The story has potential but the writing is not good. Also I found the completely different styles of the backgrounds, cgs, and sprites a but jarring. I also found picking choices for blue and red heart endings to be buggy, I had a terrible time getting the blue heart endings for No.1 and No.6 .
So ya I can't recommend it.

I didn't look into this game and just bought it on a whim because it was cheap and had a funny name.
This is a game where you date kids who are adults who are kids and you are an adult that could be turned into a kid.
Please leave children out of my dating games.
It would be good visual novel but bad English translation and very slow story development ruined this game.
I really enjoyed playing this game.
I didn't have any real expectations when I bought it, I only bought it because it's cheap, but I was very pleasantly surprised.
I found the story to be fascinating, a strange world with strange customs seemingly populated entirely by children. However it is far from being a happy go lucky wonderland, it is filled with horror, sadness and despair. Many of the characters live harsh lives and engage in all kinds of unpleasantness, they are a mix selfish, bitter and tortured individuals. But it's not all doom and gloom, there is good in this world and despite the cruelty of their surroundings there is room for childish wonder, happiness and kindness. And depending on your choices, you can help to make a real difference to their future.
I was totally warped up in the mysteries of this world and how it came to be, and couldn't wait to unravel them by completing every characters' individual route. Sometimes with a positive ending, sometimes tragic, often bittersweet.
The music was very good, atmospheric and ambient scores were handled very well in both darker and lighter scenes (especially No.0's menacing theme and No.6's bubbly main theme). The sound affects were also good (though they played less of a role than the music), I particularly remember a scene where No.6 burst into tears and I felt a real need to cuddle him and make him feel better, lol.
The artwork was very nice, many of the backdrops would make great screen savers, they were very pretty (but I must say some there was an over-use of some and under-use of others, which was a shame, but not a huge deal). The characters were also well done, with plenty of genuine and varied expressions.
This game not perfect it has a few minor issues, the most noticeable one being the translation, it is fine for the most part but there are often times where you have to take a few seconds to figure out what's actually being conveyed, and a couple of times where a sentence was completely lost on me. I also feel some of the lore may have been lost in translation at times.
Sometimes the protagonist's reactions (or lack there of) to situations can be odd, but most of them didn't drag me out of the story, after all, she has lost parts of here memory then ends up in this backwards world where she is completely out of place and with little understanding of the overarching situation and her place in it.
Overall, the engagement I had with the story and characters far outweighed and of the issues and I enjoyed this Interactive Story Game immensely. Take into account it's cheap price too, I would recommend it to anyone.
Cheers
It's... Not bad? I mean, It's not amazing, but it's alright. Honestly, If I could, I wouldn't give this game a thumbs up or down, but the pros outweigh the cons just enough that I can give it a thumbs up.
On one hand, it's got an interesting story, decent characters, and some really pretty CGs.
On the other hand though... Oh lordy, the translation was rough. Not as rough as some translations, but still enough to bother me.
All in all, it was fine. Not great, not bad, fine. I'd say to go ahead and buy it if it's on sale, or if you're looking for a cheap VN that has a interesting story.
I've been reading for a few hours now and I have decided to give this Otome a positive review because I actually really enjoy the story and characters.
First of all, the translations are not great. But, they are still good. It is very easy to follow along with the story and conversations (there are some parts here and there where it may get confusing, though.)
The price of this game - especially on sale, is definitely worth it. Sure, like I said, the translations aren't great, but it's a great story! Have you seen the prices of some Otome? This game, with its not-so-fantastic translations and no voice-acting (even though the store page says there is *cough*) is actually fun to read and has quite a bunch of heart-warming and bittersweet moments.
There are a few things that I did not like so much about this game that I will mention.
Some of the music used is fantastic, but oh man, they really use those ones rarely. No.6 is an example. His theme song is cute and quirky, but really does give strong vibes of "The Little Mermaid"'s Sebastian the Crab. It is really over-used to the point where I just wanted to mute the game entirely. The music is also lacking in a lot of dramatic scenes, which is a bummer, because with the music, I'm sure I might have shed a tear or two. But all I could hear was the clicking of my mouse, and oh yeah, that totally killed the mood for me. (Was still pretty sad, though.)
