The Jurassic Park game I wanted as a kid living the 90's after watching the original movie. The nostalgia is unreal though!
I personally really like this game. I'm rather new to it and at the beginning I had a bit of trouble learning but if I'm being honest I think that's just me being bad at games. Other than that there is a bit of waiting around to do while your waiting for money to come in if you don't have the resources to complete certain tasks, but when you do have something to do often times you'll be kept busy for a good while. I personally have had a lot of fun with this game so far, I haven't yet tried challenge mode but it sounds quite difficult for those who want something they have to put a lot of time and effort into!
i love this game but there are too many bugs
1. there are guests in my park but the game doesn't give me a rating
2. the shops don't give me money
3. if i leave and load back all my dinosaurs and guests are gone everything else is there but no life
Great game with awesome graphics. Would recommend to anyone who's a fan of construction type games!
*sees T-Rex sleeping, curled up in a ball, in an enclosure with light steel fences it could easily break thru the moment it gets even remotely upset* WHY IS IT SO CUTE?!?! IF NOT FRIEND, WHY FRIEND SHAPED???
Bought this purely for the "Jurassic Park" DLC and that sweet sweet Ian Malcolm narration. Overpriced probably, but my wallet, ah, finds a way...
Very nice game for a Jurassic fan or dinosaur fan in general. Lots of dinosaurs to unlock and grow. Worth the price if you ask me.
Openly greedy company. They had a complete full game product ready for their launch date, yet CHOSE to partition their complete product to hide behind superfluous paywalls. $40 game with day-one $10 DLC. That is a 25% mark up fee to buy a couple extra dinos that should have already been provided within the core game. Unacceptable.
Other than the couple titles I already own, this overly greedy business model makes it easy for me to never buy another title from Frontier Developments. This bar of unnecessary greed sets the expectation for how lazy companies can become without needing to put forth real effort into justifying a good or bad product.
on some level the game is great but its also very frustrating at times. it kinda does feel like waiting simulator the game for certain contracts but i can tolerate that.
what i hate the most is how restricted the building is even in sandbox mode, and the comfort levels. lord forbid a dino gets rained on a lil. its especially infuriating during tornadoes or if you get hacked or something during a hatch trying to get your group numbers up to get the comfort up.
at least this one is a game though unlike the second one which is a tech demo acting like a full game. this one at least tried with its story and what not. it just got too frustrating after a while tbh. especially going full stars on all the islands
really good but i wish there was marine reptiles and pterasaurs
it is awesome and a lot of fun but you need to be patient
Why, as you get older, does everyone ask how you're doing, but never what is your favorite dinosaur?
It's a fun and wonderful game about dinosaurs! It's accurate to Jurassic Park and World, which I love! And how much you get to interact with it is top notch. I recommend it. Definitely one of my top 5 favorite video games!!!
If you love a builder game with plenty of missions and dinosaurs, this is definitely the game for you! It's a lot of fun, doesn't take 5 minutes and provides adequate challenges and nifty game play throughout. Graphics are pretty decent and the interface is relatively simple to use!
Not JPOG, but good. Still merit in playing this over/as well as JWE2 given its simpler management theme.
Credit to JWE2's advancements and all but sometimes it feels like a full-time job keeping up with all the extra stuff they threw in the second game. This is a bit simpler and the shading is way to harsh imo in JWE2, seems to be a bit better in this first game.
i love it its a fun game i have every acevment n my ps4 and its a good game for peopel who like the movies
Better than the sequal like usual. Rare cases being the Dark Kinight. Goated Movie
Accidentally got this game instead of jurassic world evolution 2, but still happy with it honestly. Takes a lot of just sitting there doing nothing, but I'd argue that honestly adds to the experience. It's a surprisingly relaxed game, considering you can suffer from various events, including dino break outs, natural disasters, and sabotage.
Overall, 7.8/10, would recommend when it's on sale. I'd argue you'd get your money's worth.
awesome game. it might seem a bit repetitive to start with, but its worth it in the long run.
a good tip is, when you are feeling like you don't want to play anymore, then save, let the dinosaurs out, have fun, load the serious file again.
This is a terrific game for Jurassic Park and Jurassic World fans. If you wait for a big sale get the dlc's I think its worth it
Jurassic World Evolution is one of the most boring games I have played for a long time. You can't speed up the game at all and have to sit and wait for everything to go at the games pace. And that pace is slow. Sandbox mode isn't a sandbox. You can only play sandbox mode in the things you have unlocked in campaign or challenge mode and I haven't been able to find any fixes for this in Sandbox settings or the Settings menu. So basically you are limited to campaign or challenge mode for what you can play in this game. If you want to play with the T-rex or Raptors from the beginning. It's not going to happen. Which is disappointing. The park itself on each island is more like a camp rather then a attraction park.
If you have time you need to pass, then this game would be okay. But if you want full control, not the game for you. And weird, as I have never played a game before, where Sandbox mode wasn't unlocked on everything.
Bought on Sale, so not too bothered. But if my friend had this game and I played it once. I certainly wouldn't be buying it. Nor does it attract me to the sequel either.
I love this game. I have played Jurassic World Evolution since May of 2020 and now its the end of 2024 and I have 4,067.6 hours in Evolution because of how much i love this game. I have also played Jurassic World Evolution 2 since October of 2022 and I love it even more I have 500 hours in Evolution 2. I have seen all the changes that Frontier did to Evolution 2 for the better. Every time that I want to play a game a most of the time i think of Jurassic World Evolution or Jurassic Wold Evolution 2 so yes i do recommend both Jurassic World Evolution and Jurassic World Evolution 2.
