About the game
qb is an open world sandbox adventure game (ALPHA STATE), where you can create and explore nearly infinite worlds. Solve challenging quests together with your friends and earn unique rewards. Collect precious raw goods and craft useful items. Enchant your gear to make it even stronger. Enhance your character and learn specialized abilities. Help the villagers and grow their homeland. Find hidden treasures and reveal their secrets.
About us
We are a team of three developers and work on qb in our freetime. It was only a small project at first which was meant for trying out new things. But once more and more features were added we decided to share qb with other players. In the current state of the game not all features are implemented and before we add more features it is better to get feedback from other players first. We would like to point out that current features and functions still contain bugs which can crash the game. With the start of the Early Access phase we might be able to employ more people to help and support us working on the game.

Between the constant crashes and bugs and the fact that it's just a complicated version of Minecraft (and a poorly executed version at that), I would NOT recommend this game to anyone. Hell if I could go back in time, I wouldn't even recommend this to myself!
First impressions of the game give me a good idea of what it's trying to go for. Think improved graphics Minecraft, with an RPG layer on top. The initial problem I have with it, is that it currently provides less information in the UI that what you would expect to see in a comparable Minecraft modpack.
Specific comments:
- I shouldn't have to open my inventory to see the durability on my tools
- Inclusion of minimap is good, but coordinates and/or markers would be helpful
- Most of the skills requiring multiple skill points seems odd. When I first start playing I don't know what any of them will really be used for and you're just building up debt on potential future character regret.
While the game WAS infested with bugs, developers fixed them, all they needed were some bug reports and testers :D
Fun game! I love these types of games, the graphics are old styled. Some might argue, but cmon!! It's not about graphics!
As for gameplay...Minecraft but with an RPG twist + magic! The thing is, It's NOTHING like minecraft, they ONLY used that style. There's lockpicking, alchemy, beer and like what...over 15 biomes with 4 different enemies/animals?
Of course, it's still E A so don't expect 100% polished gameplay!!!
For the love of god..PLEASE report every bug/glitch you see, it really helps them, the last time someone wrote a bug report in the discord server was like 2019/2020 (well...expect me, I put a whole bible of bug reports xD)

This game sux you get killed by a bunch of mushroom critters before you can even look around or do anything. I've had this game for a long time and every time I load it up to see how its doing the same thing happens. Seriously...
the worst it doesent even load
There are a lot of quirky problems with the game but, the actual gameplay once you start going is pretty fun. I know the dev's are working on the game and talk on discord often. They are helpful and funny characters. I know that a new update is coming soon and I'm waiting to see what happens.
I personally hope for optimization soon.
Not Co op friendly! We tried a lot to make this work and it never was able to connect...at all. the game looks fun but Crashed my mac and I almost had to take it in, thankfully after about the 30th cycle of crashing we were able to close everything! I wish this was the game they say it is but for me unplayable with friends and that is the only reason I bought it.

it's hard to find quest npc's sometimes.
i like the game otherwise, it's not too difficult, and yet not too hard.
i found the mining and woodcutting to be a bit clunky due to the way it works, it's more of a gradual block disappearance until it goes away, rather than for example in minecraft where you see cracks in the stone/wood etc.
it made it a bit harder to judge the timing, but you get used to it eventually...
it crashed once within around 2 hours, after that no issues, (played for 4.4 hours so far)
i manged to find a village which was awesome, because it gave me access to 4 vendors, and a couple houses i could raid, and also make a permanent base.
i got a bit bored since i didn't find any new quests for a while, but i'll try playing it more later.
for the price i feel like it's worth a shot, but keep in mind it's in early access. i hope they will smooth things out a bit more, maybe make the map better, or show quest npc's on the map or something.
i'm recommending it because the price is rather low and it gave me at least 4 hours of fun, and will probably give me more in the future.

