Brings back some nostalgia of my middle school when I played this. The base game is updated from the OG, the alternative play modes are a little lackluster, and some just nonsense. For example, the "Battle" mode can be beaten with ease as all monsters require the same number of keys to be unlocked so you can just buy the strongest ones. The scenarios don't allow the same combinations as the base game and vice versa with the same elements. But it was still enjoyable while it lasted.
Bought because of nostalgia. Forgot how short this game is. If the game was like $2 or $3 (similar to how much it was on the iTunes store back in the day), there would be no issue, but $10 for 3hr game like this with virtually no replayability, I wish I never bought it.
(PS: Play without sound. The sound is way too annoying for an enjoyable experience. Thank me later)

the game is 100% not worth 10 dollars. honestly it should either be free or cost 1 dollar its super boring and a complete waste of money and i would actually play this game more if it didnt cost so much, but i would rather get a refund cuz its not worth that much money. i could get an actually good and fun game for 10 dollars not wasted on whatever this is. please do not get this game unless it becomes free
A more satiracal take on the formula, where you have to be real creative on what the answers are, even the most insane of answer can be right
I partially enjoyed Doodle God (mainly out of nostalgia), but Doodle Devil is just an even worse version. Vague elements galore; somehow elves = human + light? that's the kind of "puzzle solving" you'll be doing. The devil battle gamemode is awful.
The entire alchemy game genre deserves death to be quite frank. All it is is easy solutions and then random guessing for strange nonsensical combinations.
A fun little brain tease of a game, where you take two elements and see if you can make a new element. You start off with some pretty basic elements to begin with, like Fire, Water, etc, but by the end you can make a Democracy, a BFG 9000 and even a Death Star!
Well, the title of the game implies you'll be making some devilish things, so just don't try combining things like Sex with Bomb to make a sex bomb, or Apple with Desert Eagle to try to make a gun that shoots apples.
A fun little twist on the og Doodle God, might be worth the money if you're really into the gaming dynamic like I guess I am.

A game where u mix random elements together. Not much gameplay other than dragging two elements together in hopes they create something new. Pretty creative game. Recommended if you're really bored and doing something.
One of the only Doodle God sequels/spin-offs that is actually worth your time (if you buy it on a heavy discount). There is some overlap with content from the original game, but it is conceptually fun and there is a fair amount of new stuff which makes it a nice companion game. Buy on sale if you liked the original Doodle God.
A game where you combine things with other things to make more things until you've made all the things. It's just an idea that was pretty much played out with Doodle God and yet there are so many of these games, and like an idiot I bought the bundle of them. If I could give myself a negative review I would. But I can't so Doodle Devil suffers instead.

I completely beat it in about 3 hrs.
This would have made a good add-on to Doodle God instead of a whole separate game.
Fun concept to start with, but it quickly got stale for me. It's got a really simple idea behind it, but some of the internal logic messes it up and makes some of the combinations feel like stretches. Feel free to try it out, but don't expect to be playing it for long.
Doodle Devil - 7/10
Story
Just like the flash game we all played years ago, you play as the devil and you mix elements together to make stuff, adding to your universe. So what's different from the flash game? There are about 100 more elements to create/play with, there's an additional game mode where you fight demons and quests where you have to create certain things.
Storyline Length
Creating all the elements took me about an hour and a half to two hours.
AI
The AI in the demon-fighting game mode is good, can be challenging at times, but it's very slow. I wish there was a x2 Speed button or something to make the fights go a little quicker.
Experience
It's a pretty fun game. I'd say it's relaxing but its overall atmosphere makes you feel like a dark lord when you create something. The new game modes are new and I thought they were fun for a little bit, though I thought it's a bit too easy to get the most powerful demon as they all cost the same amount of keys. I'm not sure about its replayability but I could see myself coming back to it in a few months.
Graphics
Doodles. There's not much to say, really. Elements are doodled, some things are drawn very nicely, it's good. Shading is there, attention to detail in some drawings is there, and I was always curious to see how a new element would look like.
Sound
I played this just last night so I can't remember much, but I remember not turning off the sound which is a huge plus as I usually do. The devil's voice is present and will praise or scold you depending on if you create or fail to create something. All of this is in the options and can be turned off if you just want to speed through the game without it.
Overall
I don't feel this game offends any religions so it's fine to buy even if you're a hardcore Christian I suppose. The devil battle game mode got boring for me pretty quickly, but I had tons of fun in the main game. The quests were interesting and I drew my attention to them for a little bit too. The achievements confused me for a little bit, as I should have gotten them in the game, but it turns out they unlock when you exit.

Good time killer, as are most casual games. Similar to the other doodle series and much like many alchemic games. The voice acting is what really makes me hit that thumbs up.

The sequel to JoyBits' wonderous little puzzle game, Doodle God, is here! Doodle Devil may be considered the first continuation to the original game, followed by various other lovely little puzzle games, with different themes yet same mechanics. If you've enjoyed the original, it is simply not possible to dislike this one. If it works, why change it, huh? So, the Doodle God was creating the Doodle Universe, but you didn't think that Doodle Devil was idle in the meanwhile, right? Here is what he's been up to.
As you all may be familiar with the story, he didn't take a vacation after introducing the apple into Doodle Universe. Adam and Eve were already out, so why not tap into their mortal genius just to get a bit inventive for the side of darkness, huh? I mean, what's the harm? As we start, we are already given most basic elements and concepts, which we are familiar with from the first game. From here on, we'll just try and shift things a bit for the devil's favor; inventing sins, wars, fiends, weapons etc. As I said, what can go wrong?
This one builds upon the original concept, by introducing both a philosophical undertone and somewhat violent elements for you to combine. Now, we'll tap into a darker side of our imagination, rich with both science-fiction and fantasy. Accompanying quotes are still a lovely sight for me. The humor is still spot on, and every little bit of absurdity in your element combinations are well rewarded. So, what's actually new? Well, aside the original game which would give you 198 elements to discover this time, you are given three quests with their own stories, and a mini game in which you can go for demon battles! Named fiends that you discover throughout the original game, will serve as your minions in this mini game. Pretty cool, if you'd enjoy Cthulhu going for a showdown with Baal. I know I enjoyed it.
Anything else? Well, that's pretty much it. If you have played the first game, this is a good place to pick up and peek at the other side of the balance in the universe. Sure, the price may be considered a bit steep for the content you are getting - since it doesn't contain much compared to the first game - but as long as you catch it on a sale, all's good to go. If you don’t like paying for it at all, you gotta get a mobile version from one of the appropriate platforms – yet those still use an energy system with microtransactions. I personally recommend getting the game as a whole package here. As a casual puzzle game, I consider this to be simple and rich in context, still being one of the best for its genre in the market. Had the game on mobile several years ago and remembering having enjoying it. I like thinking which items will react with one another,as well as some of the reaction are funny and clever!
Game pretty short, included in a massive pack of games in sales.
It is not the kind of game i would have buyed by myself by his more mobile game look but the game still have some to offer.
It will make you think about the best mix of elements to do (or you'll brut force by trying everything or using the hints)
I still recommend this game if you can get it in a cheap pack,
The achievements won't be a big problem to get so if you try to get some challenge, i don't recommend it.
