CONDITONAL RECOMMENDATION:

I've tried career mode briefly and it looks like this game has everything in the right place. The levels are big and beautiful and there seem to be a lot of them.

However, I didn't realize that this style of game means you don't race against other cars, but always alone and against the clock. Also, the tracks have tons of hairpin turns, etc.: It can be frustrating if you are not used to it.

people struggling with a G29 and I'm sitting here frustrated that a Rallye "Sim" doesn't allow me to use my rig. Whats the point in making this game

graphic and control is quite good enough but im feel floating and replay gameplay wrc 4 better than this,i said no for wrc 7

i've tried enjoying it but somehow i just can't. the tracks feels way too similar between one and another, putting graphics aside because i think the graphics is pretty decent and is quite holding up even today.
and there's a deadzone or whatever that is on the controls, the steering would just randomly becoming unresponsive every so often which breaks the immersion so bad. even on flat and even tarmac or dirt; in the middle of a good run, the steering responds would just kinda gone like it's getting dialed to 2 all of a sudden, randomly.

I have enjoyed this game from the minute one, easy to understand, quite real physics but the most important is just racing and fun. Very good game

So far i enjoy this game. Even though i use a mouse and keyboard, but the car controls are still comfortable for me.

I remember Collin McRae Rally 3 from back then.
My very first rally simulator.
I was very reminded of it during my first races in WRC 7...
This title is now a few worlds away from that and there's a big time gap in between :D

This game is a very impressive rally simulator.
It's just a shame that you don't have the opportunity to drive old rally classics on the tracks...

But there is a whole range of different tracks, with different levels of difficulty.

The servers seem to have been switched off in the meantime.
There is always an error message in the main menu when you start the game.

It's a really good bargain in the sale. You can't go wrong with it.

Love this one. It doesn't run as well as dirt2.0 on my rog ally, but still plays perfectly fine on medium settings at 720p. The game strikes a good balance between challenge and relaxation. The winning feels pretty rewarding though. Can't complain for such a low price. Would recommend to at least rog ally owners.

holy mother of christ this is shit! i couldnt bind the game to use a H-shifter OR CLUTCH, the default force feedback is insane and manual is same as sequential 💀

nice game, kinda having a hard time with the wheel i try setting the sensitivity, but just doesnt work well

I only paid $2 dollars so it think its fair. When i first installed the servers are offline so i was kinda bummed as there wasnt any info about that. After playing a few matches its fairly hard to play. I was looking for something more casual as im on a keyboard but after like tapping the turning (left,right arrow keys) more then 2 times will make u spin out. The handling seems like it wants a gas pedal and a manual transmission so your not full 1000hp 30psi boost just pushing the up arrow. Overall, bad experience for a mouse and keyboard user trying to get some races in.

At $2 it loads and you can play so i think its worthwhile but im giving it a not recommendied for keyboard players like myself.

a slight bump flips or rolls the car, the terrain has problems that make you go around them so you dont destroy the car, like a small patch of snow threw the car in the air and off the road.

Not recommended if you want to use a steering wheel. You have to detect each input axis seperately and detecting one overwrites the others, so you can't set up steering, throttle and braking. I'm using a Thrustmaster T128x.

Very good Rallying game. Lightweight and is very satisfying even with controller.

One of the best rally games to play on the Steam Deck, with graphics that look great, featuring very detailed terrain and cars.

The handling is a bit arcadey but fun and engaging, especially on a controller. Compared to Dirt 2.0, where you can barely keep the car straight sometimes.

95% of the time, the car physics are good, but in the remaining 5%, you will lose control of the car due to hitting a tiny rock when cutting a corner at a slightly wrong angle.

Overall, it's a great semi-arcade rally game to grab on sale – 8/10.

Fun time driving in this game, when comparing it to DR 2.0, it's like a 1/1,4 of DR 2.0. Worth the money

Good game for getting in to rally games but i would recommend hoping to newer games after a few hours of play time since the game is dated and feels a bit old even physics wise

Decent graphic, average physic but poorly optimized. Overall an average old school rally simcade. DiRT 4 is a better choice at the time this game released.

The dynamic external camera lifts the game to heaven. Probably, the best camera in all racing genre.
Though, the game lacks beauty in simple things, like menu and icons, and the confirmation button on the controller is detestable.
WRC series should have a baby with the Dirt series...

Even though the game is old, the driving sensation in this game feels quite realistic, the graphics are very good for an old game, and the map is also interesting even though there are not many. the classification of cars that have been used is also interesting and good.
