I absolutely loved the visuals and the environment the beauty of the cityscapes is amazing and the story is really engaging, i enjoyed learning about Hindu mythology, I especially liked the cut scenes that focused on Raji and her brother Golu story representation the art style is stunning.
The fights with Rangda and Mahabalasura were tough (fr skill issue tbh) and took me two days to beat (I’m still new to gaming), but I enjoyed the challenge. The weapons in the game are pretty cool too. Overall, it was a great experience! things I didn’t like the voice overs for the characters could’ve been more interesting and detailed as for the combat, it’s decent not too difficult once you figure out the enemy’s moves, I’d definitely recommend this game to everyone. Give it a shot it’s worth it!
I wanted to like this so badly, as I'd been eyeing the game for years, but the controls and mechanics were ATROCIOUS. The strict camera angles were also difficult to navigate where you are going. Beautiful visuals and mythology, but inconsistencies in wall running, jumping platforms, combat, etc made it so frustrating to fully enjoy the story.

I thoroughly enjoyed playing Raji: An Ancient Epic. The game is deeply rooted in Indian mythology, which is a massive positive, and it's wonderful to see this kind of cultural uniqueness presented in a video game. The graphics are incredible, with the beautiful scenery really bringing the world to life. The cut scenes are quite simple but do so much in terms of storytelling.
However, I thought the final boss could have been much tougher. It was very easy compared to other battles throughout the game. Overall, however, it's a wonderful experience and worth playing for anybody interested in mythology and who enjoys lovely visuals!

The only thing i didn't like was the camera angle if we had gotten a normal third person view this game would have been one of the best action adventure. I think its worth playing because it changes your perspective for mythology.

As an Indian and a gamer, Raji: An Ancient Epic made me so happy. It’s an amazing game that shows Indian culture and mythology in such a beautiful way. Knowing it’s made in India makes me even prouder.
The cutscenes are stunning. They use a shadow-puppet style to tell the story, and it’s so unique. I loved how they shared short stories of Lord Durga, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Shiva with pictures. It felt like I was watching an ancient tale come to life.
The art style is incredible. Every part of the game looks like a painting, with bright colors and designs inspired by Indian temples and traditions. It’s just so beautiful to look at.
The background music is so relaxing. It’s based on Indian classical music, and it made me feel calm while playing. It fits the game perfectly.
The world-building is amazing too. The game’s environments show so much of India’s culture, from the temples to the towns. It’s like exploring a magical version of our heritage.
This game is special to me. It’s not just fun to play but also a proud moment for Indians. If you haven’t played it yet, you should. It’s a wonderful experience that stays with you.

i still recommend it, i think the studio have some great ideas.
the art style + ray tracing, camera panning, are all beautiful.
combat is a little janky, have that hades feel, but not as smooth.
i like learning about indian culture, but it's a bit limited tbh. the monsters looked pretty good, just couldn't really see their features, which i think would add major points.
overall good game, as a game. story-wise could be a whole lot better.
Storytelling, Gameplay, Combat, Voice artists, animations, specially the puppet shows in the cut scenes. Everything was top notch and above what I expected. I just wanna thank everyone behind this game for showcasing our great Indian culture in front of the world. I just finished the game in one go, and now can't wait for the sequel.

Amazing game, beautiful visuals , great gameplay , no annoying pay to progress system , no more wait for days to build a building or ability . Just pure gaming like old offline pc games or 8 bit console games. Absolutely perfect .

You get stuck in the Deserts of Thar level. Played this for a total of 8 hours only to get frustrated.

Fantastic visual presentation! A great game with a lot of passion and love behind it. I'm especially thankful for the Story Mode, as without it I would not be able to see it to the end. The combat became too much for me in the beginning.
It has great environment art, interesting lore and is worth a try for a novel experience and a glimpse in to a culture we don't see represented that often.

short game yet immersive , really liked how they represented indian culture and the stories of hindu gods . the visuals were amazing , the puzzles were fun and overall was great experience .
I loved the game. the best this is the beautiful graphics and backgrounds.
Writing this review after finishing the game. To be honest the level design is impressive considering this title comes from a indie studio and have utilized Unreal engine very well but I felt the combat and story to be very average. Especially the Hindi voice over is very disappointing, I had to switch to English after almost completing half the game. I am not sure if its from an AI or there were actual voice actors involved. Enjoyed the music as they are using Rajasthani folk if I am not wrong which is very pleasing to the ears. Various tales of Shiva, Durga and Vishnu have been covered but do not go into much detail. I came across a bug which is almost game breaking in the last stage which is known and have various workarounds but has not been addressed by developers. Overall would recommend this game and hope great titles are delivered by this studio in the future.
The vibrancy of Culture and the lore of Gods are richly represented but game falls short on length of the game as you can complete it in one sitting and repeatability for any level is unavailable which should be available for a game of this length.
And also there are still very few bugs, but one of those didn't let me progress and I had to start again.
Recommended if you want some different flavour in 2.5D games.

Rich Indian Culture. Loved every aspect of it.
Fun game. Full of colour and pretty aesthetics. Some of the set pieces are beautiful enough to make me wish there was a free camera mode. Combat is somewhat unbalanced since certain weapons and elements feel much more effective than others. Replayability factor is pretty decent. All of the bosses are pretty easy except the final one, where the difficulty spikes rather steeply and you'll probably spend most of your time spamming dodge. Just don't expect a happy ending.
A must have and must played Mythological game on Steam. Amazing graphics, level design, story telling, gameplay and above all, the music, mindblowing.
You will get to know a lot about Indian mythology and feel the essence of the Soul of Bharat.

Recommended, but barely. And only when the price is low.
Game is really short. Climax feels rushed. A lot of weapons and attacks feel useless because of animation lag. Enemy AI sometimes glitches out. Combat is fun when works but can often become a pain when some annoying enemies start showing up. Final boss is too frustrating on Easy. Overall, the game lacks QA and polish.
Inspirations from Prince of Persia is obvious. The fantastic art direction, mesmerising visuals, storytelling and a rather authentic depiction of Indian mythology are about the only reasons that make this game somewhat worthwhile.
We need more games based on similar themes and legends, because right now this is something of a rare gem.

You play has Raji your main purpose is to look for your brother that has been taken away from you, in the way you will learn great power that will help you in your quests.
This is a gorgeous game, there are some game mechanics issues but other than that, I've enjoyed playing and listening to the mythology stories. The scenery is mesmerising and the music is well chosen. I would love to see more games based on culture/mythology.
