Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach

As a long-time FNAF fan, I wasn’t too sure about how much I would actually enjoy it, considering how different it is from past games. However, I found that I liked it more than I thought I would! Of course, it’s buggy sometimes and glitchy other times, and I got swarmed with multiple Montys several times, but even with the flaws, I had a wonderful time playing! 

The story, graphics, and playthrough were a nice change of pace from the past games (not to diss them or anything; I love them dearly), and I enjoyed being able to roam around the Pizzaplex and take in all the details. The animatronics have personality, Gregory is full of sass, and the ambiance/music is great to listen to. I spent a lot of time in the Daycare just vibing to the goofy song. 

I may be biased considering how many hours I have in it, but I definitely recommend this game. Even with its buggy nature and occasionally back-and-forth tasks, it was fun to play and figure out each ending.

While they actually fixed a lot of the performance issues, and the game looks good.
I don't think it's worth its money. Its just not scary at all, more just sad.

Also it still got these annoying framedrops. Even tho my PC is 3 times better than its required.
Get the older Fnaf games or anything else, this sadly is a waste of money.

I recommend this game. While i do admit that the game is really buggy and the game doesn't run smoothly for many, Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach has a great story, the new mechanics like going inside Freddy's stomach hatch are awesome, the recharge stations and saving stations work really great in my opinion. I do not believe that the game should get as much hate as it does, even in 2025.

This game has so many inconsistencies and frankly baffling design decisions, terrible pacing, a ridiculous amount of bugs, also it runs very poorly. Feels weirdly amateur.

I did have fun at points, but by the last couple of hours I was just begging to see the credits.

This game gave me nightmares. This game even gave me PTSD and I didnt even think that was possible. I never want to play this game ever again. Most unpleasent experience ever. I still have flashbacks to this day.

This game was good, it was buggy but over all game play it was intresting, there is multiple endings and its not to hard. It is kind of scary but not to much. The best thing about this game is that you get to chill with Music Man. I RECOMMEND.

What is there to say about this game that hasn't been said already, its buggy at times, its noticeably unfinished in areas, and the story is a mess.However this is also an extremely fun game with lots of potential. The Pizzaplex is a really cool location probably the best in the series and is really fun to learn your way around. The Glamrocks themselves are great my favorite of all FNAF animatronics with actual personality, their also the biggest let down as nothing is really done with them their just kinda there. overall 8/10 the story is a mess the animatronics are great but go nowhere, and the game play and location are great.

It'd be nice if they went back to fix all the bugs. I can't even play because of Freddy's chica voice box upgrade mini-game. It's literally bugged. Even hitting the right notes just don't work at all anymore. Even the animations spawning right on top of you out of nowhere. The game itself visually is really good but with the bugs it just becomes really hard to enjoy it. Especially when said bugs prevent any progression through the game at all. I want to play the ruin dlc but I don't want to make too much progress in it if it'll just pop out a random bug preventing me from playing. Kindly fix this game so I can actually play it.

This game is pure just bad as frick it has no instuctions that are useful and i keep dying when no anamatronics are near me 1/10

Horrible game, ruins the lore and everything that make the FNaF games... FNaF games.
Very anti-climatic ending and the secret ending is just sloppy.
Not scary what-so-ever and the graphics are horrible at times, so pixelated it feels like it was made when the first game takes place
The Mazercize puzzle might be the most poorly designed puzzle throughout every game I've played, took me over an hour WITH TUTORIALS

What this game can be best described as is what happens when you, as a producer and project lead let your team balloon the scope of your game into an unmanageable mess that barely functions. This game to me is a case study as what a game that suffers from scope creep looks like.
For those who do not know scope creep is the game development term for taking the desired end state of a game, the scope, and pushing it far beyond what it originally was. How do I know this is scope creep you ask? Well let me take words directly from the horses mouth

To quote Scott himself,” So, it's like I wanted to bake this cake, right? And Steel Wool was like "Hey, we can bake that cake.", and I was like "It needs to be baked by Christmas.", and they were like, "We can bake it by Christmas." But then I checked the oven, like, last month, and said, "Hey, Steel Wool, this cake is like THREE TIMES BIGGER than it was supposed to be!", and they were like "Yeah, it's gonna be great!", and I was like "Yeah, but it's not going to be baked by Christmas! It's still gooey in the middle!" So, we had to make a choice; should we trim the cake and make it smaller for Christmas? Or, should we let the cake keep baking for a few more months, leave it as a three-tier cake, and add frosting, ice cream, and sprinkles? We discussed, and decided to let the cake keep baking.”
Ultimately I feel that the state of this game and the messy state that it still resides as is a reflection of Scott cawthons inability to act as a producer and project lead and effectively manage the scope of a game like this. It is also his decision to have a studio known for making predominantly VR titles to make a flat game, suffice to say the horror, you know fnaf the game that changed the horror genre, is the weakest aspect of the game outside of the various technical issues that have plagued it. I only really recommend this game to developers who are looking to break into the games industry and want a clear example on what a game that suffers from scope creep looks like.
Scott, do better, despite you being retired you still called the shots for this project.

