Don't waste your cash on this garbage. A mega downgraded MK with trash graphics even on ultra, a block that barely negates any damage or straight up doesn't work at all, no fatalities / finishers and pretty boring combos.
It has a decent story and good voice acting but those are the only pros
Go play MK if you want to enjoy good combat.
Tons of unlockables. Multiverse is fun and incentives coming back daily. Story was a fun continuation of the first title.
Pretty good story, this is my second time owning the game. Can get a lot of achievements quickly, but to 100% it would take a significant time investment for just a few achievements.
Achievement grind isn't bad. Only grinding is levelling up characters and doing online matches.
Enjoyable fighting game! Is great on Steam Deck but eats lots of power. 1.5 hours on battery is average time on standard settings. The game itself has a story mode and multi-universe mode that allows to level up the characters and obtain gear.

So im not sure why i didnt review this game before, so im a bit hazy on some details from back when I played, but from my memory this was not worth buying.
The main issue, as with a lot of other games ive gone on lately, its the price. Generally this is a quality game that offers a lot, but it doesn't really matter when your pricing a 7-10 hour game at 50$. And believe me, with a pretty crummy control scheme compared to games like MK1, kind of flat characters, and a severe combo requirement, this game isn't that golden icon it needs to be to justify the 50$.
Another reason im more strong on this opinion is I just came off of MK1 and it was actually a really good game, it also showed me that its not normal for controls to be as janky as they are in Injustice 2, especially the freaking block. All of this just paints a picture of a game that while visually stunning is otherwise..... average, and 7 hours of average is not worth 50$.
Essentially, Mortal Kombat for DC comics fans. Nice graphic upgrade since the prequel, SOLID battle mechanics and tons of characters to pick. The storyline is just ok (just a nice plus)
Does anyone know why it keeps on saying that the network is not working, i have either net cable, like i cant go into the multiverse thing and i can only play the story and practice?
The Game itself is really worth the price, I love the graphics, and the Game has plenty of chapters that I enjoy. You can also play with friends on multiplier, and In my opinion. I think that Black Canary is the most Comically Accurate, Scarecrow is the most overexaggerated in terms of power, Dr. Fate is the most nerfed character. I hope Injustice 3 comes out soon.
This is one of my favorite games ever. It's nice to play with all characters. It's a little hard to play though the controls are crazy.

i solely bought this game because i wanted the jason todd dlc bc i love that man and boy is it a good game after finally getting it to work.
wouldn't open for the first week. had the opening of batman and superman and wtv in gold open up and then quit launching soon after. then it'd get to the opening credits of the developers then quit again. uninstalled and installed on three different drives and moved files about and renamed the game folder and ran steam as administrator and verified game files.
got it working for 8 hours. giggled and kicked my feet while kicking ass as red hood but now its crashing again. uurggh. so many bugs but such a great game. dunno how im gonna fix this constant crashing now but the game is worth it. (jason todd is worth it and he misses me)

Tried playing it, but it keeps directing me to the DLC page. I have the Legendary edition. I don't need to buy the DLCs anymore. It won't let me play even on single-player. Had to refund it.

Literally cannot play it. Won't launch, nothing I've found and tried works, WB won't respond to my support request. I bought this to play later at a time when I had a pc and now I do. Now I can't play it. 36 mins of troubleshooting. And uninstalled.

Fix the Directinput bug for the love of goddammit. I had the audacity to load this piece of shit game up to play with my wife and apparently you fuckers broke it. I had to look up a guide to play it with CONTROLLERS. WHO THE DUCK IS PLAYONG WITHOUT CONTROLLERS?

UNLOCK all GEAR and Level up character is so hard and long with AI or Without AI Play. to much grinding for GEAR. not Recommended.

