good variety of dinosaurs with a large amount of replayability as well as digestible quantities of information for people who like to learn about paleontology
There's something neatly poetic about releasing a vicious killing machine into the wilds and seeing the stats screen describe it as 'LONELY'.
Very nostalgic, as someone who grew up constantly playing the old Zoo Tycoon games.
The variety of building designs isn't great and I wish there was more cosmetic stuff to manipulate, but for what it is, it runs great and the animations and dinos look great too. The campaign is VERY addictive and overall its an enjoyable way to spend your time if you've got time to kill.
One of those great suprise games. Part 2 is better with adding aquatic dinosaurs but part 1 is still very very fun. I love being able to create my own dinosaurs!
Banger park building game with Dinosaur combat
Thoroughly enjoyed playing through multiple times, just sad there weren't too many updates
it can be hard and unforgiving, it can be peaceful and beautiful, it can be complicated and and challenging. Whatever you do, though, don't train the raptors to open doors.
Interesting game with nice dinosaurs. Some campaigns need long time to complete.
This game I would allow other players to play this game say when they are 12 years or more, I started this game when I was at a younger age, it was confusing but now I get it, younger audience could get scared or get angered of how things work, for example, not connecting the power, the dinos escaping etc. Otherwise this game is super good! it looks so real... is just...amazing!
quite repetitive as a park builder-type game but it's still fun if you like dinosaurs (i definitely do). maxing out all of the missions and making your park 5stars actually feels pretty rewarding and there's incentive to do so.
IMMERSIVE GAMEPLAY, ALLOWS PLAYER TO REALLY STEP INTO THE SHOES OF RUNNING A MAJOR THEME PARK, AS WELL AS FELL LIKE CONSTRUCTING AN ACTUAL WORKING JURASSIC PARK.
THE DINOSAURS AI BEHAVIOR IS QUITE GOOD, BETTER THAN MOST OTHER GAMES. THIS GAME IS SURELY FOR THOSE WHO ARE FANS OF JURASSIC PARK OPERATION GENESIS.
Gorgeous and addictive. Gets a little frightening at times.. but it's all good fun. If you're a fan of anything dinosaurs, look no further.

Watch an escaped dino eat a tourist. 5/5 would open the paddock gate again.
probably should've anticipated it but you have to unlock sandbox mode. bullshit. if i want to play a SIMULATOR don't actually make me SIMULATE anything.
This game and its graphics never get old. Been playing it for so long now and I never grow tired of it. Well done can only recommend

Great graphics and really good for a jurassic park fan. Highly recomend.
A sim game that has no way of pausing. A game that requires hundreds of thousands of dollars to buy buildings, with no way to speed the game up if your only earning $1000 per minute. Plant eating dinosaurs that STARVE TO DEATH in a pin full of plants. Terrible game.

unless ur activly paying for their top dollar playable game is slightly unplayable unless you have alost of agne knowlage held behind a pay wall. then holy this game is almost unplayable without the paid expansions so i have no idea how its so respected on steam to this day its an embarrassment to gaming lets be real 2/10
I played this game for years and it is the best game ever!!!!!!!
It has too steep of a learning curve, I literally lost interest in this game after 2hrs, There's too much going on at once, and just feels like a job, maybe its too realistic if a feel like I am working a full time job.
So after 123 h i cant recommend this game.
once you have unlocked all this game becomes extremly boring and you basically never return to it.
It's pretty good. I'm torn between this and the sequel but the series as a whole is something I can recommend if you enjoy dinosaurs and/or park building.

Jurassic World Evolution is a really good game in certain aspects. Although the business side of things is a little boring and annoying, the dinosaurs really make up for it. I could spend hours watching the dinosaurs walk, fight, sleep, or interact with each other. They spent a lot of time making them as accurate as possible, and I appreciate that. The second game is probably better, but I haven't played it yet.
maybe not for everyone but ive enjoyed this game. fun little zoo builder with dinosaurs has weird little quests that pertain to movie stuff. game is pretty much what youd expect. keep dinosaurs happy, keep tourists happy and hope nobody gets eaten.
LOVE IT! So much to do within the game that it keeps you busy all the time. You blink and your fences are down! Better get those rangers to take care of business!

It's a good game. Some relatively minor flaws, but overall a great experience. I feel a little childish playing it, but it's honestly fun. Good management mechanics. At least it's not a "cute" park manager or something. It's interesting to see which dinos come out on top, based on either breed or gene selection, when they get put together in the different enclosures.
Just beat the campaign and picked up #2 and all the expansions for both in a Humble Bundle. Excited to go a bit deeper with this franchise.
When this first came out it was a peak game that I could play on a crap laptop, now my actual gaming PC cant run this without it lagging to shi. Im so tired of stuff not working the way its supposed to

Every struthiomimus I named Chanel No. [X] died a horrible death. Chanel No. 5, 6, 7, and 8 were hunted for sport by an ego-maniacal ceratosaurus that didn't even bother to eat his spoils. 11-13 died to the plague. No idea what happened to 9 and 10.
Overall a very unexpected and gratuitous use of nominative determinism, each one had a lifespan of 15 seconds to 5 minutes, except for one named Danny Devito that lived for all of 7 seconds. Even more proof that the Jurassic Park franchise would have been a lot shorter if Hammond had just accepted my application. This place is run by charlatans.
