type of rendering generally turn out to be pretty amazing; IMSCARED instantly comes to mind. I initially was unable to recommend this game due to a formidable softlock that would render the game impossible to complete if playing out of the intended solution sequence. However, the developer and I spoke via PM and he issued a same-day patch that, after testing myself, fixed the problem. This is very commendable, as it's not often that I find developers who actually do this and it does show that Joshua Roland cares about his release.
With all that said and while the tagline on the store page touts that WRONGED carries an "oppressive horror atmosphere", in reality there is no atmosphere to speak of; unless you count deathlike silence and a 2-foot light radius as scary and oppressive. There's no danger, no monsters, no real coherent story. Just aimless wandering coupled with trial and error to figure out how to finish the game one way or another. Ironing out the bugs is a step in the right direction, but there is still work to be done. Wandering around the game in utter silence for so long does more to kill the mood, and it could simply be fixed by adding at least one free audio track.
Rating: 2.0/5.0 - It's not awful, but it's not great.

The three eyes of wisdom
A weird low polygon adventure in a horror house. You start in the basement after your childbirth giving and now that the baby is screaming you have to feed it and wash it to make it comfortably. But wait. You can also feed your left arm to it or find a knife in the kitchen to kill it immediately. The story turns into a dark horror of mysteries and puzzles solveable just with household items. It climaxes into changing your eyeballs in the sink just with a pair of scissors. That must be dark humor like in "Minority Report".
I was disappointed with this game.
The ambience is pretty good - even though there are no actual threats or monsters, I felt on edge while playing this. The audio effects are especially good. However I thought the lighting was a bit too dim, to the point where I sometimes had problems navigating.
What ruined it for me, though, is the fact that it's possible to play this game wrong, which is what I did. The game wants you to play in a certain way and do things in the correct order, otherwise you simply won't progress and will have to start over. Some items will only spawn after you've done another task, which I found odd. The game gives you very little instruction and it was not clear what my goal was, so I ended up wandering around aimlessly a lot.
I also had some issues with bugs. An item I needed spawned, but suddenly disappeared without me being able to collect it. There was also a locked door which, after I obtained the key and unlocked it, still wouldn't open. Looking through the walkthrough I see that I was supposed to be able to open the washer, but I tried several times and it didn't open. This could be a hitbox issue.
All in all I think this game had potential, but my experience was that there were too many issues for me to be able to enjoy it.
The game itself itself is different from the other low poly like games I had play.
I just wanted something more... enjoyable.
There isn't really any replay value, more than a one time play.
This type of game belongs more on Gamejolt than Steam.
The game also sort of too easy?
I can't really describe how I feel about this game.
The person who made this game should have made it longer and had more difficult puzzles.
"oppressively dark horror atmosphere." is described for the game having nothing more than a house without a source of light beside a foot in front of you at all times.
"Use only household items and your own wits to escape a warped, claustrophobic nightmare world shrouded in darkness." - The only thing about the quote is that you use household items.
The game itself is not really that a "claustrophobic nightmare world shrouded in darkness," unless you get uneased easily navigating throughout a hallway inside a home.
Besides the cons of the overexaggerated description of this game, I did enjoy *some* of the gameplay and the graphics were nice for a "low-poly, pixelated art style" and fit the game itself.
There are better games out there that goes for this type of approach, however.
Two examples are The Silent House and Fingerbones; both games I had played before and had a better experience than this game.
For a $2.99 game, I would rate this a 4/10.
Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Xbox 360 wired controller. VR Review only
I'm giving a neutral recommendation. I didn't particularly like this title. But I got it on sale for $2. One of the most off-putting things is the controls. I started using the Xbox One controller but figured out you can't get the game to start with it. When I plugged in my Xbox 360 controller then I was able to gaze at the start option and start by pressing A.
You use X and A and the shoulder buttons and the joystick controls / directional pad. Opening stuff is clunky. You have to gaze, press A, then swing in the direction it would open. Some doors / cabinets are locked. The only way to know is when you fail that you'll sometimes hear a sound. But the sound is often delayed. The inventory system looks and is laughably bad.
You move around slowly. You have to do things in a certain order. The house is actually pretty small, but it does have some hidden spaces. If you mess up the order you probably can't progress. The only reason I know any of this is because I read the walkthrough after being stuck for about 10 minutes and not being able to figure out what to do next. Some of the steps make sense, while others really don't. Read the walkthrough after being stuck!
Is this worth 3? I don't think so. But it definitely has more going for it than most .99 cents VR games. At least it's going for a different experience. There's different endings. I didn't really have fun though and the gameplay and graphics were subpar. Just clunky overall.
Rate 5/10. Only buy if you're the adventurous type looking for something cheap and different in VR.
This was... different. I'm not sure how I feel about it really, but it was interesting. If you enjoy collecting items and then finding where to use them, go for it. The atmosphere was nicely done. All in all, not bad for the price.
Really enjoyed this! It was dark, opressive, unsettling to play, uncertainty around every corner. There was a bit where I didn't really understand why one item didn't work where I thought it would, but that's a minor squibble. The entire experience was really chilling. There's also a hint of a story somewhere in there but I only had one ending as of this review.
All in all, a great short event with multiple endings and ways to do things. Think Anatomy, but with a bit more game innit.
