Gothic 3: Forsaken Gods Enhanced Edition

✅✅✅✅Gothic 3 Twilight of the Gods is a sequel to Gothic 3. The main character, after teleporting with Xardas to unknown lands, observes his friends. It turns out that peace does not last long because Thorus and Gorn, together with their people, start a war. The Nameless One is angry that he has shed so much blood, suffering and challenges for this land and they do not appreciate his deed. He returns to Myrtana to unite Myrtana and end the war once and for all.

✅Reworked locations, new types of weapons, new armor and opponents.
✅Continuation of the story from G3;
✅Slightly improved graphics;
✅In the Polish dubbing, the hero has a raised and nervous voice because Myrtana is at war again and he had to come to win Myrtana over again
✅Quite interesting missions
✅Some dialogues are really funny
✅New monsters, swords, armors and characters
✅You can find the eyes of Innos and the Cup of Cor Kalom.
✅The soundtrack is the same as in Gothic 3, which is a masterpiece
✅You can meet old friends.
✅At the very beginning of the game, we know why we came to Myrtana and what we will be fighting for

❌Poor optimization (sometimes there are cutscenes)
❌Lots of bugs
❌poor, not without many bugs fight with the final boss in the game (a bug in the wall or a fragment in it on my YT)
❌You can't get to Varant and Nordmar
❌We can't talk to many NPCs in the game unless we have the appropriate quest related to them

Ich habe mich nach all den Jahren entschlossen mich mal wieder an Götterdämmerung zu wagen, ein Spiel welches damals als lächerliche Beleidigung für die Gothic Community galt, voll mit bugs und anderen Problemen. Habe es mir jetzt mal im Angebot für 2,49 EUR besorgt und tatsächlich eine relativ "gute" Spielzeit damit verbracht. Ich habe das Spiel komplett cheatfrei durchgespielt und mir eine menge Zeit dabei genommen, allerdings nicht 100% aller Quests beendet. Vorab; ich wusste worauf ich mich da einlasse, da ich das Spiel vor zig Jahren einige male angespielt hatte und auch einfach noch ein bisschen Zeit in der grandiosen Welt von G3 verbringen wollte ohne ein auswendig gelerntes Spiel wieder anzufassen.
Die Story ist kein offizieller kanon und daher widme ich ihr keine große Aufmerksamkeit. Ich muss allerdings sagen dass sie mir im groben(!) tatsächlich ganz gut gefallen hat. An sich überhaupt eine Hauptstory zu haben ist mal was anderes im Vergleich zum üblichen non-linearen open world feeling von G3. Viele Quests waren schlicht bescheuert und sinnlos. Besonders die beiden Questreihen der Torwächter von Gotha und Vengard. Hat schon meme potenzial. Die zweite Hälfte des Spiels hat mir da schon besser gefallen und ein bisschen diversität in das questen reingebracht. Über schlechtes coding und unbefriedigende Dialoge kann das allerdings nicht hinwegtäuschen. Wenigstens sind die deutschen Synchronsprecher dieselben soweit ich das erfasst habe und der Protagonist haut auch ein paar heftige Sprüche raus, abseits von "Es werden Veränderungen kommen" und "Ich bin ein Bürger Myrtanas" - das kommt einem echt aus den Ohren wieder raus.
Ich musste einige male Google verwenden um diverse NPCs zu finden die in Dialogen bezüglich des Standorts absolut nicht erörtert wurden, wenn man Glück hat steht mehr im Tagebuch aber sonst heisst es frei Schnauze suchen und finden, oder eben googlen. Da hätte man sich mehr Mühe geben können und müssen. Was mir ansonsten auch positiv aufgefallen ist sind neue Rüstungen und Waffen die sowohl hübsch anzusehen als auch nützlich sind. Das Balancing ist allerdings ziemlich off, leveln geht absurd schnell dank komplett übertriebenen xp rewards für Quests. Muss allerdings dazu sagen dass der Endboss auch kein Sahneschleck ist.

Gothic 3 Götterdämmerung oder Forsaken Gods ist ein durchschnittliches RPG welches nach längerer Zeit des aufarbeitens tatsächlich komplett bugfrei ist. Es bietet kein Vergleich zur üblichen Qualität der Gothic und Risen Reihe und ich empfehle den Kauf nur wenn man ein gutes Bild davon hat was einen hier erwartet- sonst rennt man schlicht vor eine Wand der Enttäuschung.
Hatte generell aber ein ganz interessantes Spielerlebnis und daher gibts den Daumen hoch von mir.

And a advice:
If you still want to play,ı suggest not play right after gothic 3 or any gothic game.This game fuck all francise.I mean quality drop every little single game but you can still love Gothic trilogy. (Dont count Arcenia) Gothic 1 and 2 perfect games and Gothic 3 mid-good game but after that there is no good Gothic unfortunetly.

So I actually kinda enjoyed the DLC, I didn´t encounter numerous invisible walls as other says, because it is fixed now with patch in steam properties. Nice thing is that the DLC has many more weapons, but the con is that you probably won´t use them at all that much (would be the best if it was included in base game). The story of DLC is very short, if you look list of all quests then it seems it has enough quests but you have to choose 1 of 2 sides and then quests are cut to half which is sad. Also DLC is not that open world like base game because the story is more linear, that it won´t let you do quests in other towns if you run from start elsewhere, you actually have to play by the quests. DLC also says it has improved combat, which I saw only in one new move, also new monsters, but I saw only 1 and the boss. Btw the story takes place only in myrtana region which is pure copy of base game and then they just removed some things, NPC, etc. So if you have knowledge of places where things were from base game then it would probably be there. Monsters are randomized, but devs didn´t use much variety of monsters. Also monsters respawn. I know the DLC wasn´t developed by Piranha instead other company but in reality it seems like it was made by 1 guy. Just like someone else said in reviews, NPCs can talk in 3 voices, groups of paladins or other are pure copies of one entity and they did not mind to atleast use other heads/faces. Some villages where NPCs were are now just empty. New buildings are put on past caves etc. Story is not great nor terrible. Other quests are just meh, mostly taking NPCs with you around map like taxi. And no point to explore myrtana and grind for better equipment.

So it is okay but don´t have big expectations.

Waste of time, play original Gothic 3 with community patches instead

Gothic 3 forsaken bugs

Unfortunatelly, I cant play this game. I have only 15 fps everywhere. My pc have Ryzen 2600x, AMD Radeon 6700XT. I dont know what to do to run this old game....

Ziemlich ernüchterndes Sequel zur Hauptstory von G3. Vorallem im Vergleich zu G3 mit allen Patches die es inzwischen gibt.
- Zu geringer Fokus auf Kontinuität, z.B. gibt es keinen der Jäger mehr in Silden und keinen Jagdlehrer in Silden überhaupt. Generell sucht man sich nach Lehrern dusselig.
- Kaum relevante NPC´s. In Geldern gibt es 4 Leute mit denen man reden Kann.
- Wenige Quest´s
- Hackeliges Gameplay und Kampfsystem im Vergleich zu G3 mit Community Patch und Alternativem Balancing
