Disclaimer: I was asked by the developer of this game to play it on stream. But I bought the copy of it with my own money.
This game was a very pleasant surprise to me. I went into this game with absolutely no expectations and having never heard about it prior. It has a casual and humorous atmosphere with a dash of dark humor mixed into it.
The traps in this game progress in difficulty at a good pace so that there are no unexpected spikes in difficulty. The bosses can be difficult but thankfully your character only respawns if they die. After respawning they can resume fighting the boss right where they left off.
The story mode for me took a little bit over 3 hours to beat. But the game offers many more game modes for extra replayability. it also includes leaderboards to match yourself against other players on Steam.
One minor issue that came up a few times throughout my playthrough of this game were some grammatical problems with dialog. I definitely recommend having those corrected as they can stand out in an otherwise smooth gameplay experience.
Overall I loved this game and recommend it. It's also being released on other platforms to my knowledge (such as Android) and this game would work very well with a touch screen interface.
Beat it 3 hours...
The story ending just felt so ugly.
Bought it for a friend, and myself...and i was unfortunately disappointed.
On the bright side, i can honestly say that my tolerance for utter stupid crap has unfortunately increased.
...slightly.
I now have slightly more sympathy for the pizza man when he is 5 minutes later than expected arrival time.

I've played and enjoyed many cooperative escape rooms on Steam (which often have puzzle elements), and so I thought Trap Labs might scratch a puzzle itch for myself and my co-op partner.
While I have to say that I loved the graphical cartoon style of the game and the intuitive interface, that's unfortunately where my praise for the game ends. I would've liked for the second player to have a different colored shirt, or even be able to select a different character to showcase more of the unique art style.
Perhaps I'm not as engaged by puzzles as some, but I guess I just wanted to get some extra funny robot dialogue or a little story piece to tell me more about Billy's life after each puzzle. I'd memorize a pattern, traverse some oscillating squares, and then immediately be treated to...another almost identical puzzle.
In addition, the movement in the game just did not feel good to me. My character felt "floaty" and seemed to take a moment to both stop and start moving. The controls do not feel as tight as something like a Super Meat Boy. This movement simply did not combine well with the precision demanded by the game.
This is a really fun action/puzzle trap game! The puzzles are challenging, but fair enough to make you keep trying one more level, then one more level, until you realize you were supposed to put it down 4 hours earlier. It's definitely a little rage inducing, but the feeling of finally persevering is so satisfying!
The art style is also adorable, and really brings charm to an already really polished game.
If you're a fan of the old Starcraft custom games or the Fairly OddParents art style, you should totally check it out!
This is a fun and challenging game for one or multiple people (up to 16 online).
The puzzles are fairly straight-forward to start, but kick it up a notch each level.
There is both WASD (directional) or mouse control modes (with pathing).
You can do Story mode, Arcade mode, or Multiplayer. Keep in mind, Story mode can also be done with friends.
-There are 100 levels in the story, including some boss fights, which can be hectic and a little crazy to learn.
-Arcade modes include Music mode, Endless, Level Up, Speedrun, and Bullet Hell (coming soon).
The art, humor, and original music are great!
The developer has said they plan to keep this game updated and continue to improve the game. There is also talk of a map editor coming, so that will definitely appease those who love an insane challenge, or trolling people with their creations!

Played through the multiplayer so far and it's great with friends. easy to get into and fun to play. even has the tryhard aspect for those that enjoy the challenge of getting gold rank on all the levels.
So, I saw the artstyle and was excited because it reminds me of childhood cartoons I watched. It's the artstyle of Fairly OddParents. Just that alone wanted to get me to buy it. After playing the puzzle platform, I fell in love even if I didnt understand how to continue through the floors. It goes up in skill the higher you go and able to play with each other and help. The developer did quality work into it for fun by yourself and with friends. 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone. Please give this game a try. Help these small developers out and grow into a popular game.
Had a ton of fun playing this with a group of friends. Worked great with 6 of us on a single level in online campaign mode! The puzzles start very simple and gradually get increasingly challenging. This is a super fun game to play. We made it through 100 levels in about 7 hours - and there is so much of the game I haven't even seen yet!
The art and animation is super adorable. The dev is also very responsive and great to work with.

