Great for watchers to keep them engaged and give them something to do with one another, plus bully the streamer.
It is really cool, and works well when you get it set up right.
This was a great product until I got a professional streamer setup and realized I would have to buy the application again due to them not being able to share the license through family share. This may or may not be the developers fault but either way this is a major let down.

This app is really useful for streamers that like to keep an eye on whos watching, Its nice when u see friends join and other followers. 100% recommend. I will stress this however, Please when setting up, take heed to set up properly. Got some friends to get this and they didnt, play around wt the setting to suit u best!

I really like having it on my stream
One of the best ways to keep your chat entertained when there is downtime.
11/10 Adorable asset for streamers! You can see your community members running around at the bottom of your stream, have them interact with events, and more! There are soo many options on the community page so there is literally something for everyone. Extra storage space does cost more but you get quite a bit for the base download and x4 the amount of space is only $3ish a month.

A great addition to my stream. Easy to setup. I do love it. My only real gripe is PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE release a standalone version. Having 2 games open on steam messes up the overlay a bit, and it's obnoxious. It'd be nice to have this open without having to deal with that.

First Impressions
Stream Avatars is basically the digital equivalent of adding a bunch of adorable little minions to your stream. They bounce around, interact with your chat, and generally make everything feel more alive. It’s like inviting a bunch of tiny friends to hang out on your screen—and who doesn’t want that?
Pros
Easy to set up, easy to use. Seriously, if you can plug in a toaster, you can probably manage this software.
Tons of options for avatars and backgrounds. Want a pixel art dragon? Sure. Want your chat to be running around as little penguins in space? Go for it.
Super interactive. Your chat can control their little avatars, so now they’re not just watching—they’re part of the show.
Adds a fun, playful vibe to streams. It’s like your chat is bouncing around, waving at you, and occasionally tossing each other into digital volcanoes.
If it fits your theme, or you just feel like having a bunch of tiny, chaotic friends on screen, this is a no-brainer.
Grain of Salt
Best suited for creative folks. If you like creating custom avatars or experimenting with art, this is your playground. But if your artistic skills are limited to stick figures (like mine) use the workshop.
Customization is a little tricky if you don’t know how to design mini characters, so you might end up with avatars that aren’t exactly what you envisioned. But hey, if you’re into zelda or pokemon, you’re golden.
Negatives
If you’re not into creating avatars or lack the time to design your own, you might get stuck with avatars that don’t quite fit your theme—or worse, don’t excite your viewers. And let’s be honest, no one wants a bunch of disinterested avatars just moping around your stream.

Been using this for years on stream, It's a cute way to add a little more interaction and personality to streams.

I've used this program in the past and it was great BUT their new and updated permissions while connecting your twitch account gets very shady... these are some of the worst ones in my opinion copy pasted below. use the program at your own risk, for me this is an instant NO.
Authorizing will allow Stream Avatars Channel to:
- View your whisper messages
- Send whisper messages
- Read whispers you send and receive and send whispers on your behalf
- Send announcements in channels where you have the moderator role
- Delete chat messages in channels where you have the moderator role
- Grant or remove the moderator role from users in your channel
[*] Grant or remove the VIP role from users in your channel
The last one isn't too bad but it's still a dodgy one... the ones that bother me the most are the read and send whispers on your behalf and the ones that lets it do anything in the channels I mod for (that has nothing to do with my channel and there should never be a reason for a program or a channel to have that permission)
There is no way to opt out of any of these permissions at all, I have talked to the dev in their discord and their response was

so even tho there is a separate button to connect your account and the bot account, the token that connects your account already wants all the bot permissions and it's not separated at all.
And when I asked the dev if it would be possible to make an update for the program where you could opt out of some permissions this was the response I got

so overall the program used to be good but it all went to shit, it looks like the devs are either careless or just don't care about this project anymore. I strongly advise you against buying this hot piece of garbage that the program is now.

great app really helpfull, wish there were more tutorial for the app, but other than that is all good
Its overall good but the tutorials are very useless..in all honesty like example I am using the shop commaond on youtube didn't work. Go to find a tutorial nothing. Have to check the discord. Still nothing. Barely can figure out how to do anything since its all for twitch and not youtube.
Kinda A Waste Of Money If I Am Being Honest. There Is potential in this app but I believe there is still yet a lot of need to make this app better especially the use of it's mini games, the platform can also be very challenging too, to figure out. This app is probably best suited for those that like to create and experiment art and such, however if you have no knowledge or time of how to make mini characters you will be stuck with ones you might lack interest in for your channel and as well as the interest of others that would like to contribute to the channel.
