i'm concerned for anyone who buys or plays this. stop it get some help

this game is actually really fun in my opinion you can do a lot within it I wish there was more games like this , it also is not purely a sex game every 2 minutes but also other stuff. the ability to really do whatever makes this game so much more better.
Worth giving a full play through in my opinion

tried everything to get the game to work, it crashed 30 seconds after launch. everything ive read from the devs has been tried and it still wont work.
if someone could help me make the game playable id gladly give another review but after the last few hours of trying i cant play it and am considering getting a refund

My standard for grading: If the game costs the same as going to the pub on a Friday for a couple drinks but you would have more fun with the game then it is a good game!

I don't much care for the randomness of the game, basically played with a guide the whole time. I think that's more of a personal preference thing. I don't have any other complaints. I like the character design and special scenes are worth seeing.

Game is alot of fun, the murder mystery was a nice touch

I don't usually review games with obvious sex in them, but the puzzles in this game are really great, and the fact that you have to use different items wisely in different situations is great if you think of it as a puzzle game, and of course the undeniable bonus of successfully solving the puzzles is the sex.

This game is not bad very fun and funny to play. I can honestly say that it feels like a real party with your logical stupid group of friends that want to hangout with each other with a twist and a goal to get the party started by helping them achieve them to they're most intoxicated self or getting laid. The game is quite challenging in its own way. House Party is a one of a kind for sure I give this game a 9.5 out of 10. Thank you for making a experience that i can tell my friends and to replay for different takes on the game.

Very fun when you know the commands but sometimes the frames can be a bit laggy but overall its is a good game.

a lot of NSFW games tend to front load the nsfw and treat gameplay as secondary. this one really puts the game before the NSFW content. even if you follow a guide to get to the *cough* desired ending of the game *cough*, (pardon my throat!) you will have played out an entire sexual comedy film plot straight out of the 90s.

a lot of games like put you in the role of some guy who is supposed to be like a general looser or something. but here you can choose a gender, which comes with its own list of men and women who will engage with you, your status as "friend of a friend of the host" gives you the outsider status that lets you get to know the NPCs while still letting you kind of role play your backstory and personality the way YOU want to be.

some of the controls are clunky, especially on controller. while there is controller support, you can kinda "feel" some weirdness in the way your character controls. for me, combat is to be avoided at all costs because of this. on that note, Save often, not just for like, undoing a bad decision, but just in case you accidentally whipped your bits out and suckered Stephanie in the face because you didn't know you were in combat mode.

the NPCs are also very well written, even the characters that feel out of place at first have a lot of depth, and the interpersonal relationships between the NPCs and the histories they share makes this party, and its cast of personalities, feel like a real living breathing friend group that the main character got roped into hanging out with.

i just wanted to do the thing real quick not do dam missions, if its like this in real life i would rather not have a girl.

This is a decently fun game, the graphics are nice and all the girls look really hot. The customization is ok but definitely has some of room for improvement. My only issues are one wrong response to a NPC and youre F**ked, or even if you say something to someone at the wrong time you can ruin an entire quest line or even multiple quest lines. You basically cant play this game without a walkthrough open in front you or you are gonna mess something up somewhere.Even with a walkthrough, I usually mess up and have to reload. Which brings me to my other issue. Its like Skyrim on steroids the amount of times you have to save your game. Sometimes i feel like I spend more time saving then I spend actually playing. Not often do video games make me crack up laughing from the dialog but this one has many times. Overall I do love this game and I hope they keep updating and adding stuff and I hope with Office Party they will make it more random with more immersive decision making.

Walked into an empty house when I started a new game. Restarted and half of the characters missing.

Amazing game with a ton of replyability and really solid graphics without being taxing. The ability to make your own custom stories with their Unity files makes it even better. It's kind of a big undertaking without a lot of source material online for quick answers but whenever I've hopped on Discord for an answer, someone in their community has been pretty quick to respond. The one time I had to put a ticket in, their developers got back to me really quickly and took a ton of time with me as we went back and forth trying to diagnose the problem. All and all, worth checking out if you like point and click narrative games or want to get into some video game design yourself, especially with the sequel slash spiritual successor coming out soon.

This is not a well put together game. It does not run smooth, the interactions are lacking, and the plot isn't good. This game is not worth the money it is priced at, I say this is a $10 at best. Wish i could get a refund.

Wish there was an "in the middle" rating. This game is really funny and I had a ton of fun with it, but its extremely finnicky with triggering events and its almost impossible to figure out the majority of puzzles without a guide of some kind. Even if you understand the gist of what you need to do, the specific way to trigger it will usually not be obvious.

I tried to complete the katherine route without a guide and i did it perfectly near the end where i took my clothes off in front of everyone and it ended the quest.

Really love the main story of the game so far, funny stuff! Obviously it's meant to be satire, almost parody and shouldn't be taken seriously. The characters are pretty stereotypical but in their own comedic way.

If you're looking for just adult content, this game isn't for you. It's a lot of talking back and forth between characters, picking up items and requires a lot of patience as you'll need to restart a few times. I usually create backup saves to fall back to if needs be. If Frank or Leah are trying to beat you up etc.

As time progresses further into the game, you really do get into the story if you like a storyline type of game like me. Rachael is one of my favourites, her personality and style are definitely very me coded.

One thing I can think of for criticism, would definitely be the way the story progresses. It's the way it works but can get super confusing, as said before it's a lot of back and forth information gathering and with the amount of characters, it can easily become muddled who you've spoken to and haven't regarding a main objective you've started, leading onto side objectives as well.

Overall, I think it's a great drama game for the ones who live for it! If that's right up your alley, then go for it!

When i bought this there was no Explicit Content Add On and it was included in the game, now there is and i need to pay for that.

Game play is a blast! Very entertaining and I appreciate how starting again is never the same adventure. Just started to get into the game but am very much looking forward to an eventful experience!

Don't buy this. I bought this game a long time ago during the days when it was still in early access and having not played in a long time, I came back only to find out to get any explicit content, I need to pay to get it, or jump through hoops to get.

Just ignore it. Tons of other AO only games and those actually give you the AO stuff.

The main thing about this may be or is that is might have scenes for grown up.
But since steam is censoring this in my country ...

If you want the game for the "Story" there are much better games that have a Real Story and a nice "Plot"

without the "Grown up Scenes"

You could get the "remove the blocker of the grown up Scenes" and pay extra for it.



That might be a way or you just get it directly at E e K Games that might be an even better way.
Or you might get it from G o G or somewhere else

Cons:
Atmosphere is often broken cause of inacurate things like:
There is a pool party and after the NPCs walk into the pool with full clothes on till their belly they are suddenly when they alrdy sit "strip ped to the underwear" or there is "kissing" where the mouths dont fit exactly and this is an "air Kiss" or there is "touching" where there is an Air gap
That will kill the Atmosphere or at least breaks your Fantasy of diving into the game if you dont mind to overlook so many "incorrect, inaccurate placements and Details"
With a little polishing this "might" be a real funny game.

Highlighting:
You have to guess a lot reminds me of the old and Silly Adventures of the 90tys where you ran around trying to click everywhere without a Clue what might be the next action
and if you got no "walkthrough" you might end in FRustration.

Pros:
It is some fun as a Walking and Try out simulator or whatever this game wants to be

This game is a "draft" that would need a lot of work so it might be like some "nearly finished something"
but its not a "ready to play and have fun" game at least not for me.

Overall i would give it a neutral rating, you can play this but dont expect Wonders.
