Warning: Asset Flip!
Flow The Sliding is an asset flip, what Valve calls a "fake game". The "developer", EasyGames/Cubamano, took the Borderline - Complete Game Template game assets from the real developers, Aakarshak, changed the name, and dumped the result onto Steam. They're attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else's work.
EasyGames/Cubamano has a known history of trying to scam people into paying them money for someone else's work.An example of EasyGames/Cubamano doing this is Silent Tweets, which is really "White Peas", written by the actual developers, EVGames. Also, No Lights, which is really "Cave Exploration Starter Kit", developed by Robert "That Games Guy" Wells.
The products that result from asset flips aren't "real" games. They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "Borderline - Complete Game Template" is just an ultra minimalist mobile app endless "runner" where the player dodges obstacles while traveling on a single line, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game, so this copy+paste of it can't be recommended.
Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Sure, sometimes they may change a few cosmetic things, swap out different assets etc, but at heart it's functionally identical to the asset they're ripping off.
Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have, and make it harder for gamers to find real games from genuine developers.
Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from EasyGames/Cubamano.
This review is specially made for those who like to get all the achievements.
Description:
Flow:The Sliding is a simple dexterity game where you control a ball that follows a path with different obstacles that you need to avoid, moving left or right only. The movement of the ball will keep increasing as your score increases, so avoiding the obstacles gets increasingly more difficult. My best score fell short of 1000 after playing for an hour or so. There is no campaign, levels or different game modes. The only motivation you get is getting into the world leaderboard.
The graphics and presentation is minimalist and looks good, but specially the light flashes can get your eyes tired after a while and I also got a weird optical illusion effect after playing for a while.
The soundtrack sounds very good for the price of the game, with some very enjoyable songs and beats that make playing the game more enjoyable.
Regarding the gameplay, what you see in the video is what you’re getting.
My only issue with the game is not having not having an option to increase the speed of the game in the beginning. I kept struggling with the speed increase, because at the start it is always slow, and getting used to that slow pace harms your performance later.
Achievements:
How many: 27 Achievements.
How much time: Around 30 seconds for the achievements.
Game difficulty: Hard, if you want to reach a world leaderboard score.
Achievements’ Difficulty: Effortless, just type on every letter of the keyboard.
Overall opinion:
Flow:The Sliding is a simple dexterity game that is challenging and fun to play for a little while. It looks good and the soundtrack is great. I think it’s worth the 35 cents I payed for it.

Ez to get all achievements 100% just press all of your keyboard letters
make ur fking achievs and just delete this fking crap and save the planet from garbage
It's trash lol. Random music plays while you use left an right to avoid obstacles. You get an achievement from launching the game and the rest are from pressing every letter on your keyboard. Quite amazing.
this game has great music and basic gameplay, but probably not worth the dollar it's valued at, levels are occasionally bugged resulting in unneccasary deaths, the start is a nightmare as you have to clicka nd then ruch your hand to the arrow keys and the game lacks customizability like changing the colour of your sperm (or whatever it is) or a music playlist
overall this game is just a time waster or to help you cool off solid 5/10
Flow: The Sliding is a very simple game, but a good one.
As a small ball, you travel along a curving line; you have to avoid obstacles (sticks) on the line which poke out to the left or right (you press the left arrow or right arrow to avoid crashing into them), although some of the sticks are placed within a circle (hold down the appropriate arrow to get by those); and there are also some sticks which poke out to both left and right (just let the ball return to its place on the line, and it will just go between them).
So, all of that is pretty easy. However, when the process goes fast, and you need to react to the obstacles really quickly, that's when it becomes hard.
The achievements for this game can be ignored, unless you're a Steam achievement completionist. To get 100% is really easy - just press all of the letters on your keyboard, A to Z, in any order (yep, that's right, the achievements have absolutely nothing to do with the game).
There is also some groovy techno dance music which plays in the background, which is good if you like that sort of thing (personally, I've only heard one good song in there, whilst the rest were mediocre). It would have been good if the game included an on/off option for the music.
Putting aside the achievements and the music, this is fun game.
