Has it cons, has it pros, but if you don't expect miracles from this game you can enjoy quite nice story and setting with 3 different characters, meaningful (but not great and sometimes a bit unclear) choices and interesting, but uneven playstyle.
If you are looking for a AA class, stealth survival game in alternative near future setting AND you are "immune" to somewhat big amount of WOT posters (belive me, totally ignorable) AND if you get some nice deal for it on sale I can recommend it with clear conscience and encourage you to give this game a chance and there are good chances you won't regret.

Left Alive introduces an interesting premise but fails to deliver on its potential.
The gameplay is clunky and extremely frustrating to engage with.
Cutscenes feel drastically disconnected from the actual gameplay experience.
The game is riddled with bugs, abandoned by developers with no updates, making it nearly unplayable in its current state.

I understand how the difficulty of this game turns people off but if you set it to "Casual" difficulty, it gets a lot easier and you can experience what is a great game in my opinion. I don't think it's worth a full $59.99 anymore (maybe for the first 6 months) but it's definitely worth every bit of it's regular sale price ($5.99).
It's just one of many games that gets a bad rap that's undeserved. Are there things that could use fixing? Definitely. But is it a bad game? Not at all. I think the storyline is actually pretty good and I love the environment it takes place in.
Basically, one nation invades another and you play as three characters caught in the middle of the war zone. It gives a different perspective during wartime, preferring to show it from the civilian's point of view, or the survivor's point of view. You are not only responsible for keeping yourself alive (with very little at your disposal) but you are also tasked with rescuing civilians. You don't have to save them if you don't want to which is cool that they give you the choice. But they can also be killed before you even reach them in some cases.
You also have multiple dialogue options as well when speaking to NPCs which allows for different outcomes though the main storyline won't be majorly affected.
I definitely recommend anyone who enjoys 3rd person action/adventure games especially if you enjoyed the more recent Metal Gear Solid titles.
No. Just No. I'm not wasting my time giving it some ultra deep review, when it wasted my time by existing. You probably saw it was under a fiver during the most recent sale that ended. Don't buy it. If it is already too late, and you did buy it. DO NOT TOUCH HOPELESS DIFFICULTY, UNLESS YOU HATE YOURSELF.

One of the controversial games, sometimes it makes you angry, but i liked it - 7.5/10

Released, had one update that didn't fix anything then was abandoned. Lots of bugs, gameplay is horrible, and will most likely crash.
