Controls: With the controllers you set he main engines throttle and turn the wheel to get to the oil rig. Give the aft and bow thrusters a push to turn the bow or aft of the ship in the respective direction for fine navigation. use the controller's side button to switch to water gun mode. It helps against fires and UFO's..
The goal: Steer the ship to the oil rig, avoid traffic, put out any fires using the water guns and keep the ship within the marked area for 10 seconds.Good luck, Sailor.
hotkeys: push numbers 1(calm)-5(heavy storm) to change the weather, 'S' to start from the menu and 'R to restart the simulation.
WARNING: The AHTS Simulator is not for the faint and sea-sick.. In stormy weather conditions things may get uncomfortable...

why cant play this game
Doesnt work
Does not work. I want a refund.
I just got this game and it's not leting me play it. It just showing the start screen only.
Started the game way up in the air with no hands(using Oculus rift and it's stick controls along with xbox360 controler) with no way to push the start mission button... I hit some random buttons on the keyboard and woilla! I appeared below deck so I could see the ocean up close and saw some of the interior of the ship. I reached up with my sticks to try to touch the steering wheel with invisible hands, but I guess they weren't just invisible, but non existant too... Life at sea sucks without hands. I kept pushing some random buttons on the keyboard and managed to anger the sea as the waves grew huge and the ship seemed to take in alot of water, but with the invisible walls, the water went right back out so we stayed afloat thank god. After pressing pretty much all the buttons on the keyboard, sticks and gamepad, the ocean calmed again, but I did not manage to gain any control of the ship, nor did I manage to get into the control room properly without standing on top of a chair which I do not recommend with all these waves splashing against you... You really do not get much sense of balance.
I have total faith that the devs keep working a little bit more on the game and allow us Oculus Rifters to gain some control of the ship as well, so I'm planing on keeping the game, but atm, I will discourage rifters from buying it. Please do update the game with some proper controls and I'll recommend it.
Well, there was no way to push the "Start Simulation" button. There is not much info on this game or its requirements. It looks like it could be good, but it didn't work on the Oculus Rift for me. The head tilt angle calculation was all wrong. I may try it again after an update.
This game is apparantly VR only. Doesn't work without vr setup. Not very clear in the description.
