Home Sweet Home is now available for download on Xbox One and PlayStation®4! In addition to the digital edition of the game, a physical edition of Home Sweet Home, which includes the base game and PS VR mode, is also now available at GameStop stores across the US and at EB Games across Canada!

Synopsis
Tim’s life has drastically changed since his wife disappeared mysteriously. In one night, after suffering from the sorrow for a long time, he woke up in an unknown place instead of his house. While trying to escape from this place, he was hunted by a rancorous female spirit. Can he survive? Is this place actually his house? Does it relate to the disappearance of his wife? Some dark sinister secret is hidden inside this house, and it won’t be a place of happiness as it used to be any longer.

I absolutely loved playing this game sometimes it was a bit hard to find out what to do and in what order but up to a certain area on i believe on chapter 5 where you have to cut through a object whilst the ghost is hunting you down where if you die your progress gets reset to 0 (i believe the class room before chapter 5 comes to a close where you can ward off the spirit but only by a few seconds by the time you reach the door shes already back and the warding does not stick long either so you have to time things just perfectly and hope you don't get hit/killed its due to that one zone where you pretty much have to cheese the ghost in order to do things that have made it nearly impossible to have fun for the other chapters and moments before that point id say its more then worth it but that one moment in the game has made it to i wont play it anymore unless something gets fixed. like i said how ever loved the game its horror aspects were good the vibe was there very neatly executed

Day 11 of the October Horror Reviews: Home Sweet Home
After playing this a long time ago a couple of times, I feel like it's only right I give this the proper respect it deserves.
Home Sweet Home feels like a bit of a monster-of-the-week horror game at first glance, but is actually pretty impressive given its origin, and it's rare to find Thai horror.
This game capitalises on a few horror tropes, one of which is the "lost wife" trope. But this game feeds on religious paranoia, using the sins of the protagonist and his wife as a launchpad for evil. The game has you explore multiple areas, encountering three separate entities of escalating evil, and the final one does feel genuinely quite unsettling - even if from first glance, you might not think so.
Home Sweet Home is the opus of Yggdrazil, and as you explore the complexities of Thai myths and legends, evading omens while simultaneously pursuing them... it feels very much like you're constantly under threat, even when you're back in the titular home.
Of course, the game isn't without its flaws, and plays a little like a walking simulator at times, not to mention it requires a little bit of patience for certain sections, and the ghost girl is maybe used a bit too frequently. That said, for an undertaking like this, the game feels well-polished, especially considering there are very few bugs.
If you're looking for something short, and the origin of an interesting series of games, I'd definitely give this a try. 7/10.
