A simplistic auto-run platformer with passable (but repetitive) music and... that's about it.
- The game yoyo-es between a laggy mess and a somewhat playable framerate both on every death AND randomly during levels, even with hardware FAR above the game's listed System Requirements.
- The controls often feel unresponsive and delayed, particularly when the game lags.
- Levels are far too repetitive, and many can be cheesed by spamming the gravity shift.
- The game's 25 levels can easily be completed in 1-2 hours (if you can stomach it for that long).
- When one music track ends, the next starts immediately with no fade in/out, making for very rough transitions.
Overall, the game is terrible. Do not buy this. Not even on sale.
Mr. Dubstep is a beautiful platformer with a solid bro step Dubstep soundtrack. That said, I just did not have any fun with it. I'm really not a platformer fan, but the art style and music made me take a chance on this one, but neither were enough to get me to enjoy a genera that has rarely hooked me in for long at all. That said, what is here is fine I dont have spacific criticisms for it, and if you are a fan of this style of platforming game you might enjoy it much more than I did. While I cant recommend Mr. Dubstep, I'm sure there are folks out there who would enjoy it a good deal.