I've played this game a bit more now, and i find it to be quite fun, i love how the levelling is very impactful, but a con that i noticed recently is that the lockpicking system in this game is utter trash to play, something that soured my gameplay experience quite a bit considering that i had to spend a point in picking locks to do it.

no considerable updates, while it has been updated it's still lacking so much. honestly this game has basically been abandoned. the game still plays like shit and it's so easy idk what to even do anymore. the travelling is just boring since the distances are so huge and filled with nothingness. i like a few things about the game, like the animals spawning and such, but after all this time i expected more to be done with this game.
I found this game very challenging to play.(Which I like) Although a few things that I would change or work on just do to the fact that it can be annoying.
It'd be nice to have the leaves on the trees disappear after cutting them down. Weather it be slowly or instantly, eitherway. Trying to find all the wood to cut and the fact that it makes a mess in your area is a pain. LOL.
Also for some reason I can not use my sword even after leveling up my swordsmanship I am still needing to use the bow.
I also ran into a bad glitch. I worked VERY hard to get the stuff to build a TAVERN and went to the guy to get the flag for it and all he said was lets see if we can find a place for it and took half my stuff and didn't give me the flag. He took ALL the 315 Half Timbered Fames and those are REALLY hard to come up with.
We need a walk thru for some things like enchanting (I can only seem to enchant my Staff.)
These are just a few things I have seen. Otherwise keep up the great work. this game has the potential to surpass even Minecraft. Love playing it.
This is one of my fav crafting/building/adventuring type of games already and I've only around 60hrs of game play so far..it's right up there with Portal Knights Imo and it's only early access and doing such a great job! Sure there are the normal early access things to expect...but you can see where things are being improved. The Dev's are great and respond regularly in the forums..so there is communication..that's a major plus! Updates/fixes, etc. are not thousands of years inbetween so you can see progress progress progress.
The graphics are beautiful..When I first saw the detail of the blocks I was impressed. Sceneries are just gorgeous...makes one want to go out adventuring/exploring. The music is beautiful and fits each type of zone so far from what I've seen and I've been all over adventuring..just cant get enough of it!
The world feels alive with many villages, etc.
The enemies are very well done and I've been very impressed with the look of them.
Crafting is very nice.
Combat has been updated and feels more rewarding.
The only Con I have come across is - Not enough time in the day to play!
I look forward to many many more hours of game play...and watching this game grow into a masterpiece.

Well the game is broken and cant log into it. So I say scam stay away
While this still needs some work, I definitely recommend it - on the surface it is a Minecraft clone but look closer and there is rather a lot of innovation. It's still obviously Early Access -- many small to medium bugs -- but it's very playable and has an active developer team. And it's an absolute steal; I've played way less fun games for more money.
Still not giving a recommend. You might like it, it's not this bad, but still ain't that good either. If you really are into these games and really want to be part of the process, go ahead. last few updates were kind of good, nothing to get me to play again.
Ok so, would love to give this one a "yes" but at this point, seeing that i'm encountering problems that where there almost a year ago, and since the main dev is "writing is thesis", I feel like this one is gonna be another abandonware. I hope I'm wrong but right now, even for this low price, I wouldn't recommend anyoine to buy. I will come back to this game in a few month But I feel pretty much cheated and don't have high hopes.
Great game it is early Access, i bought this game 4 times for nmy friends, i am currently also the only person in this game with a functional server.
nice little game to kill some time, me and a friend playing together got hooked very quick, yes its early acsess and it shows with the odd bugs and fps drops, but considering its 3 developers its very impressive, more than worth the money, as getting more game time out of this as aposed to spending 40quid on a AAA game and only getting 8 hours tops, looking forward to updates and optimizations but worth buying
Really good game for the price, Constant updates, nice little game if you have nothing to do and you might get hooked on it.
First impression you think of minecraft. Is this a total rip of minecraft? No, This is a very relaxing, enjoyable game with a neat quest system and magic, lockpicking, and skills to improve your character and you're able to loot from enemies and craft/enchant weapons. If you liked the concept of minecraft, you will enjoy this game.

This game is actually really fun and what time I played it I enjoyed it. Some of the animations are wacky but its Alpha so I'm not really complaining. Hopefully the crashing issue for MAC users gets fixed soon as well. But other than that, really good game for being Alpha. 8/10
