Swing the joystick to swing your sword.

- Replenishing Shields: Follow up your attacks. Don't let your opponent recharge.
- MEGASWORD: Sword not big enough? Make it BIGGER.

Jokes aside, this game is like if someome took Occam's Razor and made a party fighting game out of it.
It is incredibly easy to learn how to play and extremely rewarding to master.
The left analog stick on a controller controls movement.
The right analog stick controls the sword.
There's a jump button, and a throw sword action. That's it. And yet, due to how much a player can finesse their attack and defensive maneuvers with their swords, as simple as it is, its EXTREMELY expressive gameplay wise!
The movement, while simple, is quick and snappy.
To top it all off, its cheap and and be ran on almost any computer.
Buuuut. I wouldn't recommend this for most people. I only gave it a recommendation rating simply because it executes its ideas slightly less than perfectly. (It can crash occasionally)
The reason I have a good idea this game won't be for everyone is that this game requires several niche's to be lined up perfectly for this to even be playable.
Firstly:
it is PC only (at the time of this review).
Secondly:
It is CONTROLLER supported only.
Given the first reason, this already filters out a lot of potential players.
Thirdly:
It is multiplayer only. No bots, people only.
Considering the prior two points... Yeah. Getting the hat trick of niche's would be very difficult.
Lastly:
It is offline only. Good God almighty, getting all four of these things accounted for filters out damn near everyone!
Because the thing is, this sort of niche tends to be more of a console strength than a PC centered one.
These are one of those games than would be absolutely baller on say Switch.
On PC, there's simply too many games that are more accessible to most gamers than this one. Not to mention, said niche's aren't particularly hard hitting on PC these days.
If you do need a game that hits those four niches and you have the offline ride and die homies on standby, you're in for one hell of a ride! If not, I can't say this game's strengths can beat the short comings of simply being unplayable for most folks.

that being said, only being able to play local multiplayer gives a lot to be desired. specifically a way to play it when your alone, and for that reason i cant recommend it to everyone.
It hurts me to thumbs down this game, i wouldn't if i was either half the price or included a single player option
Great concept, bad game
Great gameplay with horrible music.
theres not a lot of maps or content, and you cant play online with your friends. this game isnt worth 5$ but maybe on a 75% sale it might, it gets boring after 10 minutes

I love this game it is incredibly fun playing with your friends, i bought it as soon as it came out because it looked cool and unique, it does kinda sucks that you have to have a friend to play but the gameplay is smooth and fun. I suggest adding the possibilty of increasing and decreasing heart amount and maybe let the other trigger do longer throw or something. But overall it is a great game to play with your friends.
