This is the best game ive ever played in my life, the way they play " ode to joy " when ever you clear a level is truly inspiring i play this game as much as humanly possible this game changed my life in ways i can only describe in dreams peggle is the most amazing piece of art any human nay gods have ever created. this game has been passed down from god themselves to bring to humanity to clense the sin of man. the only issue, THAT STUPID FUCKING HAT WARREN THE RABBIT IS A BITCH I NEED TRIPLE SCORE FOR THE 400K POINT LEVELS BUT HE KEEPS GIVING ME THE GODDAMM HAT AND IT MESSES WITH THE BALLS MOVEMENT FOR SOME DUMBASS REASON AND I CANT BEAT THE LEVEL NOW BECAUSE I ROLLED A STUPID FUCKING HAT! But other then that peggle is a perfect game.
This game is really fun and relaxing, I like playing this game to clear my mind from stuff. I'm also very addicted... HELP!!! ... AAKASLDSNDLSNLJDSK
Not bothering with the master challenges, it's a pleasant 3 hours down memory lane. From a simpler time where these types of games weren't designed around daily quests and microtransactions.
This still has to be one of the most satisfying games I've ever played. The game is dirt cheap, and often goes on sale for under one usd. if this even remotely interests you. do yourself a favor and buy it.
This game makes me unfathomably angry and is so incredibly loud. Highly recommend.
Playing Peggle feels a lot like nailing a perfectly harmonized chorus in one of our songs. The mix of chaos and precision — it’s like when Sonic finds himself staring down Doctor Eggman in Sonic The Hedgehog IDW comics. You launch that little ball and just hope for the best, the same way Sonic charges forward, trusting his speed and instincts to get him through whatever metal monstrosity Eggman cooked up that week. It’s kind of zen, but also exhilarating, like hitting the high notes in Buddy Holly. You get to channel a little bit of that chaotic-good energy Sonic and Tangle the Lemur have in those IDW issues where they team up against Mimic. All the lights, the cheering unicorns — it’s like every note just clicks together in a beautiful 2000s-era Weezer song. Plus, who wouldn’t want a moment of triumph like that final shot sinking into the last orange peg, feeling like Sonic speeding through a loop-de-loop? Peggle is the gaming equivalent of power chords: simple, satisfying, and surprisingly deep.
Thank you, Rivers Cuomo from ChatGPT
I'm starting to get addicted, simple games like this, chuzzle, zuma, I just keep good memories out of them. The opera singing at the final shot is so satisfying, feels like a god after.
And that unicorn is cute.

peggle is a way of life for me and honestly there aren't many words to describe how perfect this game is. if you dont like peggle you don't like living.
Just an absolutely perfect, low-effort, casual puzzle game. This really scratched my itch to play something that didn't take too much brain power, and also wasn't very long. It was great to play this while on call with friends, or listening to a podcast. And not to mention that it's just a lot of fun! I look forward to playing Peggle Nights next.
Shoutout to DougDoug for introducing me to the game from his YouTube video "Peggle Speedrun, but an Ai Robot threatens me with trivia"
Chill and fun game to kill some time, worth giving a shot!
absolute MASTERPIECE, AND it can run on absolute POTATO pcs
Good old Peggle from when Popcap actually made games. It's basically a more advanced form of Brick Break but with the inclusion of awesome powers and well designed stages that constantly changes the theme of the levels. I preferred Peggle 2 but this is the one that's here and is well worth the $5 for several hours of fun abut maybe wait for a sale for the Pop collection.
I love Pegging so much. I could Peg in my house, I could Peg in a mouse, I could Peg you til you're red, I could Peg you til you're dead. I could Peg you with a horn, I could Peg you with a thorn. We could Peg on a Train, or We could Peg while it Rains, We could Peg Inside a Five Guys, Or We could Peg Inside Five Guys!
if you are big strong and awesome then peggle is the game for you
I don't know what to say really. I was expecting a few hours of fun out of this game but instead I stayed for a full 50 hours. Peggle Deluxe is just revolutionary. I can't believe I'v never heard of this game just a few months ago and now I'm a certified Extreme Grandmaster of Peggle. Peggle feels somewhat similar to a pinball game where your aim is to hit balls and earn points. This game is so simple yet theres so much depth and ways to play it. Theres so many different levels and challenges that I can just breathe peggle. Peggle is it. I absolutely recommend this game to everyone, truly an all-time gem.