So yeah, basically, you either get over-used music that makes you want to go crazy, complete awkward silence or a few blissful moments of wonderful music that fits the situation perfectly. (Cherish those while you can, trust me, there aren't that many.)
One of the main things I really don't like about this game, though, I only encountered with boy No.6 so far, but I really struggled to progress with the story.
It's like there is a system where you are required a certain amount of "points" from correct answers to progress after day 5, if you don't, the story ends. Just like that! That, was very frustrating. So be sure to save a lot. (Even though there are only like 6 save slots by the looks of it) I didn't have this problem with No.7 or No.4, so maybe it was just a No.6 thing, or maybe I was just really lucky. There is a somewhat-helpful guide if you should need some help. Be sure to check that out.
This story isn't so much "romantic", I mean, you are with a bunch of kids for most of the story, come on. But there definitely are really cute moments that will make you smile. But the game sure makes sure to even that out with some darkness. Trust me, there is a lot of dark stuff happening in this game. (Which I'm okay with. But not everyone will appreciate that.) One ending has the MC getting sexually assaulted by a group of men on the side of a street at night in the rain, (not much detail about it, except that she was in immense pain) followed by being saved. There is also mentioning of brothels in the game.
Besides the points above, I believe the story had a really interesting and unique concept and I really loved it! It was refreshing reading something so different for once. The game does start-off feeling really cheap and bland, though. It also feels a little confusing at first, since they don't have names, but are numbered 1-7. (But, you get used to it quickly. I'm sure you also watched Kids Next Door as a kid, numbers as names isn't all that confusing haha.)
I can't say much about all of the characters, but I really loved No.7 and No.4 especially. Once I've read all the routes though, I'll be sure to update this review if I find anyone better. (Which I doubt at this point)
Pros:
- Interesting and unique story
- Beautiful CGs
- Lovely music (most of them, at least)
- Many choices
Cons:
- Translations could be much better
- Difficult to progress sometimes
- No voice acting (Because it says there is)
- Music is either over-used or absent
Overall, I will give this game a 6/10, could be a 7 if the translations were better!
I think my patience for badly translated visual novels has completely run out. To be fair, Seven Boys 2 is actually understandable. That's not to say the translation is good, but I know what's being said and what's happening through the narration and dialogue. But that doesn't mean it's an enjoyable read. On the contrary, the horrible writing actually kills any interest I might have in the story. And considering how many people have written good reviews for it, I feel like there might be a somewhat interesting story beneath all of the gunk, but I just don't have the mental fortitude to stick through seven routes worth to find out. On the plus side, the music is fairly nice, and the artwork is okay (although some of the characters look like bobbleheads with how disproportionate their noggins are to their bodies). Curated by: Bad Otome Games & Chudah's Corner
Anyhow, if you're able to push through badly translated writing and appreciate what's underneath you might want to give this one a shot considering how cheap it is. But if you're like me and you can't bring yourself to waste your valuable time on a so-so story mired in dialogue that sounds like an 8 year old's fan fiction, then by all means, move along.

There are some times when you think that you want to leave this life of yours and live on a place of your dreams.
That is this game about. But not only that, realizing that you cannot run away forever.
I liked the synopsis of this game. I also think about running away from my life from time to time, but I hate giving up even more. The endings were really great. Sad, happy, but sometimes creepy. I mean the "Take the meds and forget everything" ending was kinda disturbing in my opinion. They did never something like that he forces you to forget about the sad truth, but it was the first thing that popped into my mind when he said it like that!
Even so, the worst ending would be the one waiting for him until you realize that he forgot about you and started to love someone else... It just broke my heart...
This game is not well thought out. If you don't pander to just one "boy", you can't pick any of them to talk to, and get a game over by Day 5. There is no way around this except restarting.
Other issues are that the grammar is so bad that you often can't understand what choice you're expected to make. This is a great error in a visual novel. I'm also a bit perturbed that you're the only adult in this "mystical" island and yet you're surrounded by young children. Something seems off about the story, but I couldn't progress far enough to find out what the story was truly about.
I can't recommend it because of poor execution, abysmal grammar, meandering and pointless story structure, and being forced to follow certain paths or your game is unwinnable. There are better free games out there.
