Must buy in general, but especially so if you're looking to try the Hitman series or stealth genre as a whole for a cheap price. Insane amounts of creativity permitted and so much replayability. Crazy you can get this for just 10 bucks on here nowadays (even LOWER if it's on sale, which it goes on frequently. Seriously if you're looking to get some bang for 10 dollars or less on steam this is one of the best options imo.)

Used to work fine have around 77 hours logged, but now profiles are broken steam cloud wont sync and you cant create new profiles, tried downloading a profile but game wont find that either, in short game is now completely unplayable

It's a beautiful game of strategy and patience in a delicate puzzle. Being the Ghost is difficult but worth it for the Agency. Story is engaging but it isn't too long. How long you take to complete the level is what determines the length of the game.

Went into this after first playing the WoA games as my first experience with Hitman. Though it took some getting used to, I can absolutely see why so many fans consider this game the best in the series. As always, the biggest factor that carries this game is the completion of the fantasy of "being" the silent assassin; Jesper Kyd's soundtrack is phenomenal, the story is dark and gruesome and doesn't try to make Agent 47 look like some superspy like James Bond, and the orgasmic release of finishing a mission and seeing the "Silent Assassin" rating at the bottom of the screen is as rewarding as ever.

Though this game may feel more punishing than the newer ones, I highly recommend anyone who hasn't played the older Hitman games and only touched WoA play this game and see why so many regard it a classic.

This was a fantastic game. I'm playing through all of the Hitman games in order of release and I must say that this one felt like it combined everything the previous games did and amplified them. It truly felt like this was everything that Io Interactive was building up to. The story was top-notch, the atmosphere was top-notch, the locations were top-notch, everything was just really well done. Not to mention that this is a PS2 game, yet it still has aged beautifully in my opinion. The graphics were another thing that was cool to see. It is clearly an old game, but the jump from the almost identical graphics of Codename 47, Silent Assassin, and Contracts to this is astounding. Even though I was not a big fan of a few locations, namely the Mardi Gras mission and a few others that just felt a bit too plain or confusing on what to do (not bad, though), the majority of the locations were quite detailed and entertaining to play through.

(Possibly a slight spoiler warning): I also love how they incorporated the main menu into the story. The change in the main menu in accordance with the story being told through the extremely captivating cutscenes before each mission and the way it ties into the incredible climax and plot-twist at the end of the game was very fun to watch.

Overall, this game has aged greatly and there are very few things that I could come up with to criticize the game, and if I did they would just be nitpicky. At $0.99 on sale, this game is a steal and a joy to play.

I didn't like the first and third levels. Level 2 I liked an 4 was okay, and after that it's quite good.

This game changed my life

So while i was playing this game with my brother in law, some random bald guy in a chicken suit literally murder my entire family with two silenced pistols & a sniper rifle. Apparently my Nephew saw something that he shouldn't be seeing, the police report stated he witnessed this bald guy dumping a body of a police officer inside a refrigerator according to the Camera system, which subsequently costed his life & the death of my entire family. I am currently writing this in a local internet cafe near an insane asylum. My psychiatrist thinks I'm insane because they don't believe my entire story, so she booked me in the Insane asylum for mental treatment, but i haven't been able to recover ever since.

Oh yeah, the game, 10/10 would play again 👍

Very fun game, hard for beginners but if u give it time you learn it and it becomes very fun.

Its the classic Hitman game. With Absolution and the others after that, the classic style had really changed and if you're interested in playing the earlier games, I think this one takes all the great stuff from the first 3, leaves the annoying aspects behind and just simply improves on the entire formula of the classic Hitman style of games.

Originally played this on PS2, it's an absolute classic. This game, and franchise, fills the trifecta with Stealth games for me: Hitman, Metal Gear Solid, Splinter Cell, where Hitman fills a specific niche that no other game has come close to achieve.

The game itself has some great mechanics and graphics, the controls are not the best, the missions suck.

This was the first game I have completed in my life, and I did it in 2019, when I was 10 years old, I first completed this in PlayStation 2, and this game is still amazing, the OST is incredible, and the story is well written.

This is my first ever Hitman game. I never played one before this, and I know little to nothing about it other than it reminded me of Splinter Cell in many ways

For a game from 2006, it definitely outperforms erry other 6th gen game I played on here by far. I've played so many PS2 ports and 6th gen games in general that're as or more demanding than modern AAAs. It's so depressing seeing a 20yo game pull like 20W+ on my Deck smh

The controls are very bad. There is no controller support, even after all these years. Some defaults aren't set, so I ended up having to work my way around it. I honestly don't have that much patience for this game

It's great on SD OLED and would definitely recommend it, especially for $0.99! There are no achievements, controls are terrible, it's difficult to navigate the menus with a mouse as it's very unresponsive, but other than that, it's very playable and can last you up to 8h at 60fps as it should

Pretty cool game where you play as an angry bald man. Technically, you can just shoot everything like a madman and still relatively easily complete the game. So stealth part is optional.

This allows the player to not be hassled with slowing down near an enemy in worry of being discovered. It picks up the pace a bit opposed to Contracts and Silent Assassin.

The satire still has bite almost 20 years later (moreso than World of Assassination). Blood Money offers you targets that are incredibly unsavory characters, and this gives the player impetus to want to be more inventive with the kills. Blood Money also has most realistic parallel to the world we live in today, which makes it the most exciting plot wise. WOA can be almost too over the top. Blood Money deftly balances satire with a slight hint of realism.

The sandbox element is the best of the classic series. I'm still discovering new ways to complete an objective. While it lacks the dizzying amount of variety to complete the objective like World of Assassination, it offers more than enough freedom to replay each mission countless ways. This game does not hold your hand in any manner, so expect it to play more like a sandbox puzzle than WOA. Good luck, Agent 47.

This game really sucks on the deck. Controls are sometimes not responsive and the game didnt age well. the water was very good looking tho...

You can spend hours alone just figuring out some levels and yeah it may be a little annoying at some points trying to figure out what to do and how to do it i think the game could use objectives but its still fun figuring it out on a whole this game is definitely fun and replayable

Agent 47 is basically Johnny Sins because he makes his targets moan... in a different way.

You can push a person to the ground, or down the stairs, or if their head hits a wall knock them out, or if there's a railing watch them fly over. You can drop a gun and watch an NPC steal it, or a guard take it back to their office. Start killing people and NPC might beg for their life or if there's a gun on the ground they may try to defend themselves. You can shoot people through doors. You can shoot doors open. This is all in addition to the great things said in the other positive reviews. They just don't make them like this anymore.

Really good game, however it is a bit janky due to its age, i would say it only has one bad mission and that is death on the Mississippi. Otherwise its great.

Its clear that Hitman: Blood Money is a fan favourite and a bit of a all-time classic, so it pains me to say I can not recommend it. It runs well, looks fine and has some incredibly well made levels that allow players to explore and discover a wealth of assassination options that are available to them. Sadly, it is a real pain to control. After 5 hours of trying to get to grips with the mouse & keyboard controls and the context sensitive button prompts, I gave in to frustration and brought my time with the game to an end.

With decent controller support, this would easily be a strong Recommend from me but unless you are familiar with this type of control system, or are willing to invest time and energy to master it, its a thumbs-down.
