So, the dev decides to cheat steam system an revoke all the keys he sold (and most probably got his money) back in 2018 on Otaku. That's a great business idea: selling the keys, after that complaining to Steam that keys got stolen or something. Dude, you're the crook! You're the one that chose Otaku to put your keys (which didn't cost you a dime from steam) on sale. If Otaku f***ed you - you should have reacted earlier, not 5 years after the fact. But no, you decided to release a different (NEW) game (replacing the old one, perhaps this way you avoided some expenses on the store) - a fact that got you into this position. Everyone beware: irresponsible dev: gets your keys revoked, even if he gets paid for the sales!!!
As a side note: i must own this product in order to review it: what it feels like getting refunds for your 'product'? I think that anyone who got scammed by you should get this game to be able to review it, then ask for a refund. It's only fair
If you don't want to get scammed by this dev, never buy keys for his games. He'll revoke the key 4-5 years after the purchase.
Gotta say, bought this near release for.. some reason? And I still don't get it.

Short, fast-paced and with a 'hesitation is defeat' gameplay ingrained within, Hare is quite a special game. The overhaul in the special update did change a lot of the aspects of the game, making it way more enjoyable. If you enjoy Platforming and quick decision making, this game is for you.
You take some time to get the hang of it, but it's quite solid for what it proposes. Boldness is rewarded, and some Miracles may help you out over time. More points, more lives, more room to try out and be risky. The boss fights are straight to the point, and the concepts of what to do are easy to grasp.
The first few runs can be a bit rough, if not a little frustrating; but "it's only through our persistence that reality becomes our canvas".
This was a poor game for $1. At $7 it's a ridiculously terrible buy. Also consider that the developer sold keys to third parties 5 years ago and recently revoked all activated paid for keys. Worse is that when questioned about it, the developer shames customers for buying keys from 'questionable' resellers which resellers the developer actually chose to use in the first place. While these sketchy actions may even be illegal, Steam won't do anything about it because the keys weren't bought on Steam. Steam should have a more reasonable policy to prevent developers from abusing Steam clients such as limiting key revocations to a reasonable time period, such as 1 or 2 years after sale (still very generous compared to the refund timing policy) and banning from the Steam platform developers who don't follow these rules. The developer is now banning customers who ask questions about this and appears to be posting fake positive reviews from low level accounts. Steam customers should blacklist this developer by putting this game 'Hare' and the developer's other game 'Drawgaem' on IGNORE and refusing future purchases. I repurchased this game, and then received a refund from Steam.
This game is amazing, but it would be even better if it had a minimap or something to help me see the obstacles ahead. Also, it can get frustrating when I keep respawning in the same spot and dying repeatedly. It would be cool if the game could spawn me on a longer platform after dying. Overall, the game is awesome and these tweaks would make it even more enjoyable; i'm a particular fan of the music and artwork, i'm not sure why the developer decided to upgrade the game after so long but it is an improvement on graphics and gameplay so i guess that is alright, i would probably just name it "Hare 2: Re-haring" but that is just me.
Outstanding Sound track and art, the game is truly eye candy. The gameplay is very foward, dynamic and fast, you will find yourself playing again and again without even noticing, it's addictive. Good price and last but not least it has mommy milkers, nice. Congrats to the game devs and art team for making such a good looking game.
This is a must-buy runner, really appreciate the gameplay, visuals and the music.
One of my first times playing a platformer speed slider, if I can call it this way, and even though I've struggled a lot with the character acceleration and game fast paste, It's been a great experience. I hope this game receives more updates soon.
Very well deisgned game, the new revamp the dev's did, gave a whole new face to the game and its history. highly recommend it for its new mechanics, ui, fun and addictive gameplay !

$5 for a flash game you could play for free online, maybe when it was $0.50 but not worth it anymore
On 7 April 2023, the developers of this game illegally revoked thousands of keys they sold for it on third-party sites ALMOST FIVE YEARS AGO, harming all Steam users who paid for those keys or received them as gifts.
Valve needs to make it harder for developers to simply revoke keys at will like that. In most jurisdictions, according to consumer defense laws, Valve would also be considered legally responsible in cases like this, since it is their Steam platform that allows the generation of those keys and their revocation.
UNTIL PEOPLE START MASS REPORTING THESE CASES FOR FRAUD OR LEGAL VIOLATION, VALVE WON'T DO ANYTHING. SO PLEASE GO TO THE GAME'S STORE PAGE, CLICK ON THE FLAG ICON AND REPORT IT.
Also, report the developers' profiles for scam and blacklist all their games by clicking the IGNORE button on their store pages, so they won't see a cent from any of us ever again.
Finally, under no circumstances send emails to these developers asking for new keys. Not only is the "game" not worth it, but also developers who scam their player base like that cannot be trusted with any of your personal info.
this game i bought legitimately from a 2018 otaku #34 bundle was revoked, and that is a clear violation against the steam distribution agreement
The developer revokes validly purchased games five years after the original purchase which are then removed from the owner's Steam library. Avoid this developer at all costs.
And the majority of positive reviews are from Brazil and are friends with one of the developers...
Sheesh, the game was revoked from a bundle purchased a few years back, plus the price of the game was recently increased nearly seven-fold. The steam forum is an ugly cesspool with the dev’s responses to the complaints of the customers., being very hostile and deleting threads.
Talking about the gameplay itself, the aesthetics is quite nice with the space theme and funky music, however, the gameplay is kind of meh being a generic 2D runner which can be a bit clunky while playing.
All in all, the price of the game increasing greatly and being revoked from an old purchase leaves a rather sour taste and a bad light to the experience.
Hare was a surprisingly enjoyable runner considering $1 price. Despite the highscore format of the genre it has adventure mode with bosses and heartwarming ending. When it comes to runners I only expect energetic music and fluid controls which this game has. Although there is no controller support. Adventure mode has 5 levels which took me around 90 minutes to beat. Pretty short if you only play for the story but I enjoyed it the whole way.
Gameplay is very simple but you do have a fair amount of control over movement. You can control speed, hover, dash, slam and even power up a super move. Considering that most of these games have only jump and slide I would say Hare is a pleasant upgrade. Some of the levels even change the genre. It is not a very hard game and you can enjoy it casually. Just by playing it you will increase maximum life count so it gradually gets easier.
I thought the game was really well presented both aesthetically and acoustically. It has nice sound effects and upbeat soundtrack which makes me want to play endless mode. Hare has a brief narrative which is mostly told through text. There is also a hard mode which I assume has some kind of secret ending even though the name of the achievement suggests otherwise. However, you only get like one life in hard mode so it's pretty sketchy.
Final Thoughts 7/10
Hare is definitely an above average runner in $1-3 price range. It has a balanced difficulty which made it fun to play through short adventure mode. Most of all I did not expect a satisfying ending for this genre.

The aesthetic is pretty neat. It's not the best gameplay wise but for less than a buck I really enjoy seeing that someone else is batting around existential ideas and expressing themselves.
More on that aesthetic--kind of like space travelers, comrads, good old days. I don't know. It gets me.

Hare é um jogo muito divertido, tem um gameplay frenético e possui variadas formas de gameplay, possui uma plot que te faz querer chegar até o final e tem um otimo grau de dificuldade, gostaria de parabenizar aos desenvolvedores por criar um jogo que trouxe a mim algumas memorias da minha infancia, quando os jogos eram bons.
