This Is A Chinese Chess Game.
To win the game, you need to kill the enemy's general, that is , to achieve "Checkmate".The current game version contain the following features:
Basic scene with Chessboard, pieces, and some furniture~
The "Artificial Idiot" support on single player so that you can play with computer AI.
Steam achievements system...
With Steam Workshop, you can create and upload your own AI design and scenes.
Multiplayer through internet (because there aren't many players, you may need a friend to start a match)

Do NOT buy this one.
Many hopes in the beginning, BUT it never improved after so long in the early access stage. Now I'm just waiting for Just Xiangqi from Studio Amateur Will release by Q4 2023 I believe. They made a very good game for Just Go.

Interesting game that is different to chess. It needs to be made more accessible for non-chinese speakers. By this I mean there need to be graphical board pieces eg an elephant instead of a Chinese symbol for an elephant. This will make it easier for people not familiar with the game to play and would look cool too.
Way too laggy.
Firstly, I would say that the game so far as an early access is quite okay, few things to note are:
-The 3D enviroments are beautiful indeed.
-The animation gives a good immersion of playing on a real board.
-The chess AI is decent so far, tho it has room for improvements
Next, things to improve:
-Thinking time can be little too long sometimes, and sometime you will need to press reset for the AI to make a move.
-UI needs a lot improvement
-The font needs a change of design, it's pretty ugly
-Scenes from Steam Workshop doesn't work for me, it's all black (I may need to check on my side as well)
So far that's all my comments for now, I hope the things I have stated would be considered for improvement.
Overall, for those who want to get this game, if you want to kill some time playing some chinese chess, feel free to get to this game, as it does exactly that. Along the way you can watch the game grow as well, as they add more features.
But, if you are here to play against a challenging AI, you might want to wait for developers to improve the AI (Like maybe after early access is over) OR you can come join the early access and try out the other AIs in Steam Workshop made by other players.
My ratings as for now:
Art : 8/10
Programming: 6/10
UI and UX design: 3/10 <- Some focus needs to be placed here as well
Gameplay: (Well you can't change the gameplay xD)
I like chinese chess.
Really wish and hope that this game will continue to develop and improve, and will finally release as a full game from this already great Early-Access game.