Embarrassingly bad gameplay with 0 polish. It either ignores or fundamentally misunderstands everything that made fnaf good. They repeated every mistake they made in this game when they released the DLC. They learned nothing.

The game was pretty good, I just wan't blown away by it. It doesn't really give that feeling like I want to try more to find all the ending, but the main line I was going down was nice. It was just okay for me.

all of my save data is gone i left the game becuase an area wasnt working. i come back on today after 10 months hopeing these awful game devs have fixed something that has been in the game for years now. then i come back to see that my save is gone and it is unrecoverable. next time you make a game play test it

it is fun and the graphics are amazing 10/10 recommend from me
there are lag spikes every now and then but overall the game is good
i wish they would add MSAA anti-anilising for some preformance buffs

3/10. Good base but I'd rather pull out each individual fingernail before playing again, that'd be more enjoyable.

I.. both love and hate this game. This is the only Fnaf game I found worth playing myself as I'm not a fan of "clicker" games and it seemed enjoyable however there were areas that I had to replay several times because of bugs and lack of proper instructions/preparation.

For instance Monty in his golf course, he is a son of a but I got past it eventually with a thinning patience. Then I wasn't given proper instructions on what to do after the upgrade which led me to wonder aimlessly before looking up a guide.

Finally I found myself moving forward only to end up at the Music man, arguably one of my favorite sections... in practice.
I have now done it roughly 5-6 times. One time I was able to get to the final lever but died on the chase due to something glitching my movement ( May have been at the fault of my mouse ), slowing my character down a tad.
I tried once more after that before losing any entertainment it may have been clinging to. It's ridiculous how unforgiving this game can be, though not surprising since all Fnaf games are made to be difficult, a challenge to beat instead of a game to play in my opinion. If you want to make a challenge add a hard mode instead of screwing over people who just want to enjoy the game.

I really wish I hadn't spent $40 on this game instead of spending it on something that'd actually bring me joy.

I've played this game 3 years after the release and it's STILL AN UNFINISHED, BUGGY mess.

The Good:
- The Pizzaplex looks amazing, it just makes you want to roam its hallways all day long.
- The animatronic designs are pretty cool.
- Sun and Moon are awesome.
- Monty's area is peak perfect design.

The Bad:
- There are several gamebreaking bugs. If I didn't create a different save file every time, i would have had to restart the game 5 times, because it softlocked. I fell through the map just by walking around, getting out of a hiding place threw me into the void, a door remained locked when I had to go through, animatronics got stuck in walls and on furniture. Even the final bossfight is buggy. It's just ridiculous.
- The map is terrible. The whole Pizzaplex is huge and you literally have no idea where you need to go. At the beginning, it is said that the mission will be marked on your map, but there are no marks on the map, ever. Good luck finding your mission's place somewhere in this huge damn plaza.
- Horrible gameplay mechanics. Sometimes it's random if the roaming roomba security bots notice you or not. The animatronics teleport all over the map, making it unfair. Was Chica behind you when you left a room? Now she is in front of you somehow, too bad, deal with it.
- Sneaking is useless, why does the one "blind" animatronic "hear" you, when you are sneaking?
- Some puzzles are horrible. F-ck Mazercise and the DJ MM area in particular.
- Vanny. Vanny, the "big bad" of this game, shows up a total of 1 time. Not like she does anything that time, she just hops around like the lunatic she is. What a great villain. I'm pretty sure they scrapped her scenes for some reason.
- William, this hot garbage of a man, also appears, but not even he knows why. Maybe he saw that Vanny was useless, idk. It was likely a last minute idea, so it makes total sense.
- F-ck the saving system. At 6 AM, it gets turned off and you can't even use the previously known cheat that allowed you to save again. They updated that, but none of the bugs, good job. So, after you get to 6 AM, all you have is a total of 1 existing saving point, in a huge, buggy map that can softlock you at any point.
- There are security lvl 9-10 rooms, but the highest security badge you can find is 8, which makes those rooms inaccessible. Also, as I know, there is nothing but the void behind them. So why are they there? It just makes no sense.

Shame on everyone who decided to skip the quality testing of this game, and on anyone who decides to update the Mazercise code every other month instead of fixing the bugs.