Recently purchased this game to play with a group of friends. The puzzles are great, the challenge level is just right to intrigue and grind for new players and continue to be hard for vets.
The animation and art stylings are right out of cartoons and are reminiscent of my childhood without being overly childish. Its a fun and silly coat of paint over deep and rich puzzle gameplay.
Whether you're looking for for a solo challenge or a good time messing with friends I give this one 4.5/5 for puzzle games.
Trap Labs is great and I cannot recommend it enough.

This is a game special in its own way. The graphic and music are good, and more importantly, while killing time, it trains your eyes and brain and improves your agility over time.
A fun nostalgic puzzle game. Fun by yourself, or with a friend. Reasonably priced.
Really fun action/puzzler game. Has a nice difficulty curve and a great art-style. Plus it helps that the dev is incredibly nice! Fingers crossed for more in the future!
The moment I saw it, I bought it. The art reminds me of those cartoons I grew up watching on TV and the genre is one of my favorite, timed puzzle solving quick reflexes 360 no scope to the next level. Currently taking a break since I spent 2.4 hours straight playing it up to flood 98. Will re-do all the levels til I get the perfect score.

The art style first caught my eye, and the game play turns out to be very fun and challenging! The levels become difficult and need quite a bit of practice. I was happy to have unlimited lives (that I used to the fullest). I played it with my nephew and he loved it too. The graphics are retro and I can't get enough of them. I really hope this comes out on the Apple Store.

I SWARE THIS LOOKS JUST LIKE FAIRLY ODD PARENTS!! This is defenitely one of the more greater games that have came out recently that involves strategy . Heres a review on the game on wether or not you should buy it ;

Yes! Unless you can't handle rage games (Which I cannot) BUT I JUST DONT GIVE UP!
-How long is the game?
There are 100 LEVELS in this game. its taken me an hour and a half to get 50 levels done... So assuming the game gets progressively harder from that point ; youre looking at about 4 hours . . . Unless of course you're just an absoulute freaking legend and can clear each level without dying then probaly about 30 minutes haha.
-Any noticeable bugs in the game?
No, I could not find a single one (Good Job developer)
-Is this game online?

PROS/CONS
Pros :
-Great cartoon graphics
-Looks just like Fairly Odd Parents haha
-Runs very smooth on PC
-Movements are mostly precise
-A vast amount of levels
-Ability of replayability
-There is a boss (Every 25 Levels)
-Death won't cheat you , You'll know exactly whats coming up
-Basically the whole game is about memorizing the trap sequence
-Keeps adding different styles of traps eventually as you go through the levels
-Not really repeatative
Cons :
-Theres a few times the character will overshoot more than you want him too
-The same boss came 2 times . . Was hoping for someone different
-The robots dialouge will sometime block off the way you go so you have to keep pressing space until youre done...
Thats all . . I LOVED THE GAME! 9.5/10
A fun game - similar to Starcraft bounds or other timing based games on steam like Bloody Trapland, but with more variety in the types of traps that you see. It's a skill based timing game - get from one side of the map to the other, with some pattern of traps in the middle that try to kill you. It takes a couple hours to beat - there's some pretty difficult levels near the end (especially the arcade mode), but you are given infinite amount of lives to beat the levels so you can just keep repeating it. Overall worth getting if you like the genre.
You can tell the game is a labour of love. The 00s Cartoon Network graphics are awesome, comes with plenty of content, it's hard as **** to keep me entertained for a while and despite being a multiplatform game it runs okay on my mac.
I'll probably gift it to a couple of friends too, and I hope to see it in r/speedrun soon :D
