i really wanted to like this game, the visuals are amazing and the flight can be satisfying once you get used to the controls. My issues are that it crashes every two minutes, there are bugs left and right, and the gameplay gets stale very quickly. Hopefully the bugs and crashes are able to get fixed, but for now I will leave this review as negative.
I've been in love with this game for many years. There's simply no other one like it, which makes me all the more grateful that it exists. You basically shape-shift into various birds and fly freely through voxel environments, which evoke beautiful, rich landscapes. That's all there is to it. It's a very contemplative experience, perfect for reflecting, or just resetting your concentration.
I have encountered Fugl after playing Feather for a longer time. Though I admire the voxel graphics approach of Fugl and the idea to evolve the bird, Feather has so much more to offer, like hidden caves, interaction with fireplaces, a limited multiplayer mode, and much more to explore.
When I would have to decide between Fugl and Feather, the latter one would be my absolute favourite.
very fun
This is such a nice, relaxing game. It plays really well too. My daughter played it a ton when she was 5 or 6, just flying around, becoming different animals. My only gripe with it is the launcher. I play primarily with a controller on the couch and games with launchers that require a mouse click to fully launch are a pain for couch controller players. I'll never understand why some games have launchers, but anyways... great, relaxing game here. I wish it got updated more often, but I'm unsure what else they would do really.

A gorgeous game that feels good to play. No objectives, just float and fly around. I wish there were more games with flying mechanics like this.
You can be a bird, fly around, transform into a horse-bird hybrid. What's not to like?
The whole point of this game is to simply fly around as much as you like on fully 3D voxel world... forever, yep that's the entire game, relaxing and fully playable with one hand.