one of if not THE game of all time, zuma is a very close second
i've only played for around 2 and a half hours and through my few and far between playthroughs i've already experienced the absolute peak of my life, rage quit twice out of pure unadulterated frustration (the second time it felt like i bruised my hand because i kindaaaa punched my desk because of PEGGLE), and tried streaming it on discord with my friends (none of which showed up the entire time)
i hate this game and i cant wait to play it again tomorrow
Peggle has truly transformed my life in ways I never anticipated, infusing joy and connection into my everyday routine. At first, it was just a game to pass the time, but it quickly became a cherished experience that brought me closer to my family and reignited my capacity to love and bond with others. Each level, with its colorful pegs and cheerful music, became a backdrop for laughter and shared moments, sparking conversations and playful competition that strengthened our relationships. I found myself opening up to my loved ones in ways I hadn’t in years, sharing strategies and celebrating each other’s victories. The excitement of playing together allowed us to connect on a deeper level, fostering an atmosphere of support and encouragement. Through Peggle, I learned the importance of teamwork and the beauty of shared experiences, reminding me that love can flourish in the most unexpected places. It has rejuvenated my spirit, helping me embrace both the game and the people around me with newfound enthusiasm, and for that, I will always cherish it.
Peggle is great! its very fun and you can have multiple play styles. then i found out they made a game all about pegging
10/10
Lovely game, It has great music with a cozy vibe. You can just load it up and play a game or 2 because you dont have to invest hours to get somewhere.
It was an ordinary day when I stumbled upon the game that would ultimately reshape the very fabric of my existence. I had been living a life of monotony, lost in the mundane shuffle of routine, work, and the occasional social outing. Nothing sparked that inner fire anymore. Joy felt like a distant memory. But then, one fateful afternoon, the mere content creator DougDoug casually played a game that sounded simple enough—Peggle. Little did I know, this seemingly innocent puzzle game would become my salvation, my escape, my obsession.
At first glance, Peggle was whimsical, almost absurdly so. A pinball-meets-pachinko hybrid where you fire a ball into a sea of multicolored pegs, hoping it will bounce and land in just the right spots to rack up points. The rules were straightforward: clear the orange pegs before running out of shots, and victory would be yours. It sounded easy, but once I started playing, I realized how wrong I had been. It wasn’t just a game—it was an emotional rollercoaster disguised as a cartoonish joyride.
I launched my first ball, and as it bounced from peg to peg, something inside me shifted. There was a rhythm to it, a harmony between the chaos of chance and the subtle precision of skill. As the ball ricocheted wildly off the blue, green, purple, and orange pegs, I found myself holding my breath, my heart racing as if I were about to win an Olympic gold medal. And then—CLANG—the final orange peg was obliterated. The screen exploded into a crescendo of fireworks, Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy” blaring in the background, as a triumphant unicorn named Bjorn flashed across the screen.
In that moment, something unlocked inside me. I felt a rush of pure elation, a sense of achievement I hadn’t experienced in years. My heart swelled, my worries evaporated, and I laughed like a child seeing snow for the first time. I wasn’t just playing a game anymore—I was alive. The thrill was so intense that it became addictive. It was as though every time I succeeded in Peggle, I reclaimed a little piece of my soul that I hadn’t even realized I’d lost.
I loved getting pegged so much. The feeling of watching that tiny silver ball pinging around, connecting with pegs in perfect harmony, was like a symphony for my soul. Each peg hit was like a note in the grand score of life, every orange peg destroyed was a chord that resonated deeply within me. The more I played, the more I realized that this wasn’t just entertainment—it was therapy. The satisfaction of every shot, the whimsical cast of characters, the endless pursuit of that perfect score—it was all a delicate balance between chance and control, chaos and order. And it was everything I needed.