If you like the game, I'm glad you do. Everyone has different tastes, and this isn't to my liking.
This game was...interesting to say the least. I still don't know how I feel about it. I can say that the translation contributed to the awkwardness that I felt when playing it. I can also say the translation was adequate enough for me to follow along with a general idea of the story. Kind of. But I couldn't get very far without finding the translation to be unbearable. If you can handle the translation, then by all means play this game. If not, don't buy it.
I really love this game, the story is great, the characters, the artwork umm it´s nice and the music too.
but it's a bit difficult to get a good ending because the English translation is a bit confusing, but if you save your game you can start at the point where you failed, so it's not a big deal you just have to pay close attention and have patience.
Reading is important, many things are revealed in each chapter, the game is not boring personally I have enjoyed it a lot, I still don´t finish all the routes but I am satisfied with my purchase.
I must confess that sometimes I get very sad with the blue heart endings , it's depressing at times.
I hope this game receives more love because deserves it.
8/10
This game is pretty disturbing on many levels though the worst offender is the translation/language. Not only are there spelling mistakes, but some words are just strangely translated (e.g. it is a mess hall or a dining room, not a restaurant), which makes it sometimes extremely difficult to follow the plot.
Then the plot, which I would say is to some degree the game's saving grace...I like that the "right" thing to do does not always lead to a happy ending. This makes it more enjoyable to play than many other games of its kind. Most of the routes have interesting stories, enough to make one want to play through them all once you get used to the language issues and can stomach some of the more disturbing content. Some of this include the fact that I would say most of the boys insult you on a regular basis and it is a bit disturbing that you are an adult, and these are boys (regardless of the circumstances). The game description did warn you though that it is a game “full of vicious real factor”, don’t take that warning too lightly.
Most of the CG's are beautiful and some of the endings truly make for interesting stories as a whole. I know I have my favourite. I am a bit sad that the steam achievements are not translated. All in all, if the translating was better I would have recommended the game, especially since I bought it on a special, but as it stands it is torturous to play through.
OMG I loved this game so much and I had no problem understanding it
although there were a lot of translating errors.
No.7 route tho
I'm crying
I really love this game and hope one day the first game and the possible third gets translated no matter how horrible the translation :'D
Broken hearted
Never expected this game to be so deep. The first sight was like it's ordinary teenage otome game to kill few hours.
But in the end it broke my heart.
I really recommend the game for those who like deep storylines. Complete the route 7.
I recommend for those who appreciate the sense over appearance. Those, who are ready to read and to search for right choices.
This game has it's own heart. Really different from any other's.
To developers - English was really poor. Even for those who uses it as a second language. Sometimes it was hard to read and to understand the meaning. If you need any help - contact me. I will be glad to translate it properly for free.
I said I don't recommend this game, but it's not like I hated it or anything. The art is sweet, the music is decent, the story is novel, has little surprise endings... and yet!
I only completed 3.5 routes (3 routes with red and blue endings, 1 route with just red), because I couldn't get the blue heart ending for #1 as the game just refused to register my choice and went on by itself with red heart route (I ran that route 7 times trying to get the blue heart ending T_T).
The spelling errors were mostly about conjugations of verbs etc, I encountered only a couple sentences that were actually bad; though despite small, the mistakes do affect game immersion imho. Like, you're crying your eyes out, then your love interest speaks with a grammar like Consuela's (the maid in family guy). Guys, just give me 5 bucks or something and I'll proofread it for you, really, I want this game to be better, it's not worth driving away people because of that.
Also seeing some of the exact same background in another game, it broke my heart. Combined with the frustration of the denied ending, I feel that it is such a pity to have the game stay this way, it could be so much fun and get 9/10, but atm, all I can give is 5/10. I really hope the devs give it a good bugfix patch and get a proofreader. Before that, I can't bring myself to run the game again, I'm sorry.
Loved this game. It's got a little something for every type of otome lover.
You like dark characters? Check.
You like silly light-hearted characters? Check.
You wanna cry and write the developers an angry letter? Got a character for that.
