Great game, with very good hints system if you get stuck
Funny and relaxing game to spend time and find ingenious solutions to impossible problems
Good family game. Sure, there are some times you wonder what you need to click to continue. That's the point isn't it? Shouldn't be easy. I can see this game be enjoyable with 2 or more people playing together. It doesn't allow multiplayer, I'm just saying if it's a Sunday, you're all in front of the TV, start it up, it's a good family puzzle game to play together.
PROS: The simple 2D, cartoon style doesn't require a $3000 GPU or a $10000 PC. Enjoyable, stress free gaming. You don't die. You don't blow up. There's no BFG. No grenades. Play it with your cat if you want. If you have a Shiba Inu, well, you're on your own, sorry. Doesn't require any expensive gaming peripheral. No violence.
CONS: I can't think of any. If it freezes, no big deal. End task, restart.
As good as the first part!
is good
The Inner World: The Last Wind Monk is a traditional point & click adventure game produced back in 2017; it continues the story started in The Inner World. It is not necessary to have played the first game, but it helps with understanding the main characters and the strange world they inhabit. As in the earlier game, The Last Wind Monk has very good voice acting, colourful art, and much humorous dialogue, underpinned by a surprisingly dark story with many echoes (both in style e.g. the Conroyalist uniforms and banners, and in dialogue & plot - the plan to round up and kill all Flute-noses) of 1930s and WW2 Fascism.
The Last Wind Monk does not have the unreliability issues that affected its predecessor game - at least, I didn't encounter any. But, overall, I did not find playing it to be quite as satisfying as the first game, mainly because more of the puzzles seemed very obtuse, requiring the unsatisfying "try everything with everything" approach to making progress. I could see the way to solve nearly all of the puzzles in the first game, but not with The Last Wind Monk where I more often needed a mix of trial & error, and help from a guide.
I bought this game for a low price, and I can't complain about lack of value for money. My playing time represents two complete playthroughs, using two save files (three are available) - one was for my full attempt at the game (reading all of the text and listening to all of the dialogue options), and the other was for a minimalist run-through to pick up any achievements that I missed (particularly the "talk to all possible characters" one). Overall I am glad that I completed the overall story by playing this game, but it didn't leave me wanting any more.
Mixed. A sequel to, and another, average point and click. Several crashes when adjusting the graphics options, randomly in game, and when choosing "back to menu." The latter two result in the process continuing to run. I switched to Proton so I could actually play through. Visuals and movement speed are much improved.
The puzzles are once again convoluted. The story is an interesting continuation, with significant parallels to 1930s Germany.

This is a point-and-click adventure with a unique world and captivating story. This sequel takes things up a notch, boasting even more cuteness, an expanded storyline, the signature humor fans adore, and engaging puzzles.
This is a charming point-and-click adventure that captivates with its whimsical world and witty humor. The game's hand-drawn art style and engaging puzzles create a delightful experience. While the pacing can be uneven at times, the story and characters are endearing. It's a must-play for fans of the genre, offering a blend of humor, mystery, and stunning visuals.
Cute and woderful.
Good game til chapter 1 the game crashes -playing on Steamdeck
I loved this game so much! I played it immediately after the first one, and have played it through twice now. It has a very good story line, interesting characters, fun puzzles, nice music, and beautiful, hand-drawn graphics. I need another!
Loved it. Love that the hint system gives you as much or as little help as you want. And l loved the simple but chraming story a lot. would 100% recommend
It was a truly magnificently prepared Point & Click based game production, both with its puzzles and its lore. If you played the first game of Inner World, I strongly recommend that you play this sequel. If you are unaware of this series, I recommend that you jump right in. I was very impressed with the philosophical implications in it and the pure beauty of that a pure and innocent individual Robert that we miss such individuals at this time, and the series that tells the story of him alongside the gullible Asposians. I would like to state that this sequel is as beautiful as the previous game. The puzzles were very well designed, the characters, and the metaphors were all wonderful. I liked it, recommended.
wet tumble mouse
Enjoyed the first game and was happy to play this sequel. Liked the artwork and although it wasn't as charming as the first one, I was enjoying the ride. But ... the game is broken. Maybe it's because I'm playing on Linux. As soon as Chapter 1 ends, the game just crashes. So.. just got 1 chapter out of this. Sad.
