Choice is a hardcore adventure. It is a first-person low poly style game.
It is a story about a human who found himself in dungeon.
Choice is based on concentration, if you are not attentive enough or want to have a nap, this game may easily freak you out.
It is not the most difficult game in the world, but it will take you some time to pass it.
Your main task is to find an exit from dungeon or you will stay there forever. You need to think ahead and sometimes even use real paper or the Internet to understand and solve the quests that you will find.
Pay attention to details.
You need to survive 5 levels. This will be the most difficult game testin your life.
You will have to jump, run, lift and use various objects. You don't know
what will come in handy to you at the next level.
You will have no training phases. There will be no hints and no
checkpoints, no chance for a break or taking a deep breath.
If you die you will have to start the level anew.

Its crashing. No error message at all, game just turns off.
Im not gonna refund because i like the style i like the concept i got it cheap and maybe you will fix it.
Tried different combinations of graphics settings, didnt help.
Tried to turn volume off, didnt help.
Tried to stay at the spawn and not move at all to see if it happens, it did.
To see if it happens every time in the same moment i got the stopper and it seems it crashes about one minute after turning the game on, about every time.
But maybe its not a bug? Its a feature. But i think the game shouldnt just turn off, rather comunicate it somehow.
So i dont think its a feature ;D
I'm not really sure if Choice is an asset flip. Some elements of this game certainly make it seem like the developer put some effort into assembling some kind of original here. On the other hand, a lot of the game assets don't seem like they were created by the developer, but they haven't credited any asset creators for supplying assets, which might be a case of plagiarism. There's no evidence, so we need to give the benefit of the doubt... regardless, asset flip or not, the quality here is indistinguishable from many asset flip/cash grab scams, and that's a problem in itself.
It looks a lot like the Russian "developer" behind this mess stole a low poly asset pack off the Unreal Marketplace and tried to make a crap little first person puzzle adventure game out of it, probably just copying + pasting code samples etc. As a game, this is a bit of a joke because the quality and game design is really poor.
Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision.
The game features lazy low-polygon voxel "Minecraft"-like "art", making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the 1990s. A lot of amateur developers see Minecraft's success and assume it's because it looks bad, not because it had unique and appealing game mechanics, and they try to emulate the success without understanding it. It also happens to be easy, and doesn't need any proper talent in terms of game development/graphic artists etc. That's why reviewers are faced with so many of these terrible games with confrontingly bad graphics. Developers must learn that Minecraft succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them.
The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts.
These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 5 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected.
So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam?
Choice has the almost comically optimistic (if it wasn't so sad) price of $10 USD, for which you could easily get any number of older AAA games. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend. For comparison, the $10 asking price for this game could get you games like "Project Zomboid", "7 Days to Die" or "Ghostrunner". Quality, professionally made games like those are frequently on sale cheaper than this.
This game is unforgiving and yes, hardcore. The hardcore part in this game is: NO WAYPOINTS which, in my opinion, is a pain in the arse-district.
Everything else however, is awesome. Lighting, colors, atmosphere, depth, sounds and even the music, how subtle it is, it's just enough. Just enough salt in the soup.
Think outside of the box, look very, VERY carefully (look everywhere), you will be surprised what you might find, it's definately an EUREKA feeling when you do.
This game offers you the greatest challenge, don't complain if it is too hard, you have read the description, if your cockyness about your "skills" are lacking, don't blame the game. This game is most likely too hard for you.
The jumping happens in a semi-slowmotion fashion, which makes jumping parcouring another pain in the arse-district. Very frustrating and your keyboard is about to die for every time you mis jumped. :D
I can't do jumping parcouring, so I got stuck at that place where you have to do that. For me, this game reached my personal category: RAGE GAME.
I recommend it, because it is a real challenge, it plays good, the controls are responsive accordingly and the developer didn't lie about what the game is representing. If you are searching for a game with an excellent experience of being challenged, get this game ASAP!
But if you ragequit in games where you fail after 10 times already, don't get this game, your "skills" mean nothing, you cannot handle this. This game is most likely too much for you.
TL;DR No control over character,simple puzzles, you can get more out of gmod custom maps.
After beating the first level and seeing where the 2nd level was going there just isn't much here so I stopped out of boredom. I love challenges and even difficult puzzles and such but this game is just made poorly. The first couple rooms are ok as the switches are hidden out of sight but in easily accesible locations that get the player in that mindset for whats to come. After that you are greated with an obvious trap with the indentation in the rug, and also a boulder sequence. The boulder sequence I felt like was done well since during your run you had to activate a certain seqeunce of switches to open the door. This then leads to a saw puzzle which isn't that difficult. However after redoing the saw puzzle a couple times it eventually switches the orientation of how to solve the whole thing which just isn't good design. There is a low chance for it to switch so after doing it the 5th time just to see not just the puzzle but even the SOLUTION was different is disgusting since as far as I know this is the ONLY puzzle that did this on this level (There is a random number generated puzzle shortly after but it's very easy to solve). Neither in the trailers does it say it's an rng dungeon. Not to mention it goes against the "trial and error" mentality the game is advertising in it's trailer. The rest of the puzzles are just straightforward and not too difficult.
My problem with this game is in it's gameplay. It has a lot of platforming segments but you have no control over your jump direction. As soon as you jump that's it. You just go, and this hurts with how many segments you are required to jump over. It would have helped to have a sprint button as well since segments like the saws feel random with using the jump to vault over and speed past once you solve the puzzle. The game just suffers from not having control over your character which can make these simple puzzles hard. At most it just feels like a poorly designed Gmod parkour map but stretched into a game while removing the flashlight and air control.

(Also the narration for when you die doesn't make me want to continue like a boss taunt from cup head or quips from Deadpool in the Deadpool game. At most it's just plain annoying and doesn't add anything to the expereicne except hurt my ears.)
"Tons of pain" and "hardcore first-person game" yet there is no explination to get out of the very first hallway past a seemingly impossible ceiling blade. Trailer looks like a fun game but if there is no way to access the game without getting passed bullshit it is not worth the time.
Cancer in physical form, I was only be able to play this much. Now I can refund.
In two hours of the game I died 58 times
