bullshit end boss
Interesting game, but the character can't run or crouch, so refund.
It's surprisingly fun. Great use of visuals and sound. A concise but very fullfilling experience. It's more silent hill than anything released after 4.
There is just something special about this game, as even after a long time since beating it, I still think about it hoping that I'll be able to experience something like it again.
Organ Quarter and combined with the fact that it's a VR game, exudes a sense of atmosphere that I've never seen before.
The environments in this game either range from overly claustrophobic rooms filled with piss and human flesh, to jaw dropping and vast vistas that looks phenomenal on my PSVR2 headset.
I'll never forget the moment where I stumbled into the nightclub and its dancing monsters, or the room that is filled with what seems to be the living quarters of human test subjects, or the dark deep caves of the underground and its large machinery.
And the music is top notch, it compliments this game atmosphere perfectly with tracks such as "AquaductOfGlass" and "PaleViolet" giving a sense of dread that I've never felt before when exploring these environments.
However, even with all this praise, I still can't lie to you and say that this game is flawless.
First off there's a bunch of problems, such as the constant frame drops on my RTX3070TI and Ryzen 7700x rig, outdated VR game design, and the slow movement speed which makes backtracking more frustrating near the end of the game.
But even with all this jank, it is still a fantastic survival horror adventure, and I highly recommend you try it out, as there is nothing like it in VR.
I only played it for a few minutes, but the game is just too outdated in 2024. Maybe that was ok in 2017, but I cannot play this in 2024.
