In this endless pixel adventure, you have to research hundreds of caves, avoid all dangers, fly more than a dozen miles on the jetpack and shoot a bunch of creatures.

At just 99 cents, I didn't have high expectations, and it didn't really surprise me. I played for a short while, unlocked all the achievements (I literally just pressed every letter on my keyboard), and then quit. It's an easy game—oddly creepy for some reason.
Low effort asset flip. The game is completely aimless - you wander around procedurally generated levels collecting coins in search of a torch. That's the entire game. The character controls pretty poorly - especially the jetpack, which uncontrollably launches you high in the air. With more content and better refined mechanics this would be a good game. Instead, they decided to not change the asset at all.
Ez to get all achievements 100% just press all of your keyboard letters
GooD for Profile
this is unfortunately garbage. i like the pixel art style and the concept but there is no goal or anything in this game. would love to see a refined version of this
Meh.
nice one
english interface .. but when you out of ammo or you need fast to find the torch
our hero&&&*** will begin to speak in russian
coincidence ?
Unfinished shovelware. It's a step below OG flash games.
nonononononoononononononoonnonononononononono pure masochism did not enjoy a second of it,.
just mash every key on keyboard for achievement. Overall, a waste of money. Feels more like a tech demo than anything.
I take it back, it's good for having achievement text on your profile. Don't buy this game though.
Know the alphabet ?
This one's for you.
Cubamano AKA Sammy Welland released in Aug 2017 1 of the 8 games that are practically the same because they are all an asset from the unity store https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/templates/cave-exploration-starter-kit-37158 . In his defence least he got this thing working unlike the others on steam and did give it a unique soundtrack. But does all this make it worth $2.00???
Blatantly NO. There is no visionary purpose to this game. You simply fly around in a endless generated platform cave looking for a portal pod which will move you to the next level which practically looks the same as the one you just played. There is no end goal, no progress saves, no point. After 1 or 2 minutes you will be extremely bored with the concept.
This demonstrative lack of vision comes with 27 pointless achievements unlocked by pressing every letter key on your keyboard.
Regardless of the fact that it works, you just can't ignore its paper thin content making this as much of a blatant con like cash grab as much as its predecessors and copycats. It's just sad to see that Sammy Welland is mixing company in a Unity Asset den of thieves.
Instead of including a video of this useless asset, instead I've decided to share a video by Jim Stirling who explains the exploitation that comes from asset flipping in very colourful language...

Good for 20p
If you want meaningless and worthless achievements, this game is for you!
EDIT:
I found out that another game called "Caves!", which seems to be EXACTLY the same game as this, has been released. I'll not change the review of this product, but I would like to warn people: buy this, buy the other, buy none of them. But please don't buy both of them.
As a neutral judgement I must say that "No lights" is better due to the improved light effects that do not seem to be present in "Caves!".

REVIEW:
Well, I found a couple of symbologies hidden in this VERY simple game. Maybe it's exactly this simplicity that made me look for "meaning"... and the great and unsettling soundtrack, repeated "ad infinitum", made the rest.
INFINITE, PROCEDURALLY GENERATED LEVELS WITH NO GOALS OR VICTORY CONDITIONS:
In this infinite and uncaring universe there is no "higher" purpose for our lives except the purpose WE choose.
LIGHT AND DARKNESS:
The game is called "No Lights" because, if you pay a little attention, you'll discover that gathering and extinguishing the light sources scattered through the levels is important in order to locate the exit torch. You'll need darkness to see the feeble, shaky light of the exit. Thus darkness is knowledge, light is ignorance.
Overall, No Lights it's a nice experience, deeper than I thought. Longevity isn't obviously the objective the devs had in mind while developing the game, but that's ok for the price tag (I got the game with a coupon). I value the most the feelings and thoughts that this experience evoked.
...
Easiest 100% Achievement Game ever
all you have to do is press "A" - "Z"
***ONLY RECOMMENDED FOR ACHIEVEMENT HUNTERS***
nice
not bad. paid 10 cents for it.
> Get game for 10 cents with coupon
> Open game
> Get every achievement by pressing each letter on your keyboard
> Exit game
> Uninstall
2/10 boring gameplay too
