This transforms Paradiddle into an extremely powerful audio creation tool.
- Peripheral support for kick and hi-hat. Any USB peripheral that can emulate keyboard input (such as USB pedals) can be used in Paradiddle as a way to trigger the kick drum or control the hi-hat.
- ASIO Support. Audio enthusiasts that want maximum customization of their audio settings can switch their output device to ASIO. By default, the app uses WASAPI, and a lot of time was spent to ensure that the latency was kept to a minimum with the default settings.
- Customise settings like pitch and max volume for each individual drum. These settings will expand in the future to give users greater control over the sound that comes out of their drums.

cool game my only gripe is that the steam version doesn't support mixed reality drums.
i heard people have issues with this game on the quest 3s ( im new to VR BTW just got it on christmas) But i realise that if you bought this game on steam and you use AIR LINK Wireless or with a cable ( On the Desktop app Meta quest link or Steam VR ) this game got a pop up saying its not for the vr you use !!! after you click ok (iDGAF LOl) the game is not full screen and unplayable (i see the background but nothing works ! ) BUT if you buy the game on steam and you use STEAM LINK ( in game app on the vr meta store) work like a charm ! i am sorry, kinda drunk. almost new eve LOL and im french Canadian ahah thats why my english is bad x)

I drummed thrash metal until my shoulders, wrists and arms were in the shape of a 90 year old man with severe scoliosis... 10/10.
One thing that this game could benefit from in the future is to make it easier to get drums/drum sounds/drum sets that fit different genres. Maybe make it possible to implement mods in the future? perchance
Typed out a while paragraph long review, steam closed randomly, so I'll keep it short and simple. 5/5 stars. Sometimes the wrong thing gets hit if you have some pieces overlapping, so build your own set. It is quite difficult, there is 0 response delay (On Quest 2) and is extreme;y fun. You can also get a $16 Foot Pedal for the Kick Drum, which I am going to do. The game is extremely fun, already have 14 hours in 3 days. It is pretty much a $25 drum set that tells you when to hit what, and without all the noise with a basic drum set. Some people may argue that a regular drum set is better, but this game is perfect for practicing what parts to hit when. (Also, adding custom songs will be extremely helpful if you need to practice.)
10/10 would 100% buy in a different lifetime!!!
If you like drums, if you have ever felt any interest in the art of drumming in your life, this game alone will justify the investment in a good VR system. It will blow your mind how "real" it feels. The songs are just great! Overall, remarkable achievement!

I don't own this game on steam anymore (refunded it a year or so ago and repurchased on standalone quest) and I have 250+ hours on this game. I can safely say it's one of the best games I've ever played vr or flat screen. Genuinely can help you rhythm and stuff like that.

GOOD GAME PLAY IT
Drumming is one of my hobbies irl so when I saw this, it looked too good to be true, but this game is great! It's extremely responsive, you can set up hi hat pedals and kick pedals with foot trackers, and you can customise your kit anyway you like, change the volume and pitch on your drums or cymbals, move them around, experiment with different ones, etc. Being able to download custom songs and play those makes this game have infinite replay-ability, and in some cases of my own, has taught me how to play the song irl!
This game is 100% worth full price if you're a drummer into VR games or an aspiring drummer that enjoys VR games!
I'm. Not happy. I bought a while ago. Started drumming on v drums, and now that it's not working, I can't even get refund... I want to buy on quest store.
I'm really sad, because I gave my money and can't play mixed reality.
I connect my headset via cable to pc. When connected to pc, there is no passtrough.. I can't see what's around me. But that's what I've seen in the ads.
I know some dudes made it with virtual desktop, but I don't get it. I can't figure out...
good way to learn with out spending money on equipment
The best VR Game i ever played as an Drummer IRL. Its so responsive, its soo good...I LOVE IT !!!
if you never play drums its a good and cheap way to learn its also easy to add custom songs
it does say when u launch it that quest is not support but just press ok and the game launch and everything works fine

Paradiddle is a fun and beautiful game, especially for beginners wanting to try drumming. Also if you have no other option, for example edrums, this might be your best option. The option to customize drum kits completely from scratch is a fun way to explore and learn different kind of setups. However, I personally found it a bit awkward because you can't physically feel the drums, which took away some of the immersion for me (I have played real drums for like 20 years so no wonder..). Also, I experienced noticeable latency when playing on the Quest 2, which made it harder to stay on beat. I can't confirm if this improves when playing natively on Quest 2 or without Steam Link on PC. Overall fun game, but this is sadly not made for me.
I am recommending this game because it is fun, even tho I personally have some issues with it. If you are a beginner who wants to try drumming for the first time, but don't have any other option than this VR game, go for it. But for more experienced players I can safely say that even if this might be just a FUN game, your best option is to play with real drums.
Also I don't recommend this game to be played with Quest 2. Steam Link streaming is giving a little latency, not much but enough to make me lose the tempo of the song.

Best VR music experience I've ever had. I'll often just close my eyes and get into the drumming, I've never felt that level of immersion in a VR music game. Buy a USB foot pedal if you're looking for something cheap, I got mine for 8 dollars and the setup was really easy. It took about an hour to get used to the feel of the USB foot pedal, its not the same feel as a real kick pedal, but it makes the experience so much better. There's an insane amount of support info on their website, and there is a paradb website with a ton of custom songs. I have a feeling the developer has a real love and passion for drumming. By far the best VR music game in my opinion.
its a good game but its file system for custom songs is bad you need a MIDI file just to do custom songs not even mp3s.