This game has a very good story, more than game play I really loved the story. This game has 2 endings and these 2 are based on the player's will. the ending that favors batman feels right but the ending that favors superman is mind-blowing and evil. graphics are average and optimisation could've been improved. Visuals are okay but not that good. combat system are not up to the level, entire game-play is based combat but it didn't feel as smooth as MK. In some fights I felt the combats are so annoying. In most of my gameplay I didn't face any bugs or glitches but I did faced in between few fights some times. Game-play failed to save the game but the story did saved the game.

I enjoyed this game back in the days and pretty much liked it, started missing it now i have returned to it for some nostalgic playthroughs, it will always hold dear to some gamers
I like dc characters and the story was awesome. the game was a little hard to learn but after 50 hours over two weeks i was able to understand and perform combos and armors during bounces and i got decent with the enchantress and batman . i would love to improve my gameplay more but unfortunately this game is dead with no new players and whenever i try to match online i get matched with 4 people that i had previously fought and i was not able to compete very well because they are not my level and they have different abilities and lvl 30 characters which frustrates me .. i couldnt connect to a single opponent in ranked . overall i really like the game and i wish it was more active but the reality is its dead.. so dont make the mistake of buying a dead game on sale ..

Not my type of game.
This is a 2D fighter , like old style arcade games. A button masher. You move your fighter left and right , duck and jump. and mash buttons. I thought it would be a 1st or 3rd person RPG like WB's Middle Earth games only with super hero's genre. Nope, it was nothing like that.
Basically from the beginning the writing stinks.
The intro was totally stupid and nihilistic. They try to besmirch Superman. During the introduction they say Lois Lane was murdered ( while pregnant with Superman's baby ) ( of course ) So Superman "murdered" the villain. So somehow that makes Superman a villain now. I don't think the word murder means what the writers thinks it means. Killing a murderer IS actual justice. Only in movies and on TV, will the protagonist kill a hundred henchmen to get to the main antagonist ( who has murdered hundreds himself )... Then he starts to moralize at the last minute whether or not , to end the future villainy when he has the chance.... Also if the main characters happens to be a strait white couple, the writers will never allow them to be happy with each other. Or once they finally get together, the writers murder one of them as soon as things start to go normal. Only unlikely couples are allowed to have good relationships. Full of cheep " P C " or " woke " tropes.
It tries to sell stuff inside the game for IRL money.

Great graphics and great story. However, I don't like the gameplay because personally I don't like 2D fighting genre. I bought this game because I like DC superheroes.
One other thing that bothers me, the special attack seems unbalanced, especially Batman's. I love Batman, but please, please don't pull Superman with your Batwing.. It's ridiculous...
Anyway, bought this game on discount with a really cheap price, so I can't complain much. I would still recommend this game if you like DC.

Great Fighting game that expanded the DC Lore, bringing some good comic battles to life. if you enjoyed the first Injustice or like the Mortal Kombat style this one is for you.
Injustice: Gods among us 2 is an incredible step up from it's predecessor. It has great game play in the popular style of fighter games like Mortal Kombat, along with a compelling story line, great voice-acting and character and environment design. Definitely a must play for any superhero and fighter games (Mortal Kombat) gamers!

The single-player narrative is exceptional, undoubtedly ranking among the finest examples of DC animation available, especially from the perspective of a devoted admirer of DC's animated films. Following the latest installments of Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter, the gameplay presented a greater level of challenge and, at times, felt tedious for someone who does not frequently engage with fighting games. However, I imagine that for fighting game aficionados, the gameplay could be considered top-notch!
I would appreciate the inclusion of settings that enhance the realism of the violence, and I wish that players did not have to "earn" or, worse yet, purchase the various items necessary for character customization. This situation leaves those of us who are DC fans, and who would genuinely value the incorporation of lore-rich items and Easter eggs, feeling as though we have missed out on a significant element of the game.
Overall, i enjoyed the experience and recommend this to fans of the DC and the fighting-game genre alike. Unlike its predecessor, Injustice 2 has aged relatively well.
