Been playing through the series. Much, MUCH better than the first one in terms of holding up in 2025. Obviously not the best and miles below AoE or RoN but good fun for a World War-esque RTS. Best upgrade from the first one is that the lower difficulties feel like it and makes up for the clunky controls.
At the time this game felt more like an expansion, not a sequel. It was a decent RTS game about WW2, but a fairly unpolished one that didn't address many shortcomings of the original. Pathfinding is the most distinct one, but also the interface. However the game isn't too bad, though could of been a lot better.
The game is good, but the mission is too little, only 2 missions per-country
MISSING FOREVER ADD ON... plzz fix. you cut out 20 % of the game. the best part. and u say its complete. fore shame guys
SS2 how i miss you. Just as much as Gamespy. The MP matchmaking was incredible. Theres still support from sudden-strike-de for mods and extra content. I still pray one day the will find the source code and revamp it. i still love the graphics. one of only a few games i dont care about no 3D. So many friends from all over the world connected forever as friends becasuse of this game. amazing!
