I enjoy luring the entire level into an elevator and having a lair of bodies slowly pile up in the elevator shaft.
Simple game yet really fun execution.
This game got one of the best music ever a cool end and agent 47 , great game worth buying .
Hitman: Blood Money - A Dark Symphony of Strategy and Suspense
Hitman: Blood Money is a masterpiece in the stealth-action genre, delivering an exhilarating experience that has aged like fine wine. As the fourth entry in the Hitman series, it refines the formula, offering players the perfect balance between creative freedom and challenging gameplay.
The game’s standout feature is its level design. Each mission feels like a carefully crafted sandbox, offering multiple paths and methods to execute your targets. Whether you choose a subtle approach involving poison and disguises or go loud with guns blazing, the game rewards experimentation and strategic planning. The iconic "Curtains Down" mission at the opera house exemplifies this brilliance, allowing for an ingenious accident kill with a prop gun swap.
Agent 47’s tools of the trade are diverse and satisfying to use. Customizable weapons and gadgets add a personal touch to your assassination style, while the intuitive planning phase before missions lets you feel like a professional hitman. The inclusion of a notoriety system introduces a dynamic consequence for your actions, encouraging players to prioritize stealth and efficiency.
The music, composed by Jesper Kyd, is a key highlight. The hauntingly beautiful score blends orchestral and electronic elements, perfectly capturing the tension and drama of the missions. Iconic tracks like "Ave Maria" during pivotal moments add emotional weight, while dynamic music shifts during gameplay adapt to your actions, enhancing immersion.
Adding to this is the dark atmosphere that permeates the game. The environments feel both vibrant and sinister, from the glitzy casinos of Las Vegas to the eerie carnivals and corrupt mansions. The interplay of shadowy visuals, morally ambiguous settings, and NPC interactions creates a gritty and foreboding mood, drawing players deeper into the morally complex world of Agent 47.
The storyline, while not the central focus, ties the missions together with intrigue and style. The glimpses into Agent 47’s past and his battles with rival assassins add depth to the character and the world.
Hitman: Blood Money's combination of strategic gameplay, memorable missions, an evocative soundtrack, and a dark, immersive atmosphere make it a standout in the series. Whether you’re a longtime fan of the franchise or a newcomer looking for a thrilling stealth experience, this game is a must-play. Its legacy is well-deserved, standing as a shining example of what makes the Hitman series so beloved.

крутая игра убиавать прикольно особенно от первого лица
THIS IS NOW MY FAVORITE GAME and SERIES I used to play Hitman as a kid but I have never appreciated it until now that I'm older and wiser. Thank you Hitman Agent 47!
Interactive and fun game with multiple ways to complete a mission and good stealth mechanics
Pretty cool game where you play as an angry bald man. Technically, you can just shoot everything like a madman and still relatively easily complete the game. So stealth part is optional.
it great for killing the people like kill everyone challenge. OG, GOAT love it and the story.
The benchmark for the series. It stripped back the proximity of disguise mechanic of the previous entries, but evolved the series into what World of Assassination would later pick up again. This allows the player to not be hassled with slowing down near an enemy in worry of being discovered. It picks up the pace a bit opposed to Contracts and Silent Assassin.
The satire still has bite almost 20 years later (moreso than World of Assassination). Blood Money offers you targets that are incredibly unsavory characters, and this gives the player impetus to want to be more inventive with the kills. Blood Money also has most realistic parallel to the world we live in today, which makes it the most exciting plot wise. WOA can be almost too over the top. Blood Money deftly balances satire with a slight hint of realism.
The sandbox element is the best of the classic series. I'm still discovering new ways to complete an objective. While it lacks the dizzying amount of variety to complete the objective like World of Assassination, it offers more than enough freedom to replay each mission countless ways. This game does not hold your hand in any manner, so expect it to play more like a sandbox puzzle than WOA. Good luck, Agent 47.
This game really sucks on the deck. Controls are sometimes not responsive and the game didnt age well. the water was very good looking tho...