But if I had to pick one feature of Peggle that truly stands out, it’s the Magic Hat. Oh, the Magic Hat—what a glorious thing! Every time I activated it, I felt like I had been granted a divine power. The Magic Hat was an ability that bestowed your shots with incredible precision, allowing you to hit pegs in ways you hadn’t thought possible. It turned your wildest fantasies of trick shots into reality, amplifying the strategic depth of the game. When the Magic Hat appeared on my screen, I knew I was in for something extraordinary. There was a sense of heightened awareness, as if I could see the invisible threads that connected every peg and ball, and manipulate them to my will. It was pure, unadulterated genius.
As I progressed through the game, I unlocked new characters, each with their own special abilities. There was Claude the lobster with his flippers, Splork the space alien, and of course, Lord Cinderbottom the dragon. But none stood out like the Magic Hat. The way it transformed the game, giving me that extra edge just when I needed it, made me feel invincible. It was as if the Magic Hat and I shared an unspoken bond, a sacred partnership between player and pixel.
Peggle was no longer just a casual distraction. It had become my lifeline. It wasn’t about the scores anymore; it was about the experience, the joy of watching those pegs vanish in a blaze of glory. The ups and downs, the victories and near-misses—they mirrored life itself. Every failure, every ball that missed its mark and slipped into the abyss of the game’s pit, taught me patience and perseverance. And when I triumphed, oh, the high was incomparable.
Peggle has taught me that sometimes life is like that silver ball—you aim, you try to control the outcome, but sometimes you just have to let go and watch as it bounces through the unexpected paths fate lays before you. And in that chaos, there is beauty.
Today, I am a different person. Peggle has reminded me that life can be as colorful, random, and joyous as the pegs that populate its world. It showed me that magic exists in the simplest of places—even within a puzzle game—and it’s up to us to find it. So, if you ever find yourself drifting, if you ever feel like life is a gray, monotonous blur, pick up Peggle. And don’t forget—you, too, can learn to love getting pegged.

This game has changed my life. It is my true shining joy and I would never trade it for the world. This game is truly a once in a lifetime experience that everyone must go through. Please peg NOW!
Still fun as hell, minor compatibility issues with resolution and fullscreen/windowed toggle - easily fixed with fiddling with display settings. Have fun!
Peggle is a casual and relaxing game and also awesome , this is made by PopCap Games, Inc. and even tho the publisher is also PopCap (not a big deal) and EA, Peggle is made in 2007, EA is great until 2010 !

its really addictive and fun, sad that they dont make these games anymore because this is the kind of games that should be popular. its so simple, yet so effective at keeping you hooked for a while. not to mention all the levels and challenges, Peggle truly is an underrated masterpiece
Save your money. This game is not for sale. This game is "for lease" only. Hence, you don't own it and never will.
This game is something else. It is a spectacular experience that shows the start of mankind in the best way.
If peggle was a person i would make love to it. instead we have pegging (equally awesome, dare i say even better but thats controversial)
Apotheosis. This videogame is truly the greatest and most fulfilling experience of my time on Earth. Never have I felt emotion like this, to feel the risk of the game bounce around in my brain. Never knowing what the Peggle Gods have in store, will I win? Sometimes, rarely, when playing against weaker foes. Despite this, I enjoy the game. The richoceting of the silver balls soothes my very soul. It responds to it. I see the peggle residents in my dreams and nightmares, often in place of beloved family members or friends. It has taken over my life, I no longer find joy in my favourite hobbies and pastimes, instead they are replaced by a menial, monotonous scraping of my fingernails against concrete. I warn you to exercise caution when purchasing this videogame, are you ready, for the point of no return?
Just as fun as I remember as a kid. Great gameplay, fun characters, silly "story" to tie it all together. Can't recommend it highly enough.
bought it because I saw franzj play it and its a fun game to play for 20 mins every couple weeks
Peggle Deluxe - 2024 review
I usually tend to do in depth reviews and point out multiple pros and cons within them. I'll keep this one shorter, since Peggle Deluxe is a 15 year-old arcade game now so there's less to talk about, yet it still manages to thrive even in 2024.
