Have you ever had a flight or travel delayed or canceled or not been able to get your baggage right away? Real airports can often be annoying, inconvenient and an emotional rollercoaster to visit - so why not build your own?
Build every part of your own airfield. Construct everything from landing strips, control towers, roads, parks, terminals, gates, buildings and much more. Buy extra land to expand your airport to city size and manage a world of planes, pax and cargo.
But you can go even deeper. Not only can you plan the entire layout of your airport, but you can also design the smallest details in the terminals to get the most optimal passenger flow.
Manage the entire airport to keep clients and passengers happy and satisfied in order to create a healthy economy. Make sure there is a bus or car for every man or woman that needs to get to a terminal, check if you have the fuel needed, transport their luggage safely and so on.
A well managed place for planes is a direct route to success.
Skyhaven is more than just an airport building simulator. You can play out the entire history of airplanes all the way back from 1916 and into modern days, where you research and develop your way through the years to improve your technology and facilities.
You can choose your own difficulty and start with a lot of money if you are new to city builders or you can create a real challenge for yourself and create your empire from scratch.
The strategy you create matters and determines how your airport looks and works. Remote or bridged ramps? Charter or regular flights? Big or small aircrafts? Domestic passengers or connected flights? Fly single planes or entire airlines? You are the manager of this tycoon/simulation and the world is your sandbox.

Excellent game,a gem indeed.If only they could continue adding to the game,more aircraft types and weather and\or if it could be moddable.
While there are several bugs, and the game is (to my knowledge) not being developed. The core principal is still one of kind and I have really enjoyed this game. I recommend this to anyone who like airplanes, history, and management games. I would say that 20$ is slightly high, but if the game is on sale, you should buy it.

ABANDONED
If somebody bought the game and resumed development then it'd be worth it (developer abandoned). If you can get it 75% off or more you can still enjoy a airport tycoon that is decent but kinda unoptimized with missing features.

Again another great concept, again an unpolished game with that final extra mile missing to make it a great classic.
Still you can enjoy it a lot, and I don't have the heart to rate it down.

I barely played it, since I waited for updates to fix some problems. I would've started playing it again but I saw now that it is seemingly abandoned.
Relatively fun and unique game but seems like devs have abandoned the game or at least not adding new features.

TLDR: Only buy it, if it's on sale, or you will buy an unfinished abandoned game!
Original price (20eu) does not gives the content according to it's value. The game is fun, and I'm recommending it for fellow aviation-lovers, but the outdated graphics, texture bugs even on static objects, missing tooltips, minor visual bugs and abandonment stage makes it not worth it, unless its on sale (was 75% sale when I bought it for 5eu what is more fair)
Gameplay can be learnt relative fast (if you have tycoon experiences, then even faster), but tutorial does not explain everything properly. You will end on internet digging why you not meet plane-needs and ramp services, as not everything obvious what you are missing. Scheduling planes feature also a very critical point, what should be better explained.
Overall: Make it fair price, or sell it to devs, whom actually want to give the love to this game, what it deserve.
I bought this game some time ago in EA, was pretty satisfied then as updates were planned and just because i loved these airplane/airport management games. I forgot about this game for 1 or 2 years, and played this again in 2024 only to see that reviews were abysmal and updates and any leaks have essentially stopped since 2023. Honestly the game is pretty overpriced considering the current state of the game. However, the devs had said that they will(?) continue work on sky haven, so I'm hoping that this is indeed followed up on. The devs had indeed made progress, as before in EA there were TONS of bugs such as airplane pathfinding failing, several cases of saves failing, floating stuff and such, but i was thankful to know that these have been patched when i played again in 2024. Would recommend to try this game out when it is in sale, as the price seems unreasonable for the development status.

I had high hopes with this game when the Dev's made a road map, shame I have to give a negative review, had so much potential.. I suggest getting Airport CEO or any other airport management game where the devs won't just get your cash and run the heck away doing nothing.
Don't buy this game it's totally unfinished the developers have vanished all together spend your money elsewhere