You can spend hours alone just figuring out some levels and yeah it may be a little annoying at some points trying to figure out what to do and how to do it i think the game could use objectives but its still fun figuring it out on a whole this game is definitely fun and replayable
goated game, we need a remake asap
top gameplay even after years
honestly for a game this old, its one of the best story games ive ever played
I have played this game since it came out for ps2/xbox, i have bought it many times, I will play it until I die
Game did not age well at all. There might be a classic hidden under poorly aged tutorials and instructions. Belongs in a history museum for it's impact, not in a modern gaming library.
Agent 47 is basically Johnny Sins because he makes his targets moan... in a different way.
You can push a person to the ground, or down the stairs, or if their head hits a wall knock them out, or if there's a railing watch them fly over. You can drop a gun and watch an NPC steal it, or a guard take it back to their office. Start killing people and NPC might beg for their life or if there's a gun on the ground they may try to defend themselves. You can shoot people through doors. You can shoot doors open. This is all in addition to the great things said in the other positive reviews. They just don't make them like this anymore.
Names are for friends, so i wont need one.
Janky and quite obtuse if you're used to the WOA trilogy, but the soundtrack is magnificent and the levels are fun and creative.
Really good game, however it is a bit janky due to its age, i would say it only has one bad mission and that is death on the Mississippi. Otherwise its great.
Its clear that Hitman: Blood Money is a fan favourite and a bit of a all-time classic, so it pains me to say I can not recommend it. It runs well, looks fine and has some incredibly well made levels that allow players to explore and discover a wealth of assassination options that are available to them. Sadly, it is a real pain to control. After 5 hours of trying to get to grips with the mouse & keyboard controls and the context sensitive button prompts, I gave in to frustration and brought my time with the game to an end.
With decent controller support, this would easily be a strong Recommend from me but unless you are familiar with this type of control system, or are willing to invest time and energy to master it, its a thumbs-down.
wtf these pc controls more likely to shoot yourself than the enemies
One of the best games i play even till today.Everthing is fun to explore just like the latest Hitman. The only downside of the game i can tell is the controls.I hope there will be compatability update for the mapping buttons.
it's good. really good
get it its so fun it might be a bit annoying but its still fun
u can literally pick up a shotgun and blast everyone to bits
A damn good game and its crazy to think that it was released in 2006. Gameplay, level design, soundtrack, story, I can go on and on, its all just incredible. Very much ahead of its time. Its a 10/10, simple as that.
was SO VERY EXCITED to replay this after so many years. Too excited.... forgot to check for controller support, then when i found out it didnt have controller support i tried to play it anyways, and it just gets stuck on the binoclars when i try to play.... so so disappointed... any way to get a refund?
The best Hitman game ever, something that is linked to my childhood. Everything is perfect about this game, nothing bad I can say about it.
I played this game after Hitman World Of Assassination and it's really good even though I had a lower expectations and I'm happy I did, I recommend this if you liked the World Of Assassination trilogy because this game was ahead of it's time, definitely deserve a good remaster.
bettter 47 better maps better weapons and BETTER CAMPANY!!!!!
You play as Beckett James Turner and it's really fun playing as Beckett James Turner, a BALD man.
The GOAT of the older games. Mostly a bug and frustration free experience - just putting the pieces together in the puzzle until it clicks and you get killing. As always, immaculate sound track.
FIrstly, let me say that I grew up playing the hitman games since I was 10-11 years old. I have hundreds of hours of gametime in this franchise. Iam now 29 and I have come back to the game after 18 years and Its been an absolute pleasure. Its brought back many good memories. Iam suprised that even today in the year 2024 it holds its own very well and it shows how advanced it was for its time. The only thing that would make me happier is that they remaster it to better graphics and they add a few more guns or actions. Its an absolute masterpiece and its the only game I have played that has such an amazing plot twist at the end with the mission requiem. Specifically, I remember in 2006 my 11 year old me getting to that mission and feeling sad that 47 passed away and by accident by pushing a few buttons he wakes up and you finish the game with an absolute bang. Its an absolute must that Hitman fans play this game.
Fun killing and murdering
The level design is infallible, allowing for different methods of execution depending on your playstyle. The trial and error in figuring out your preferred hit is addictive as hell. The game really is as good as its rated.
