Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator

This is actually the second time I've bought this game for myself. That's how enjoyable the experience is. I played it the first time on my ps4 so I am playing on steam to achievement hunt. The story is very well written, the characters are great, the mini games are fun. The only thing I wish were different about the game is I wish Mary got to have some kind of ending for her story too. Like if we could befriend her and convince her to leave her shitty husband. Otherwise, highly recommend buying this.

After coming back to this game to tidy up achievements, I have to admit this is a completely different package from the one recieved at launch. The game now just feels more full and fleshed out, with additional events and side things that make the already lovable character even more so. Something people want more from it, but I think it’s best taken at it’s face value; a charming, funny, silly project featuring some familiar internet faces and trying its best to be genuine and true to itself and you, even if it is a bit clumsy. A real lover boy, so to say.

i dont know how i managed to get the bad ending with amanda on my first playthrough but it was not my best moment, i fucked craig tho so, <3

Really fun LGBTQ inclusive dating game. You play as a single dad and move into a neighborhood with your teenage daughter where there are also a lot of single daddys to choose from (hence the name). Each story is unique and it's a really fun game to play through.

This was such a delightful departure from the fast paced games I'm used to playing, very wholesome, the happily ever afters were so sweet, its pretty corny but I actually happy cried. BROS 4 LIFE! (iykyk)

What can I say, the concept is hilarious, the minigames are fun, and you'll find yourself singing the music after you play

A fun and light-hearted game with comedy and flair.

the banter is good, graphics are good, concept is good, simple game mechanics, i wish there was more flexibility in playing dressup , i.e character creation, the character i created is not nearly as handsome or well dressed as the ones i meet. wish there were good romance games for hetro people too.

I'm almost an hour into the game, this is not a dating sim, it's a take-care-of-your-children sim and I'm bored

Okay, I like it a little better, but I'm still bored. I finished the Robert route but I skipped many parts.

The artwork is decent, but the writing is terrible. The dialogue feels unnatural, and the characters are bland and uninteresting.

Game is really good but only thing i would say is there need to be more flirting and maybe some kissing stuff apart from that love the story and characters

I really tried to give this a chance, but it just wasn't my thing. Primarily the script, the dad designs, the limited options for creating your own dad, and overall it didn't hook me. I appreciate the idea, but overall probably wouldn't recommend this over other games. Probably would be worth it to stream though if you wanna have some luls with an audience. It's not unfunny.

Fun game filled with Dad jokes and lots of attractive dads!
i love the jokes in this game, and how they run with it throughout the whole play through
the sexual innuendos were perfectly timed and created a tension only appropriate for dads lol

I was in love with this game in the first few minutes when they had dad puns like the Skammunist Manifesto. Puns are awesome and the Daddys are FINNNNNE

I absolutely adore this game!
It's so cute and wholesome, also every single character is super freaking hot!
My personal favorite routes were Hugo's, Craig's and Damien's.
I will admit that Joseph's good ending is pretty disappointing. The idea of what could have been done with it are just such fascinating ideas to think about. Also, this might be a hot take, but My boy Joseph does not deserve the slander he gets! I understand why people dislike him, but I am 100% "Joseph deserved better". Honestly, both he and Mary do. The stories are so cute and wholesome, and Hugo is definitely one of my top three dream daddies.
The mini games are super fun, one of my personal favorites is the penguin mini game.
I really liked the hang-outs you could do between dates, really helped flesh the world out a bit
The Dadsona is such an endearing character, awkwardness and all. Amanda is such an awesome character, and I love how she plays off of the other kids and dadsona. I find it so interesting that depending on who you date, Dadsona has slight changes in mannerisms, but never completely changes. I love how dadsona and Mat can be awkward together
As for the other dads: I really enjoyed seeing more sides to the other dads as you continued going on dates with them. It adds so many more layers to each of them, and it makes me adore them all the more!
In conclusion: Hugo my beloved <3 Also, Damien having Naruto smut in his library is absolutely insane
100/10, highly recommend!

basically tinder for dads. I got the game cause of the cute goth dad but got weirdly invested in the other dads along the way (I´m looking at you, Robert). A few hours in and I´m feeling extremely proud of my digital daughter and greatly enjoy daddy-ing! I´d make a great father..

This game does a very good job at fleshing out the various characters, and making them feel like they're actually engaging with the environment. So many choices, that do affect relationships, as well as story outcomes. It's really fun, although a little dated by some jokes. Overall, Dream Daddy is a fun, wonderful experience!

This game turned me into a side chick (Joseph istg u r like a drug)
Witty banter, cute dad jokes, cool conspiracies and lore, and nice replayability.

As a fatherless soul, I loved the interaction between you + your daughter, Amanda.
So aside from the dating other dads, you actually DO have to focus on being a good dad.

Soundtrack? Certified bop. The art? Gorgeous. The dads? An S-tier mix of soft, spicy, and mysterious. (Joseph and Robert top tier, but maybe that's just my habit of going after emotionally unavailable cuties)

Although, I did wish there were some more CGs of the dads or even with Amanda, still, cute game overall, buy it :D !

Fantastic dating sim. The humor is brilliantly written (so many dad jokes, though. As it should be), the characters are well fleshed-out, and there are fun mini-games on some dates. My favourite part was the relationship we have with our daughter, Amanda: You really get the strong impression that while yes, you are out there dating other dads, your main priority in life is being a father to your kid. and to support her through all challenges growing up. (The other dads have this too, but of course this gets less of a focus than your relationship with Amanda. Still, you have the strong impression that the "Dream DADdy" isn't just a gimmick, but that being a dad is a huge part of the characters' lives and that being there for their children shapes a huge part of who they are.)

This isn't a game I'd usually play, but its so fun. It has a weird name, sure, but the story is pretty normal. You're a guy with a daughter and have to chat to other guys with kids too. That's pretty much it, but the characters are so great (I love all of them, seriously) and so different. There's something for everyone and their type. Like dating sims? Want your actions to have consequences? It's for you then. Great game.
