Место действия: Англия, середина XIX века; «Ежевичный мёд» – это история о горничных, музыке, и неожиданной любви.
История начинается, когда нашу героиню, Лорину Во, увольняют с её прошлой должности горничной из усадьбы Хартвелл. За её спиной – большая семья в Ливерпуле, которую ей нужно прокормить, и вьющаяся нить дурных замечаний о её весьма неожиданном увольнении, и поиск нового места работы приводит её в имение Блай.
Она вынуждена работать по четырнадцать часов в день без роздыха; над Лориной издеваются более опытные горничные и, что постыднее всего, двенадцатилетняя дочь семьи Леннард, леди Констанция.
Одна из немногих горничных, которая соизволит говорить с Лориной – это таинственная Таохуа – но Лорина желает обратного. Несмотря на её низкий статус, у Таохуа есть собственная личная спальня, она никогда не ходит в церковь с другими слугами, и редко когда с кем связывается. Её отчуждённый, почти кошачий характер вкупе с её необычным видом, глазами, и именем, породили не один и не два слуха в шропширской округе о том, что она может быть ведьмой.
Лорина знает, что лучше держаться подальше от Таохуа, и она отчаянно этого хочет… но, возможно, есть щепотка правды во всех этих слухах, потому что скоро она оказывается околдована этой женщиной.

One of the best writting VN I read. If you do not know where to start reading VN this one have great world building, good characters and even the H parts are highly well written and add complexity to the relationship.

I think this is my favorite VN ever. It's really sweet and beautiful. The characters are charming and lovable. The music is an absolute, unmitigated, banger. Absolutely buy this if you love yuri.

Very well written and doesn't shy away from the details of the historical setting while keeping it tasteful.

Blackberry Honey is a very pleasant visual novel. I was thoroughly engaged throughout the story going and I felt clear emotions to key moments and characters. The visuals are very entertaining and provide additional clarity to story events. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a lovely romance set in Victorian England.
This game definition of good ,cute and interesting story , i will rate this 10/10 , this game as VN dont have any flaws at all , the charecters here are well written and ther relationship looks lively, this game also affets important social problems but not so deeply as in other stories that have been done in the past. it is really good i can definitely recommend it , even without hentai DLC the story itself deserves to be red.
So, I get an achievement for falling in a river but not for being eaten out? Make it make sense.
Recommending this game is impossible for me. All the lovely writing in the world cannot overcome the tedious "breasted boobily" nature of the art, nor the sexualization of children present within the story. There are ways to present young women/teenagers coming into sexuality/adulthood, none of them involve leering upskirt shots or romantic kisses between a 19 year old and a 12 year old.
And what hurts more is that the writing is sincerely quite good. It's refreshing to see a story set in the Victorian era that actually remembers that being devoutly Christian would be a normal thing for people, alongside the baggage such a thing would have in regards to two women having a sexual relationship. There's a lot of little details in the writing that indicate the person/people who wrote this did give a damn about depicting the time period if not accurately then convincingly. But as stated above, none of this can overcome the art and awkward diversions into sexualization of children,
Sapphics deserve better than this trite bullshit, from the boob pockets on every womans clothes to the utterly absurd way the women contort their bodies so that their boobs *and* butt are fully visible during the "romantic" scenes. This was not made for sapphics, this was made for cishet men who want to fetishize and consume lesbians.
It is a fun visual novel

My overall experience with the game was great. Would recommend for those looking for a cute and quick yuri with some fanservice sprinkled on top.
Though there was things i disliked such as Lorina's sprite looking kinda "abnormal" by having two BIG balls of distraction, ik it's up to preference & the story kinda has a reason for that too but i think her bust could be toned down abit. The game also doesn't tell you that you can hide the text box with H and change text related settings with A (if i rmb correctly), I'd appreciate some sort of guide/hotkeys binding interface that tells me what other actions i can take and what keys on my keyboard correspond to that action if there isn't a button that already does it, atleast i played through almost half the story without knowing i can hide the textbox till i started hitting random keys ,yk to uhh... better appreciate the "special illustrations", yes..., totally..., don't give me that look. That aside the story itself also leaves some to be desired, like what about the other side characters like Pauline & Isobel, Effie & Liesolette has something going on aswell (a side-story plz ebi?), heck even Constance, i'd want the story to shine the spotlight to the side characters more and show why they act the way they do for Pauline n Isobel, it'd be great if there's a sequel where Constance can redeem herself and find happiness, i pitied her loneliness that was similar to other characters present in the story but her attitude just ticks me off so much i want her redemption arc lol, and much as i do want to understand Pauline & Isobel they can go *** in a ditch. But after all, for the game's price i guess i can't be asking for that much details on the side characters, or could I ?.
While there was indeed quite alot of disliked things, what i disliked was mostly preference or minor points in general as well as me asking for too much. I also have alot of great things to say about the game. First of all the music are incredible, i really liked the opening song "Blackberry Honey", i find myself returning to give the opening a listen even after i've finished the story. The bgm during the story itself is great too, else they wouldn't call this a "tale about maids, MUSIC, and unexpected romance". On that note I also love the settings of the story, they really nailed the England vibe and MAIDS, ENGLISH MAIDS, LESBIAN ENGLISH MAIDS(ONE OF EM IS EVEN MUSICAL!?!), i digress, the bgm and story fits the settings harmoniously as well and each of them compliment one another. Speaking of the story, while it did leave some cliffhangers with some side characters through some unexpected developments, i find the story of Taohua and Lorina to be fulfilling till the end, their interactions have me hooked on every word, heck probably even every character, i'm glad they came (haha dirty joke very funny yes) to terms with eachother and bare their feelings naked while literally... embracing eachother naked, i'm not complaining though... it made me feel all fuwa fuwa and fluffy inside, definitely would recommend.

I recommend it solely because it's yuri!
The pace of the story was a tad too slow for me and I ended up skipping through quite a bit; there was a lot of dialogue with the other maids that did not feel like it really mattered neither in the progress with TaoHua nor Constance, and I ended up skipping through quite a bit.
HOWEVER! The art (especially for the sex scenes is gorgeous) and I really enjoy their characters. The way she calls TaoHua 'mistress' eventually is just FHUISDFJUIS !!!!!!! And there's a LOT of smutty scenes once they admit their feelings hehe....
Good points and bad points! Definitely deserving of the recommendation :D
Sesbian Lex is awesome, 9/10 cause two scenes make it difficult to recommend to sesbian enjoyers
