We have loved all of your feedback, and are working hard to improve the game! KRAKEN is our first game, and we are committed to making it rad for all you beautiful people.
Our first major patch includes:
-A new level select system, allowing you to jump in and out of each era more easily
-A new "All you can eat" mode, allowing you to fight infinite waves of enemies from all eras
-A reworked wave system, increasing the intensity and pacing of the overall game
-Improved player feedback, so that you know when you’re dominating or dying
-Tonnes of visual and performance optimisations
-Improvements to enemy behaviour and AI
-Reworked powerup mechanics
-Improved support for Oculus Rift
You guys found a lot of bugs - so did we. We’re pretty confident we smashed most of them, but we really appreciate your ongoing support.

its alright but holy shit is it short
Experienced on the Meta Quest 2
So I wanted to complete the game, but then the game crashed about halfway through the second level. I just wasn't having fun and so I decided to stop playing. I know this game is only $2 USD currently (it originally sold for $15 USD), but i just can't recommend it.
It may be fun for kids. This is basically a 360 arena wave shooter (but instead melee tentacles). You can swim by moving your motion controllers under the water and pointing where you want to go and pressing trigger. Other than that, you're just playing whack a mole with tentacles that eventually go near where you want them to hit. The problem with the game is that after a few minutes, it becomes very repetitive.
You do have some limited use upgrades. You can use a shield, or a missile, slow time or get extra money. However, you're really just repeating the same actions. There's some enemy variety, but it doesn't matter because you're just smashing them over and over and over and over again ad nauseam.
The game does look good. It ran smoothly. Other than the crash, I didn't experience any other issues. It just wasn't fun. It's a close call though and I could see some people enjoying it more than I did.
Rate 4.5/10. Should be free to play honestly.
It really is a fun little game, i got super tired the first time i played it, great exercise.
Also protip... Pulley users... this is one of those games where over head cables arent that great :p
The tentacle physics are fun to learn and performance was excellent on a 1080.
The game is colorful, voice acting is good, enemies roam the map until close to you then attack you, they have different weapons like holding you in place or shooting at you.
The game is simple enough that anyone should be able to play it.
BUT its a very cheap game, it lacks on some stuff, like i felt some SFX where missing, and some other stuff could be more polished.
Recommended because even with some shortcomings, the content and quality surpassed my expectations for the price.
Good pickup for the price. The game is polished with nice voice acting. Doesn't feel amateur.
Nice graphics. Whip mechanics are satisfying and it's a good workout. Might be a bit short but it's fun and replayable.
This is a great game, especially for only $2. I like that you put your hands behind your back to swim, it really makes you feel like a squid, and the big motion of changing from hands behind to crushing what is in front of you give you that real sense of power.
I had a little trouble getting my tentacles to whip out as far as I wanted. But once I figured out you could duck to swim underwater... I had a lot more fun just coming up super close to the ships and flipping them.
I still don't understand the scoring system, but I don't care because it is fun without the score. I don't know what all the power-ups do, but randomly trying them out is also fun.
My only critique is that while holding the triggers to swim the controllers constantly vibrate. It seems like a waste of battery power, but I guess some form of feedback is required.
i like the idea but it wasnt implemented very well, mainly the movement system
you have to hold your hands in a weird position like your tentacles are thrusters, which makes sense but it isn't comfortable. also moving makes you feel nauseous

I want to like this game but i dont, it is only fun for like 5 min and after that it is just the same thing over and over.
Overall It's a really fun game and a workout but you NEED to have a big play zone or you will smack the hell out of your stuff. And I would love to see it so you can turn with the joystick well as looking around for the people with no 360 set up.

I did cheat-a-littleduring the Height Calibration I used a step stool to stand on. So I was higher up than the game would set for me. My head was above water instead of head & shoulders above water level. Made bending in the water easier for me and less pain in my back❗

Unique and fun little arcade-y smash-'em-up in VR.
Love how the use of water affects gameplay.
This will workout your legs and back for all the times you're going to want to swim underwater with your arms pushed back.

My only little complaint is wishing more control over your tentacles. Can barely get the trick of using them as whips. Sometimes I feel like they're just dangling there like "dead fish".