It is bloody amazing! best game to ever exist!! My favourite characters are Glamrock Freddy and Montgomery Gator the designs are amazing just little disappointed that foxy got entirely replaced by Roxy, but im glad they sufficed with giving him his own huge pirate cove in the main area and there's some major dark lore 'bout Bonnie and monty! but either way! enough ranting! 10/10 game!

I recommend playing this if you enjoyed the FNAF games,. Completely different game play then the other games, But imo the graphics are good and the animatronics look cute but creepy.

Ok look, this game is alright in its current state. If your new to this franchise you will probably enjoy Security Breach, the characters are bright and colourful each one having a different look and personality. However if you've been in the franchise for a while and have invested yourself in the lore you may find the game confusing and unfulfilling. The atmosphere feels very grand with the sprawling locations in the Pizzaplex, but that atmosphere completely smothers the fear factor that FNaF is known for, not to mention the many bugs, glitches and performance issues the game has that further pull you out of the gameplay. To be fair to the team at SteelWool they have pushed out multiple patches to fix those issues but now that they have fnished patching the game there are still many issues that remain. The bugs are nowhere near as prevalent as they where when the game first droped but iv'e been through the game twice now and have delt my fair share of audio, visual and gameplay bugs. Dispite this iv'e had both fun and frustration at this game, when it first released i was incredibly disapointed in the bugs and messy story, now though i realise this game had so much content cut and toned down along with a a ravenous fanbase wanting the game to release. SteelWool have since proved they can make a FNaF game that dosent have these issues with the dlc RUIN which i am yet to play but have heard and seen good things and i am looking forward to their next FNaF instalment, Secret Of The Mimic.

I got a refund, but I LOVE this game. The game didn't run all that great on my PC, so I got a refund and bought it for my Playstation instead. I'm so glad I did! The story had me hooked, the graphics are beautiful, and overall it's super fun! It's sometimes infuriating, but in a good way—challenging and engaging. Also, I love Papa Bear (Glamrock Freddy). Foxy was at the top of my favorite animatronic list for a while, but now he shares that spot with Papa Bear. And Roxy? Well, she's in last place because she's killed me a billion times, lol.

I don't really like the whole lore of FNAF. Honestly, I don't like the canon story of children being murdered. It's just a game, but unfortunately, murder is very real. Innocent people are killed in real life. I still love FNAF, but not for the lore. I love it for its quirkiness, the animatronics, and the jumpscares that often have me laughing like a hyena.

What I loved about Security Breach's story wasn't the underlying lore, but the journey Gregory and Freddy took together to escape the Pizzaplex. Without spoiling too much, I got a good ending, which made me happy. Like any multi-ending FNAF game, there are good and bad endings. The ending I got was sweet. I mainly enjoyed the almost parental relationship between Freddy and Gregory. Gregory was a scared little kid who needed help, and Freddy stepped up to guide and protect him. It was a heartwarming aspect of the game, you know? Overall, this is probably my favorite FNAF game. Glamrock Freddy is the most lovable animatronic bear I've ever met. <3

Honestly don't know why people shit on this game a ton. It's honestly a ton of fun although some parts are a bit tricky it's still really enjoyable. Only other complaint though is the price. At least make it 3/4 - 1/2 the price it currently is. Like I get theres a dlc and everything that expands the game a ton but maybe a price drop would help sell it a bit more. Other than that, extremely fun and great for any FNAF fan whether you're a veteran or a new player. 8.5/10

Animatronics look amazing, freddy is a G and overall great game to play. Has a little bit of a stutter and does lack lots of rendering but still fun.

This game fucking sucks. It has so many glitches,the story fucking sucks,nobody knows where this game belongs in the damn lore and i just can't stand this piece of shit. The only good thing I can say is that the voice acting is good,but everything else just sucks. Somehow it could be worse than FNAF 3,and y'know,that's not good.

Terrible game for sure But, at least before they patched out everything, (Not anything that actually needed attention mind you) There was a ton of fun to be had.

Security Peak, and do not let ANYONE discourage you in believing otherwise. This game gave us tales. It gave us an incredible, unique personality-filled cast all with their respective quirks and feelings that make you *far* more attached to them than any other animatronics. The replayability is great too! In some aspects, the gameplay IS lacking, tutorials could definitely be more clear, and has quite a few bugs (let's disregard the existence of mazercise), but the beautiful atmosphere, world-building, lore, and the gameplay that IS polished makes up for it.

After Revisiting, the game is for sure still fun, However, it still runs very poorly. i get around 300FPS at max settings, but it still stutters and freezes when entering certain areas that it must load. worth the price if it is on sale.

Yes, YES, 1000 times yes!! best game ever!!! entertaining and very interactive! There are so many hidden achievements! I have played this for over 300 hours, I would definitely recommend