It's just a bit of amusement - a time waster, if you will.
Play it when you're in the mood for a few minutes of something different.
And, if you're good enough, you might even make it onto the worldwide leaderboard.
Saw the nice and pretty achievement fonts.
Purchased and within mere minutes,
the achievements were simply unlocked by press unrelated keys from A - Z by repeatedly restarting the game,
when yet to cross few barriers, nor figured how to play.
Only A and D is necessary to navigate.
Music seems pretty alright.
Fortunately its cheap as 'dirt' with coupon.
Don't buy unless you are interested in the Font Achievements and
definately not at full price.
used a coupon on this for the achievements but the game is pretty good, it gets repetetive tho, theres not much to it, id like a multiplayer mode where we can fight 1v1 who stays up the longest thatd be pretty interesting :D
Fun game! The D&B music is pretty solid. Great game for killing some time. Got it with a discount and it was definitely worth it.
Really relaxing to play on TV with Steam Controller. The game only requires a left and right key, but a constant increase in speed requires quite some reflexes. The graphics are pretty much limited to the background and the white lights, which is fine for the concept. The soundtrack is great.
The controller support needs some work. I couldn't find any option to directly press the retry button without moving the mouse pointer over it, which doesn't disappear during gameplay.
Overall, its worth the current price of 0,99€.
Another shameless asset flip game. The music is awesome though, which is no doubt stolen.
I dont know why people dont like this game. It takes less than a minute to get all the achievements and as a small time killer i can think of worse games to play. I got this product for 8p using a coupon from creating a badge and it was worth the money. If you can get this product in a bundle or when it is cheap then do. Whats the worse that can happen?
+Perfect game in 1 minute (learn how to type ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ).
+The soundtrack is nice.
-Nope, just nope...
Only buy this game if you have 90% discount coupon or you really interested in 'avoid the obstacles' game.
For me... it's a nope. Not Recommended: 4/10
None of the other reviews make a mention, so here it is:
As of this review, Flow:The Sliding does not feature trading cards.
I gave this game the benefit of the doubt on its claim of having trading cards, as the store page feature list for Broforce also omits cards despite their presence.
It's only relaxing until you hit an obstacle, the sound effect of which is quite jarring in contrast to the complete silence unless you have your volume turned right down.
The achievements offer no incentive to play the game.
Roll your face across your keyboard to collect them all.
Flow: The Sliding is a perfect game for achivement hunters, but its a really bad "obstacle" platformer even for the 0.05$ i paid for. You control a laggy orb, moving it left or right to avoid hitting obstacles. The orb goes faster and faster every second to your inavoidable "game over" screen. There are no leaderboards to compete, there are no achivements to do, just a linear, simple, frustrating, laggy game. Worthless to buy.
Pros:
+ Easy achivements, spam all buttons
+ Can even work on a potato PC
Cons:
- Horrible art design, changing colours are blinding.
- NO MUSIC?! just an annoying DPSCH sound when you hit an obstacle. Horrible.
- Linear, nothing to do.
- No leaderboards, no steam cards nothing
- The orb is laggy if you want to move it to center.

Rather basic game - seems to be an achievement hunter more than anything, by that I mean you can 100% it within a minute and there's only 1 achievement you actually need to"start" the game for.
There doesn't appear to be any music.
Bit tricky really because it's not even worth going through the refund process for £0.79...
If you're in the market for a game a bit like this, with more polish and gameplay - I may suggest take a look at "Pivvot" here on steam.
They nailed it alright. It really is relaxing games ever. Noted: Nubs and plebs friendly game(suitable for low-tier achievements hunter)
For a long time I did not have so much fun for one dollar. No, seriously, this is the coolest thing for its price category.
The game is simple as a band in the literal and figurative sense, but it's on the contrary a huge plus for it! The best simulator of attentiveness and dexterity of fingers from those that I saw in the last year or two.
The developers are good fellows, I do not know how much they spent time working on, maybe a day, maybe two, but they will definitely pay for it;)
Просто, как 5 копеек. Но это кажется поначалу, а потом готовьте уранус!
