I am 32 years old.
My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.
When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.
Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.
Thank you.

Trianguluv is an unabashed ripoff of Asteroids (1980)/SpaceWar! (from 1962) but with a twist, as the developer added a little narrative plot to the game. This plot is revealed as you progress through various puzzle levels, which consist of negotiating maze like levels filled with traps and other gizmos... so some effort has gone into this, all of which is wasted with an extremely low quality technical implementation.
From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
While there are options to change the resolution for the game, all this does is scale up the simplistic 2D art assets used to make the game, which makes little or no difference to the graphics quality. Without any other substantial graphics tweaks, it's not possible for gamers to improve the lacklustre 2D visuals.
The game features extremely lazy, minimalist "art", of the type you normally expect to see in low effort Flash/browser games and mobile apps. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing.
The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts.
Bewilderingly, the game doesn't include proper audio controls, so you can't turn off the annoying background music, you'll need to alt+tab out and stop the music using the Windows sound mixer. This is obviously not okay and it's unclear why the developers chose not to include this basic feature.
The very poor quality of this game puts it squarely on-par with ancient 1990's Flash/Java games, and given it's 2023 (and this was released not so far back in 2017), gamers and the industry expect and deserve better than this kind of low effort shovelware.
These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
You don't have to take my word about how bad the game is, we can measure the interest in a game by how much people bothered to play it. Trianguluv has achievements, and they show us a very clear picture that the game absolutely failed to capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is for defeating the first "boss", trivial to achieve, but less than 3 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the game. That's a tiny, tiny proportion of gamers who even bothered with this. Ouch.
Reviewing SteamDB to check how popular this game was with players reveals a surprise... there's a very healthy spike in player counts for the game. But this isn't consistent with the achievement stats, that show less than 3 percent of players bothered playing the game for any reasonable amount of time. How is it possible for this game to have so many concurrent players who didn't bother to played the game? Trading cards. People will use card idling software to collect the cards and sell them, but this won't trigger any achievements in-game.
That tells us people only really bought this game for trading cards, and that's a damning indictment of the woeful quality. A closer look at the numbers shows the game just has a couple of players every week running up the game and idling it for cards, then deleting it. We must ask how it benefits gamers for there to be so many games like this, with no merit as a serious game, that only generate sales from people idling and selling the trading cards.
Trianguluv is relatively cheap at $2 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend.
Challenging abstract 2D flying game of precision and occasional puzzles
I started Trianguluv a few years ago and just recently came back to complete the New Game Plus+ mode.
In Trianguluv, you fly a triangular ship through levels with tight corners and try to reach the exit without crashing. It's a well-tried concept, done many times, thus so far so good, so why would this one be any different?
Well, Trianguluv shoots several curveballs at you with its various special game mechanics features, used separately or together with each other (many of the harder ones particularly in NG+):
- Moving traps (the usual saws and blocks)
- Doors (both disappearing and moving) to unlock (sometimes with timed re-locks)
- Gravity (usually none)
- Time trials (sometimes with tight corners or tunnels to dodge)
... and love ... with a second ship being steered at the same time or consequtively.
There's also a couple of "boss fights", combining several of these together (not time trials though, fortunately!).
A great title for challenge seekers
And boy, particularly the new game plus can be very challenging, requiring dozens of tries before completion.
The regular game can be completed in a couple of hours.
But if you're up for it, the new game+ adds a few hours into the mix. My completion time was about 7.5 hours, with about 4h 20m towards the new game+ that I restarted now that I returned to complete the game. Your completion time would of course depend heavily on your skill and determination.
I'd recommend this game to fans of precision platformers and of course 2D flying sims. The execution is relatively fresh to deserve a full recommendation, especially since it's quite low-priced too.
Note that it used to have a no-death achievement for NG+. I think it was very prudent that it was removed.

hard game but fun
learn the controls and thats all the challenge the game offers. its a fun couple hours
It was fun
Imagine
a small space pod, floating and drifting in space,
relying in a small thrusters to propel forward and float gently towards its target.
a car without brakes, drifting the corners.
Could be really hard and frustrating at first, gradually gets better once accustomed to the direction tappings.
Had a blast playing through the normal game.
New Game plus was even more punishing with gravity, timers, and added difficulties.
Detest the achievement to play 40+ levels without dying for a No Death mode achievement.
No Way is that rationally possible.
Was alright for the low price.
' Thumbs down ' was for the No Death Mode and its achievement.
game is good, but i saw already this type of game/mechanic i cant remember it
6/10
One of the best Minigames I played in years. Fun to play, with good music and and entertaining background story!
This game is very hard. if you want to have lots of ragequits, this is the one for you.
As a fan of Gun Rocket I definitely wanted to try this game and can say I didn't regret finishing it the first time...
While starting a New Game+ I was positively surprised by some of the ideas implemented to make the levels a lot harder. I kept playing till I got stuck here:

I tried and tried, but had to contact the developer. He decided to the change the level and I finally got an update:
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=960265412
I was still excited and continued playing past the 1st boss in New Game+. At a certain moment - while at this level 'Detour' - I came to the conclusion that the games wasn't a fun experience anymore; there was just too little room for error (again), and with that in mind, you were forced to move very slowly a lot of the time. Not a problem in case of a short level experience, but that wasn't the case a lot of the time. That aside, it's not possible to move backwards nor use a 'handbrake' or similar to completely park the triangle/rocket, making it only harder (especially with your 'Luv', where you sometimes need 4 eyes); not only unforgiven, also unfair I had to conclude, partially caused by slowness = annoyance. Checkpoints are recommended in some levels, but there are none.
A few recommendations for an update:
- 'Reverse gear' = moving backwards; only being able to make turns and rotate, often means dying through 1/3 edges of the triangle, because there's little room for error (in New Game+);
- The possibility to completely park the triangle, not moving a pixel;
- Level tests in New Game+...the progression in difficulty didn't always make sense, caused by a time limit, gravity (%) or fuel limitations;
- Level screen! Could have motivated me to continue or maybe I could have skipped a few levels first, if that would have been an option. I didn't have any insight regarding my progress, I could only find some numbers in the game data...
That being said, I can actually still recommend playing this game, because there's enough fun before you start a New Game+ - which I don't expect everyone to start anyway. I just have mixed feelings about the New Game+ Mode and actually regret having started it...I could eventually finish it, but when something's not entertaining anymore, it's better to stop. I left the game with a bad taste in my mouth.
7/10 - If you like Gun Rocket and are good at it, definitely try this, but think twice prior starting a playthrough in New Game+.
I really enjoyed playing this game! some levels can be quite difficult but still fun
Want a challenge? This is your game. I have played it through the first handful of levels and it is already a challenge, the gameplay is so simple yet so difficult at the same time. In my opinion, the game as of right now is well worth the $2.99, especially when compared to other games on steam that are at a similar price point. It even has a little replay value and as of right now 45 levels, possibly even more in the future to keep you entertained for at least a few hours or more.
Here is a video of gameplay including the first 10 levels give or take: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmX8YDIG_Eg
