This is why metroid cant crawl.
Where to start with this one...
Stolen SFX, heavily """"""inspired"""""" enemies, crazy large levels of tedious randomised game play and what happened with the controls???
I think that last one was the last straw for me. The mapping is all over the place and made me feel like I would have an easier time trying to play Dark Souls with a dance matt controller. The thing is I know that steam could let me remap my controls but that doesn't help the sometimes but not always attack mechanics.
So if you jump and shoot and kinda keep moving just right you can fire and move but it always wants to lock you in place, now I could deal with that... if it let you at least change direction you was firing while locked in position which as you can guess it doesn't, though why they couldn't have a locked and shoot and run and shoot buttons, there is more than enough buttons on 360 controllers and keyboards...
Got this on sale and its not even worth the effort of me filing for a refund. Buyer beware. This isn't a "So bad its good/funny" its just bad.
With that said time to do something more fun! I'm off to bust out the dance matt and get through blight town,
like metroid but worse
Would not of gotten it if I hadn't had a coupon for it, and now that I played it, I wish I didn't use that coupon. Not a great game, very boring, stolen SFX. Worst .50 cents I've spent on a game, would've rather got a gumball at the grocery store tbh.
More repetitive than my OCD rituals.
Bestest game of all sex play nau¨!!!!!!!
Had a coupon for 50% off this game and at $.49 I figured why not. Others have said it all already. Not good game play, stolen SFX, xenomorphs spitting acid at you. It was fun for the first few minutes until I figured out what I had to do. I beat the first level, which was very annoying, and came back to see what the reviews looked like. I am shocked to see any thumbs up. Especially one from someone who didn't know how to jump in the game.
If you like the colors and want to grind for a few minutes, $.49 wouldn't be a total waste of money, but you could have more fun for $.50 at an arcade.
Ehh - worth its price.
Good for 15 min from time to time but...
Amount of nonsense repetitions makes me sad.
Someone ought to make a patch for second play mode: not grinding and faster.
Short game is not always an issue.
I am not sure why (maybe for dev) hand up.
this game is the very nice how do i jump btw
Decided to buy the game after receiving a coupon. I immediately regret it.
Wouldn't even play this if it was a free game.
Controls are janky. Level design/platforming is bad. Gameplay is boring and repetitive. Text/dialogue display is also poorly designed. STOLEN sfx- seriously?
Overall bad experience and no fun at all.
This is probably the worst game I have ever played in my life.
The game is essentially a wheres waldo style of game, you cannot tell that from watching the trailer but it is. Here is how the game works.
Your dropped into a fairly large level and have to find a red robot to kill. When you kill the red robot he drops an item. Bring this item to the generator located somewhere in the level. When you do, all the enemies respawn including the red robot. The catch is the red robots location is completely random, so you have to search through the level until you find him again. You have to repeat this process...TEN times, yes you read that right, 10 times. After the 10th time you get a key to open a door. When you open this door you are given another key to open a door on the opposite side of the level, open that door and you are given an item which you bring to the starting point and that nukes the board allowing you to progress.
The next level is exactly the same only the red robot is replaced with an orange rock monster.
I don't know how anyone could have thought this game would be fun, I don't know how anyone thought that wandering around a huge level finding a randomnly placed enemy 10 times in a row would be enjoyable by anyone. I kept playing because I was in a state of shock that a person actually thought this would be a good idea for a game, sat down for god knows how long to make the game, and then have the nerve to charge people real money for it. I was willing to ignore the stolen assets, the terrible control scheme, and the foggy graphics to give this game a legit shot, but the design here is flawed beyond belief and I cannot imagine anyone enjoying this.