Negatives:
- Poor translation. For those used to reading poorly translated otomes, this is readable. I only had a couple of lines that I had to struggle to get past. For those that aren't accustomed to it, this may not be a good game for you. Some of it can be pretty rough.
- This is not a ren'py game. So, don't expect all of the standard features we've all been spoiled on. If you use skipping, you will skip past parts you haven't read. You cannot return to the title screen once playing. You cannot adjust settings unless you are on the title screen. You only have a limited amount of save slots.
Positives:
- Good story plots. Some of the romances feel a little forced, but the others make up for it. Can't win 'em all. The general world building is interesting and I enjoyed seeing how everything tied together through each route.
- Art. The sprites are adorable and the CG's are really good quality.
- Music selection is appropriate. I didn't get annoyed by any of it and felt like it fit the scenes well.
- Sequel is good stand-alone. Although this is a sequel you do not need to play the first at all to enjoy this. By the time that I finished all the routes in this game I felt like I understood enough about the previous game's characters to know what that game was probably like. I never felt like I was missing pieces of the story just because this was a sequel.
I feel a little bit sorry for this game, especially considering low rating in visual novell database. In my opinion, it costs its money even without discount. But, as already said, translation spoils impression here and there during reading. But I wouldn't say that its completely unreadable, I saw VN where translation was even worse.
Plot is pretty simple, but despite of this it still could be emotional. Though I should say what I think the idea with children made me feel odd sometimes.
So, pros:
1. Emotinal. I really emphasize with some characters.
2. Good arts. Even though children looks like adults with small bodies.
3. Details. I really appreciate then developers put details in characters appearence according to the plot. For example when someone is bleeding he gets red stains.
Cons:
1. Common heroine. As usual she is kind and... I would say that's all about her personality.
2. Translation. Allready said about it.
3. Problems with game controll. For example you can't even return to the menu during reading, moreover menu sometimes wouldn't work after you went through a rout,
Still can't recommend this game, because of its flaws, only if you are otome-lover. Some of the routs interested me, but some didn't, in the end I had to force myself for achivements. But still I don't regret spent time and money. Somehow I have mixed impression.
7.5 dwarves out of 10.
So i get this game in sale.
For Seagull. A skip function is missed so much.
Update the english, this is understandable, but very mess somettimes.
And i give a look in Seven boy 3 and Seven boys 1, i would like play it in steam in english.
About the game, in firts moments i don't like the art, this things is very moe for me, but the story is pretty curious, i liked very much the snow white thing.
So I'll edit it more late, but for now this game is cool and interesting.
and a little warn the display in steam say that it have voice, but it no, so fix it.
What a nice visual novel! :)
Graphics are truly amazing to me - i love this Japanese-like style.
As far as I know though, even if this is Seven Boys 2, the first game is not available in European languages so I hadn't got the chance to play it (and by the way, it isn't even present on Steam).
Anyways, it's fully enjoyable as a stand-alone novel.
I loved the plot and the game itself has many (actually around 30!) different endings and multiple choices that you have to continuously make, so it's really everything up to you!
Back to the game itself, I think that they call it "otome" 'cos it's targeted towards female players (and you can see this in the title ahah) and focuses on romantic twists but who cares, it's great.
Without spoilering anything, Seven Boys 2 follows its female protagonist through her journey to a new world, where the orphan boys of the title will be met and so on according to every different ending ;)
I read reviews point out that the English translation isn't perfect but personally I found the game completely enjoyable - probably being a non-English speaker myself I tend not to be too focused on small mistakes on grammar. Come on, half of the monoglot Anglo-American population often makes simple errors.. XD
The only bad thing is that the achievements too are written only in Chinese, but it takes out nothing from the game itself. And the artwork is really awesome, so give this a try :)
After taking a while of getting warm with the story this visual novel really surprised me.
The reason it took me a little longer to get warm with it, was because you play an adult and the boys are...well...little boys. But I am glad I kept playing despite feeling a little awkward about this, because the story turns out way more complex. Towards reaching my first ending I kinda figured out what the whole thing was...but yet the ending took me off guard and made me wanna play again right away, to find out more about it in the other routes!
The English translation was sometimes a little rocky to read but that is the only "negative" thing I can say about this game (plus I am not a native English speaker and shouldn't complain about this ;D)
