Does not work on AMD Ryzen 7 7700X and RX 6650 XT. Simply crashes all the time. Don't buy.
Big old Warcraft games nostalgia and the protagonist is just a goof. My orbs are definitely filled with anima.
Very nice game! Interesting mechanics and puzzles. The duration is quite right. Beautiful visuals. Totally recommend! I enjoyed playing it!
I bought this game for 1 dollar and asked for a refund after 10 minutes, which I didn't think I would ever have to do lol, but the game assets are glitching and disappearing constantly, its entirely unplayable for me unfortunately... Got very good PC btw.
unplaybale carashed and gliths
A nice decent indie title with entertaining summoning mechanics. I like the puzzle aspects a lot. The fights, on the other hand, are too long and requires too much micromanagement sometimes. They were never truly hard but time-consuming and sometimes frustrating.
I hate doing this, but I cannot recommend this game, after the experience I had...
For starters, this is a solid game
if I just look at the gameplay.. There is also one single lovely character, Maya. The puzzles, most fights, controls and collectibles are all good. Heck, each level feels distinct from the last. I hate puzzles, but the ones here, were simple and fun to go through. Some decent music. The animations in the game are superb! On top of it, it has a good price tag!
And that is about it for the good, the rest is bland, bad or worse.
Bland story, bland lore, bland characters, the MC and his wife are so bloody annoying too... No sprint button, nor faster running options for general movement... This might be a nitpick, but no walk animation with a controller either.. There is one fight in particular that just made me mad, in how annoying and frustrating it was.. It was nearly the worst part of the game for me. The fight for wife's body is the worst part of the entire game..... one constantly respawning huge enemy with multiple aoe attacks and a stationary enemy......... THAT YOU SOMEHOW CANNOT ATTACK, THAT HAS ALSO MULTIPLE AOE ATTACKS, THAT YOU CANNOT INTERRUPT.... on top of that, there are thorny veins just randomly emerging from the ground.... OH MY GOD I HATED THAT SO MUCH!!!!!!!
Crashes
I also had a problem with crashes. It crashed like once or twice for most of the game, until I got to the last mission and decided to replay some missions, in order to get the collectibles I missed and level up, before the final fight... Since then, it started to crash like crazy. The Maze of Madness mission in particular kept on crashing constantly, sometimes I could load into the hub area, other times it crashed mid loading. Playing the game in windowed mode fixed the issue for a while, but then it started to crash again... multiple times in levels where I had no issues previously..
Could be an issue with AMD (CPU and GPU), as I did not see much about this on the forum.
In conclusion
If it wouldn't crash for me so much, then despite everything I wrote above, I would have still recommend this game. Because the gameplay is just that fun. MAYA SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE WIFE GODDAMNIT!!!!!!
PS
I find it funny, that a very positively rated game on Steam, has only 10% completion rate, as per the game completion achievement %. At least as of the time of this review.
Game is unplayable.
The moment I touch a flower, text pops up that will not go away, even when I try to talk to people. No way to advance the game.
AVOID!
Very poor overall, especially the narrative; except maybe for visuals and the novel RTS-like mechanic there's not much to it.