Absolutely INCREDIBLE you feel like a
Actual creator and how you have to always keep an eye so no Draco breaks out or you make another enclosure for dinosaurs I've loved Dinos eversince I was only able to watch this game but I play it now
JW:E is a game you can commit a lot of time to.
It becomes a little formulaic with the campaign after awhile as you're essentially just repeating the same thing over and over with different dinosaur skins and stat needs.
A huge drawback to, is you need to beat the campaign to truly enjoy full creative mode to have that dinosaur outbreak sandbox royale that we all know that everyone wants.
I had a lot of fun in the first 10 hours of figuring out the game and I'll probably return to it to complete the campaign, and fully unlock creative mode.
Make sure to keep lots of money while you're playing campaign by the way, you'll need it...
Really enjoy this game but it crashes constantly locking up my entire computer forcing a power cycle. I have gone as far as wiping my computer, updating the BIOS, all the drivers, windows updates, and reinstalling, after verifying the game files. Nothing has helped. This is beyond frustrating. Doesn't matter if its a saved game or new game. Yes the specs of my machine easily play this game.
UPDATE: DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!!
I took sometime to look at this again. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Started playing the same game I have been playing weeks and it froze with in seconds of launching. I tried an older game that used to freeze and that still did the same thing. I started another new game and it was running perfectly for the 20ish minutes I played it. I am convinced that this game eventually just corrupts saved games until they are unplayable. I'm done playing this, until I see that the company admits there is some issue and are working to resolve it. I have had this game for sometime and it feels like its just a scam and should be removed from all PC platforms.
The game is simple and almost perfect aside from some, customizability, flyers and sea dinos it's perfect.
I enjoy all of the small details in this game, I also like the part where there are dinosaurs
The main issue is that the game has a stupidly boring set of tutorial missions, and I just never got past them. They are just too boring. I wanted to go straight for free-build. I enjoy park-building, not a wait-sim, making me just wait for missions to clear so I can work my way toward what I actually wanted to begin with.
Jurassic world evolution is a nice lesson which teaches you that your beloved pet dilophosaurus named "Spit on that thang" will eventually die of old age.

Game description key-points: Cool theme and a lovely chickens farm
Overview:
simple, plain, fine and time consuming
though it is cool to see something unusual and touch pre-historic creatures even for a short time
game is missing a lot of features and proper handling, so the second part is better to start with and see how it goes - this part can be simply ignored.
very good not good graphic on my trash moniter but other but other wise i love the game thanks steam
I have tried on several occasions to play this game and every time I never get past the tutorial/1st mission, its just so boring.
A completely competent (but not in any way mind-blowing) management game. The dinosaurs are nice, but researching them takes just a bit too much grinding. The major issue with this game, however, is the fact that by the final island, the gameplay becomes stale. If you like dinosaurs and management games, this would be a nice pickup on sale, but if not, I'd go looking for something else. 3/5
good variety of dinosaurs with a large amount of replayability as well as digestible quantities of information for people who like to learn about paleontology
There's something neatly poetic about releasing a vicious killing machine into the wilds and seeing the stats screen describe it as 'LONELY'.
Very nostalgic, as someone who grew up constantly playing the old Zoo Tycoon games.
The variety of building designs isn't great and I wish there was more cosmetic stuff to manipulate, but for what it is, it runs great and the animations and dinos look great too. The campaign is VERY addictive and overall its an enjoyable way to spend your time if you've got time to kill.
One of those great suprise games. Part 2 is better with adding aquatic dinosaurs but part 1 is still very very fun. I love being able to create my own dinosaurs!
Banger park building game with Dinosaur combat
Thoroughly enjoyed playing through multiple times, just sad there weren't too many updates
it can be hard and unforgiving, it can be peaceful and beautiful, it can be complicated and and challenging. Whatever you do, though, don't train the raptors to open doors.
Interesting game with nice dinosaurs. Some campaigns need long time to complete.
This game I would allow other players to play this game say when they are 12 years or more, I started this game when I was at a younger age, it was confusing but now I get it, younger audience could get scared or get angered of how things work, for example, not connecting the power, the dinos escaping etc. Otherwise this game is super good! it looks so real... is just...amazing!
quite repetitive as a park builder-type game but it's still fun if you like dinosaurs (i definitely do). maxing out all of the missions and making your park 5stars actually feels pretty rewarding and there's incentive to do so.
IMMERSIVE GAMEPLAY, ALLOWS PLAYER TO REALLY STEP INTO THE SHOES OF RUNNING A MAJOR THEME PARK, AS WELL AS FELL LIKE CONSTRUCTING AN ACTUAL WORKING JURASSIC PARK.
THE DINOSAURS AI BEHAVIOR IS QUITE GOOD, BETTER THAN MOST OTHER GAMES. THIS GAME IS SURELY FOR THOSE WHO ARE FANS OF JURASSIC PARK OPERATION GENESIS.
Gorgeous and addictive. Gets a little frightening at times.. but it's all good fun. If you're a fan of anything dinosaurs, look no further.
i love this game it was the one game i had fun playing but the new one? i dont like it....
good game i like dinosour they prtty cool
I wanna try jurrasic world 2 but this is just so fun :D
this game is amazing its just something else but you should get the second its only $20 rn
It doesn't let you have sandbox mode 1 star