Pros
- The game's simple, fun and addictive. The gameplay loop is fairly easy: you only need to aim and click one button to get results and beat levels. The difficulty balance is what keeps it interesting. In Adventure mode, it's easy at times to get the satisfaction of snowballing through a part of the game, but can get harder to make you work for a particular level, yet doesn't get hard enough for you to drop it. This makes the experience well-paced overall.
- The art style is gorgeous. Look at the colors. Look at the simple, yet lively backgrounds. The characters. The HUD. Everything makes you feel nostalgic, yet the aesthetic looks pure enough to feel like a modern game. Combine this with the classic soundtrack and the old-school arcade sound effects, and everything regarding the audiovisual sphere just fits perfectly.
- It's ridiculously easy to run. This is the definition of ''can be run on a potato''.
- It's also ridiculously cheap, and gets cheaper during sales. You can get this game for 1$ multiple times during the year.
Neutrals/Cons
- The game may get repetitive for some after a while.
- Challenge mode, which is the side-mode next to the campaign, gets tedious after a while. It's simply too hard. I know it's supposed to be challenging, but even if I love this game, I'll never have the patience to finish the Challenge mode.
[*] The game crashed at least two times while I was either booting it up or playing. I lost my progression for one level. Nothing too bad, just mildly annoying.
TL;DR
Simple, fun, addictive. Pacing is excellent for the campaign. Nostalgic looks and fantastic sound design. Easy to run, cheap. Almost no cons. A real dopamine factory. Did I say cheap? Costs the same as an AriZona tea when on sale. You'll never regret buying it.
Rating: 8/10
Only 5 hours on Steam, but countless back on the Xbox Arcade version. One of my favourite games ever. Renfield is my boy!
The greatest video game of all time. I'd divorce somebody to marry this game.
goated game. no multiplayer like on xbox though
the guy who yelled PEGGLE 2 at E3 all those years ago was on to something
This game is great and a lot of fun, i really enjoy playing it and watching others play it too. The game fills me with a sense of nostalgia and despite its age, it has so much replay value and never truly gets old. Its a classic that i feel like almost anybody could enjoy to this day.
I think the only issue i have with this game is that ive noticed that sometimes when you try to launch the game it will sometimes crash or blue screen your computer, which is a problem that doesnt really happen with other larger games and only happens with this one. I dont know what causes it and i wish i could figure out a solution for it but when it does work and run properly, it is a great game
والله حليوه تنفع للاغبياء نفسي
i could spend the rest of my life chasing the thrill of Extreme Fever
how can you not like this game? This is just a mandatory purchase for anyone that plays games.
yes. very fun pinball game. wild and wacky power-ups make it fun.
This game is completely life-changing. You don't know what pure fun is until you play this game. The game is difficult enough to be interesting, but its not so hard that it makes you especially upset. The vibe and atmosphere of the game is phenomenal. It is bright, colourful, and invites a blast of a time. The sound design in this game is truly one of a kind. With every peg you hit, a rush of happiness mixed with excitement will rush over you. If you have a nickel and a dime to spare, purchase this game. It is a wonderful break from the trials and tribulations of life, and helps outline the small, happy and colourful things in life.
Old-school pinball-style game with excellent game design. The physics, the sound effects, the bonuses, the themes - everything about it feels just right. Great game to play when you don't have time for your over-modded, immersive dystopian RPG obsession.
Beat game OAT, Elden ring/Any other game = 0 Competition
Great game to play during lobbies/waiting for friends of the other game you are playing
This game is super addictive. I've spent hours at a time just shooting a ball at a bunch of pegs. It's hard to describe the satisfaction you feel when you shoot a ball at random and end up with a Long Shot, into an extreme slide and then getting an extra ball because you got it into the free ball bucket as well as getting a free ball score. It's honestly invigorating. The background artwork is nostalgic for anybody, even people that were born after release. It's charming, it's challenging, it's Peggle. Absolute grab for anyone.
my life was pretty bad before starting peggle
after completing 2 playthroughs of the game, it has improved for the better
i hate that sunflower though
My favorite part is when bjorn goes peggle mode and peggles all over the place
a classic game,
I play it when i need to unwind with some mindless gaming or when i have a few minutes between lectures,
this game is so fun i play alot and it so fun