5/5
The best most polished concept-wise hitman game ever.
plays great on oled deck 90 fps up until end of 1st mission and crashes on me.but good so far on my pc
Peak Hitman for me; gameplay is much better than those that came before but isn't as refined as the World of Assassination trilogy. However, the story is probably the best of any Hitman game and has some of the more creative levels of the series.
My first introduction to the Hitman series
I played this game a lot, to describe the experience itself, it is much like hunting.
It requires patience and looking for patterns, waiting for the right moment, this game rewards stealth and leaving no witnesses behind, kill your targets make sure no one sees your face or anything suspicious and get out.
If you are not patient I do not recommend this game, you have to be smart, not run and gun, you can do that but, there are consequences for it.
The fan favorite, but not mine. I think this is the second best after the "World of Assassins" trilogy (which I count as one huge game). The potential of this franchise was finally realized here and I still think that there are a few cool things this game even does better than WoA, but most things are actually improved there and I like it more due to the sheer amount of approaches that one allows for. Just a fantastic game and basically a must for stealth fans.
the controls are horrible like many games of this time these tards thought they could reinvent the wheel.
Bald Man Kill Money. Good.
I wish there were in-game challenges / incentives to replay each mission using different tactics / weapons, just like the newer World of Assassination trilogy games. This was still really fun.
Assassination accidentally turned into massacre :)
This game is a classic. The gameplay and level design are both fun and timeless. The soundtrack is amazing, and the sound design is great too, with David Bateson being the perfect voice actor for Agent 47. My only criticism is the mediocre story.
Okay, I admit I am OBSESSED with this game. I think I downloaded this game during the pandemic within the 4 Years, I've played for 523 Hours = That equates to a little over 3 Weeks worth.
Absolutely Love it, Love it more than Absolution or any of the new ones. It has a strong Arcade feeling with not just eliminating your targets in different ways, You can either complete your quests Silent Assassin style, or you can go guns blazing, and guns blazing on Professional Difficulty with no body armor, no silencers, and lastly no extra ammunition every hit must not miss... it's really something.
The best part is the ranking system at the end of a level and the newspaper that reports on if you hit or miss the newspaper reports on how you performed in the level can't precisely describe it in words, the feeling but it has me coming back to it again and again. By now I know Blood Money I can play the levels in my head.
I sorta do the same run & gun style of gameplay in the other Hitman games but it's not like Blood Money where you can strategically challenge yourself or find Sniper positions in the various levels and snipe down armed NPCs that pursue you on alert mode, the reactions of unarmed NPCs when you shoot someone,
the SPAS12 is really fun at close range, attach the silencer and you sneak up on armed guards and pop them from behind, the satisfaction is infinitely good.
The Immense amount of detail in the PS2 & Xbox generation game is also very impressive about this game, this game you know IO Interactive gave it there all in their 3rd Release of Hitman in a sixth-generation console. The weapons customization is incredible, from silencers, to red dot sighting, extra ammo, grips for M4s and MP5s the long slides for Silverballers, all the short/long scopes and different barrels for higher precision on the W2000 Sniper Rifle, you can be stealthy or you can go in loud, the flexibility in how you wanna complete each level. There's nothing like it!
Finally, would I recommend it? Answer is 'Yes' if you're a Hitman fan = Yes, if you like 3rd Person Shooters = Yes, if your a nostalgia player, you like old games = This is a Gem! If you just came home from a hard day of work and wanna wind down drink a cool beverage, relax and play a good game = Highly Recommend you give Hitman: Blood Money a try.
Read some complains about incompatibility issues...might want to double check your setup ! A classic of the genre, great atmosphere, the soundtrack being most helpful. Graphics are dated but not horrible. The game still succeed at making you feel like a pro assassin and still is very emersive. ++ It's super cheap for what it is. Highly recommend !!
If this game is on discount or not, it is worth it. If you've heard of Hitman, you know about Blood Money. The crown prince of the franchise, so to speak. Amazing story, gameplay is not like the new trilogy at all, so don't expect them to be similar, it is awesome nonetheless. Also, why are you reading reviews, you know this game is great, BUY IT ALREADY!
